Sean Durzi D | UTA
Mammoth's Sean Durzi: Nabs helper in loss
Durzi provided an assist and two hits in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Ducks.
Durzi ended a seven-game point drought with the helper. The 27-year-old defenseman has four assists and a minus-6 rating over 13 appearances since the Olympic break. Durzi has seen his role reduced since the Mammoth traded for MacKenzie Weegar. Durzi is at 23 points, 67 shots on net, 77 blocked shots, 34 hits, 44 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 49 appearances this season, so he can still provide some value in deeper formats.

Drew Helleson D | ANA
Ducks' Drew Helleson: Losing playing time
Helleson has been scratched in eight of the Ducks' 13 games since the Olympic break after sitting out Friday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Helleson's drop in playing time is partly a product of the arrival of John Carlson in a trade from the Capitals. The Ducks have occasionally gone to seven defensemen in the lineup, but that's not what they're currently doing, though Helleson has yet to sit more than four games in a row at any time this season. The 24-year-old has 12 points, 35 shots on net, 57 hits, 73 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 53 appearances.

John Carlson D | ANA
Ducks' John Carlson: Gets first point with new team
Carlson logged an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Carlson helped out on a Cutter Gauthier empty-netter, with the former getting his first point as a Duck in the process. Carlson's Anaheim debut was delayed by his recovery from a lower-body injury, which cost him 10 contests coming out of the Olympic break. The 36-year-old blueliner has taken on a top-four role with power-play time as expected in his first three contests for the Ducks. Overall, he has 47 points, 89 blocked shots, 121 shots on net and a plus-13 rating through 58 appearances between the Ducks and the Capitals this season.

Donovan Sebrango D | FLA
Panthers' Donovan Sebrango: Ends slump with helper
Sebrango notched an assist and two hits in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Flames.
The helper was Sebrango's first point since he had two assists versus the Golden Knights on Nov. 10. He went 21 contests without getting on the scoresheet. Despite the lack of offense, Sebrango now has a clear path to playing time after Niko Mikkola (knee) sustained an injury Friday that will likely cost him time. Sebrango is at three assists, 20 shots on net, 48 hits, 22 blocked shots, 60 PIM and a minus-10 rating over 29 outings between the Panthers and the Senators this season.

Wyatt Kaiser D | CHI
Blackhawks' Wyatt Kaiser: Nets lone goal in loss
Kaiser scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Avalanche.
Kaiser led the Blackhawks with 21:38 of ice time in this contest. He has two points over his last three games and continues to grow into a more significant top-four role late in the campaign. The 23-year-old blueliner has picked up six goals, 14 points, 65 shots on net, 55 blocked shots, 39 hits, 30 PIM and a minus-10 rating over 64 appearances this season, showing modest growth on offense after his eight-point effort in 57 outings a year ago.

Harrison Brunicke D | PIT
Penguins' Harrison Brunicke: Posts three assists
Brunicke logged three assists in WHL Kamloops' 7-3 win over Vancouver on Friday.
Brunicke has earned four helpers over his last two contests. The defenseman has earned two goals and 20 helpers over 23 appearances for the Blazers after starting the year in the NHL with the Penguins. He'll likely get a long look in training camp with Pittsburgh in the fall.

Niko Mikkola D | FLA
Panthers' Niko Mikkola: Expected to miss time
Mikkola sustained an apparent left knee injury Friday versus the Flames, and he is expected to miss time pending further evaluation, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Mikkola was hurt in the third period after taking contact to his knee. The Panthers have already been rotating players out of the lineup, so if this injury is even of moderate severity, the 29-year-old defenseman could get shut down. Donovan Sebrango figures to receive steadier playing time in the event Mikkola is sidelined for most or all of the rest of the season.

Louis Crevier D | CHI
Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Expected to travel next week
Crevier (undisclosed) is unlikely to play Sunday versus the Predators, but he is expected to be on the Blackhawks' road trip, which starts Tuesday versus the Islanders, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.
Crevier looks set to miss a second game, but he could be back in less than a week. The 24-year-old defenseman will probably handle a bottom-four role once he's cleared to return. In his absence, Ethan Del Mastro should continue to play regularly.

Victor Soderstrom D | BOS
Bruins' Victor Soderstrom: Three points in AHL win
Soderstrom scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Providence's 4-3 win over Utica on Friday.
Soderstrom has five points over his last four games. He's gotten on the scoresheet in nine of his last 15 outings to show some consistency late in the campaign. Overall, Soderstrom has eight goals, 27 points, 79 shots on net and a plus-9 rating across 48 appearances.

Louis Crevier D | CHI
Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Can't play Friday
Crevier (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup Friday versus the Avalanche, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Crevier was apparently injured versus the Wild on Thursday, though he's not expected to miss much time. The 24-year-old defenseman's absence will force the Blackhawks to go back to six blueliners Friday, with forwards Dominic Toninato and Sam Lafferty entering the lineup to cover Crevier and Andrew Mangiapane's (undisclosed) absences.
