Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Questionable for road trip
Mukhamadullin (upper body) is not guaranteed to be on the Sharks' road trip, which starts Tuesday versus the Islanders, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Mukhamadullin will miss his second straight game Saturday, but his status beyond that is murky. If he doesn't join the road trip, he could be out of the lineup for an additional four contests. Even when healthy, he's not guaranteed to play.

John Klingberg D | SJ
Sharks' John Klingberg: Expected to travel for trip
Klingberg (lower body) is expected to accompany the Sharks on their road trip that starts Tuesday versus the Islanders, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Klingberg's presence on the trip is not a guarantee he'll play, but it bodes well that he hasn't gotten any worse than day-to-day. The 33-year-old will likely replace Vincent Desharnais in the lineup once healthy.

Nils Lundkvist D | DAL
Stars' Nils Lundkvist : Sitting out Saturday
Lundkvist (lower body) won't suit up Saturday versus the Blues, Sam Nestler of DLLS Stars reports.
Lundkvist was a game-time decision but appears unable to play after sustaining the injury Thursday versus the Canucks. Ilya Lyubushkin will draw back into the lineup to replace Lundkvist, who will try to get healthy in time for Tuesday's contest versus the Blue Jackets.

Thomas Harley D | DAL
Stars' Thomas Harley: Set to play
Harley (illness) is expected to play Saturday versus the Blues, Sam Nestler of DLLS Stars reports.
Harley was a game-time decision heading into this contest, but it looks like he's good to go. He has a goal and five assists through four games this season while seeing top-four minutes and power-play time. Nils Lundkvist (lower body) will be out, allowing Ilya Lyubushkin to draw back in.

Zach Bogosian D | MIN
Wild's Zach Bogosian: Won't play Saturday
Bogosian (lower body) won't play against Philadelphia on Saturday, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
Bogosian will miss at least one game after being hurt in Friday's 5-1 loss to Washington. He hasn't picked up a point in five appearances this season while collecting five shots on goal, nine blocked shots and six hits. David Jiricek will replace Bogosian in Saturday's lineup versus the Flyers.

Jacob Bryson D | WPG
Sabres' Jacob Bryson: In concussion protocol
Bryson was put in the concussion protocol Saturday, per Heather Engel of NHL.com.
Bryson suffered the injury when he fell awkwardly into the boards during Buffalo's 3-0 victory over Florida on Saturday. The 27-year-old defenseman's placement in the concussion protocol suggests he'll probably miss at least some time. Zach Metsa is likely to draw into the lineup while Bryson is absent.

David Jiricek D | PHI
Wild's David Jiricek: Recalled from AHL
Jiricek was summoned from AHL Iowa on Saturday.
Jiricek could be in the lineup for Saturday's matchup against Philadelphia after Zach Bogosian (undisclosed) sustained an injury in Friday's 5-1 loss to Washington. The 23-year-old Jiricek has one assist in one minor-league game this season.
-
Noah Hanifin D | LV
Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin: Hasn't resumed skating
Hanifin (undisclosed) will miss Saturday's clash against Calgary.
Hanifin is day-to-day, but he hasn't resumed skating yet, so his return probably isn't imminent. He hasn't played since Vegas' 6-5 shootout loss to LA on Oct. 8 because of the injury. Ben Hutton will likely remain in the lineup while Hanifin is on the shelf.
-
Niko Mikkola D | FLA
Panthers' Niko Mikkola: Suffers injury Saturday
Mikkola (upper body) won't return to Saturday's game against Buffalo.
Mikkola had two PIM in only 6:53 of ice time before leaving the contest. He entered Saturday's matchup with five hits and eight blocked shots across six appearances. If Mikkola can't play Tuesday against Boston, Donovan Sebrango or Tobias Bjornfot could fill in on the back end.
