  • Predators' Justin Barron: Deposits goal in loss

Barron scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Barron ended a 12-game point drought with the tally. He had 16 shots on net, 18 hits and 16 blocked shots in that span, and he also kept an even plus-minus rating. The 23-year-old defenseman has grown his responsibility during his time in Nashville following a December trade from Montreal. He's now at 10 points, 62 shots on net, 71 blocked shots, 68 hits and a minus-12 rating over 55 appearances between the two teams this season.

  • Dante Fabbro D | CLB

Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Two points against former team

Fabbro scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Predators.

This was Fabbro's first game against the Predators since they waived him in November. He made the most of it, delivering a two-point effort against his former team. All 22 of his points have come in 53 appearances with the Blue Jackets, primarily as a top-four option alongside Zach Werenski. Fabbro has added 72 shots on net, 62 hits, 125 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating through 59 games this season. He looks no worse for wear after missing Saturday's game versus the Senators, so he should continue to play a big role while trying to help the Blue Jackets earn a playoff spot.

  • Kings' Joel Edmundson: Gathers assist Tuesday

Edmundson notched an assist and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Jets.

Edmundson set up Trevor Moore's opening goal at 8:28 of the first period. This helper got Edmundson to the 20-point mark for the second time in his career, matching his personal-best output from the 2019-20 campaign. The 31-year-old defenseman has six goals, 14 assists, 89 shots on net, 103 blocked shots, 93 hits and a plus-25 rating through 70 contests as a fixture on the Kings' blue line in his first year with the team.

  • Sharks' Jack Thompson: Draws assist Tuesday

Thompson recorded an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Thompson's return to the NHL saw him get on the scoresheet for the first time since March 3. The 23-year-old is up with the big club due to numerous injuries on defense. He could stick around for a while as well, as Shakir Mukhamadullin (upper body) joined Henry Thrun (upper body), Vincent Desharnais (upper body) and Jimmy Schuldt (undisclosed) in the medical bay. Thompson has provided a little upside with seven points and 35 shots on net over 25 appearances, though he also sports a minus-6 rating.

  • Sharks' Mario Ferraro: Assists in consecutive contests

Ferraro notched an assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Ferraro has a helper in back-to-back games and four assists over his last eight outings. The 26-year-old is up to 15 points, 70 shots on net, 142 hits, 119 blocked shots, 53 PIM and a minus-28 rating through 74 contests. Despite his recent play, he's not a great source of offense, though he could help fantasy managers who need a boost in the physical categories.

  • Sharks' Marc-Edouard Vlasic: Gets first goal of season

Vlasic scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Ducks.

The goal was Vlasic's first of the season, cutting the deficit to 3-2 in the third period. This was his second game back after missing four contests due to an upper-body injury. The Sharks' blue line is a little beat up right now, so Vlasic should play regularly to close out the campaign if he can stay healthy. The 38-year-old has three points, 10 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating across 19 appearances this season. He is under contract for 2025-26, though he may have to settle for a part-time role if the Sharks think it's better to let younger players get a chance.

  • Radko Gudas D | ANA

Ducks' Radko Gudas: Registers assist in shootout win

Gudas notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

Gudas ended a six-game dry spell with his helper on a Sam Colangelo tally late in the first period. The 34-year-old Gudas continues to be a shutdown defender, and that's allowed Jackson LaCombe to flourish when the two blueliners are partnered together. Gudas is up to 15 points, 78 shots on net, 243 hits, 160 blocked shots, 76 PIM and a plus-5 rating through 73 contests. He's not a big scorer, but he's a significant force in banger leagues.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Strikes on power play

LaCombe scored a power-play goal on three shots and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

LaCombe's first-period tally extended his point streak to six games (three goals, five assists). The defenseman also logged a career-high 31:04 of ice time. This is just more proof that he has gone from the fringe of the roster to the Ducks' top blueliner over the course of this season. He's now at 14 goals, 43 points (nine on the power play), 118 blocked shots, 60 hits and a plus-1 rating over 67 appearances.

  • Golden Knights' Kaedan Korczak: Pockets assist in loss

Korczak notched an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Oilers.

Korczak has earned three helpers over his last five outings. The 24-year-old continues to play because Alex Pietrangelo (lower body) is unavailable, though Pietrangelo returned to practice Monday. Korczak has a career-high 10 points, all assists, with 30 shots on net, 53 hits, 35 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 35 contests this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Three-game, five-assist streak

Werenski had two assists in an 8-4 win over Nashville on Tuesday.

He recorded four shots. Werenski has five assists and 15 shots across his current three-game streak. He's second in scoring from the blue line with 74 points, and he has pounded out a career high 265 shots. Both are a massive increase from Werenski's career marks of 57 points, which he set last season, and 216 shots, set in 2021-22. An 80-point campaign is within reach.
