Mikhail Sergachev D | UTA
Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Scores, assists in win
Sergachev recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday's 5-2 win over Chicago.
Sergachev recorded his two contributions in a 31-second span. He scored his 14th goal of the season at the 16:37 mark of the second period to even the score, and later he assisted on Alex Kerfoot's goal at the 17:08 mark of the same frame. Sergachev has recorded only four points over his last nine outings, but despite the recent drop in form, he's been one of the most consistent blueliners for Utah this season. He's up to 47 points (14 goals, 33 assists) this season. That's the second-best point output of his nine-year career, only surpassed by the 64 points he recorded in 2022-23 as a member of the Lightning.

Jack Rathbone D | BUF
Sabres' Jack Rathbone: Sent to AHL
Rathbone was loaned to AHL Rochester on Monday.
Rathbone was called up by the Sabres on Sunday to provide additional depth, but he'll head back to the minors since Rasmus Dahlin has moved past his illness. Rathbone hasn't made an NHL appearance since the 2022-23 campaign, and it seems unlikely that he'll rejoin Buffalo before the end of the regular season.

Erik Johnson D | COL
Avalanche's Erik Johnson: Returning against Flames
Johnson (lower body) will rejoin the lineup against Calgary on Monday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.
Johnson will be back in action following a three-game stint on the shelf due to his lower-body issue. With the veteran blueliner in the lineup, Keaton Middleton will be a healthy scratch. In six games with the Avalanche, Johnson has yet to register a point, but wasn't brought back to Colorado to be an offensive contributor anyway.

Charlie McAvoy D | BOS
Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Still no timeline
McAvoy (shoulder) fully participated in Monday's practice, but there is still no timeline for his return to the lineup, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports.
McAvoy has missed the last 17 games but appears to be progressing. It's still unclear if he will return before the end of the regular season, though that could be a possibility if he continues to improve. McAvoy has compiled seven goals, 23 points, 98 shots on net, 81 blocked shots and 89 hits in 50 appearances this season.

Jakob Chychrun D | WAS
Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Ends goal drought with two tallies
Chychrun tallied two goals, fired four shots on net and had two hits in Sunday's 8-5 loss to the Sabres.
Chychrun tallied the first two goals of the game for the Capitals. He scored the first goal of the game 10:06 into the first period before tallying his second just 32 seconds after the Sabres took a 2-1 lead. Overall, the 27-year-old blueliner has 20 goals, 46 points and 171 shots on net in 68 games this season. Chychrun's goals ended a nine-game drought without lighting the lamp. However, he remained active on offense during this stretch with four assists and 31 shots on net. His first season with the Capitals has been the best offensive campaign of his career and he is currently tied with teammate John Carlson for 15th-most points from a defenseman in the league this season. Chychrun should maintain strong value in all fantasy formats for the remainder of the season.

Dmitry Kulikov D | FLA
Panthers' Dmitry Kulikov: Won't play during road trip
Kulikov (upper body) will travel with the Panthers during their upcoming four-game road trip but won't play in any of those matchups, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
The Panthers had previously reported that Kulikov could return to the lineup during the final week of the regular season, and while he won't suit up during the team's upcoming road trip, it's at least encouraging that he's been cleared to travel. Following the road trip, Kulikov will have five more chances to return during the regular season, and any game action would allow him to regain his conditioning ahead of the NHL playoffs.

Declan Chisholm D | WAS
Wild's Declan Chisholm: Still sidelined Monday
Chisholm (lower body) will remain unavailable versus the Devils on Monday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Chisholm will miss his fourth straight game due to his lingering lower-body issue. The 25-year-old blueliner has already set new personal bests in games played (61), assists (10) and points (12) this year. Once given the all-clear, Chisholm should slot into a third-pairing role, likely relegating Jon Merrill to the press box.
-
Dante Fabbro D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Not ruled out Tuesday
Fabbro (undisclosed) is still being evaluated and hasn't been ruled out for Tuesday's game versus Nashville, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Fabbro has already reached the 20-point mark this year and could still push to surpass his career-best 24-point total set back in 2021-22 when he was with Nashville. If Fabbro does return to action Tuesday, it will likely come at the expense of Jake Christiansen, who figures to be relegated to the press box.

Rasmus Ristolainen D | PHI
Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Not expected back
Ristolainen (upper body) is not expected to return this season, according to interim head coach Brad Shaw, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports Monday.
Ristolainen has already missed the last nine games due to his upper-body issue and now will have to wait until next season to get back into the lineup. Unfortunately for the 30-year-old blueliner, he will come one point shy of reaching the 20-point threshold, missing that mark for the fourth time in the last five years.

Michael Callahan D | BOS
Bruins' Michael Callahan: Back with main roster
Callahan was called up from AHL Providence on Monday, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.
Callahan's demotion to the minors Sunday appears to have been nothing more than a paper transaction. Still, the blueliner is far from a lock to suit up against the Capitals on Tuesday and will need to edge out Parker Wotherspoon or Ian Mitchell for a spot in the lineup.
