Jakob Chychrun D | WAS
Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Expected to play Tuesday
Chychrun (hand/wrist) is slated to play Tuesday versus Winnipeg, per Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.
Chychrun's availability was in question after he suffered a laceration to his hand/wrist area during Saturday's 6-3 victory over the Panthers. He has 18 goals, 43 points, 46 PIM, 47 hits and 79 blocks in 65 outings in 2024-25. This will be his first game since inking an eight-year, $72 million contract extension.

MacKenzie Weegar D | UTA
Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Back in lineup versus Seattle
Weegar (lower body) will be available Tuesday against the Kraken, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Weegar will return to the lineup Tuesday after sitting out Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Islanders. Brayden Pachal is the likely candidate to come out of the lineup due to Weegar's return. The 31-year-old Weegar has accounted for seven markers, 34 helpers and a plus-14 rating over 68 appearances in 2024-25.

Shea Theodore D | LV
Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Might return Tuesday in Minnesota
Theodore (arm) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's road matchup against the Wild, according to Jessi Pierce of NHL.com.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy relayed that Theodore will make the decision whether he's in the lineup Tuesday. The left-shot blueliner has missed 14 consecutive games after getting hurt in the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament. Pierce noted that Theodore said he "feels good," so even if he doesn't suit up in Minnesota, the 29-year-old is poised to return at some point during Vegas' three-game road trip. Theodore occupied a spot on the second pairing next to Brayden McNabb at Tuesday's morning skate.

Nick Jensen D | OTT
Senators' Nick Jensen: Status up in the air Tuesday
Jensen (lower body) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game in Buffalo, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Jensen last suited up March 13 and has missed four consecutive games. The right-shot defenseman has contributed three goals, 19 points and a plus-17 rating over 60 appearances this season. Jensen will likely replace one of Travis Hamonic or Nikolas Matinpalo in a bottom-four role once he's ready to return.

Adam Boqvist D | NYI
Islanders' Adam Boqvist: Two helpers against former club
Boqvist notched two assists in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Returning from an upper-body injury in time to face the team he spent the last three seasons with, Boqvist helped set up tallies by Pierre Engvall in the first period and Anders Lee in the second. Boqvist was pressed into service as a forward due to the absences of Mathew Barzal (knee) and Hudson Fasching (illness), but with the Islanders now completely healthy on the blue line, it's not clear if there will be room for Boqvist at his usual position. On the season, he's delivered four goals and 13 points in 31 appearances.

Cam Crotty D | OTT
Wild's Cameron Crotty: Recalled Tuesday
Crotty was summoned under emergency conditions from AHL Iowa on Tuesday.
Crotty has eight assists and 47 PIM in 56 outings with Iowa in 2024-25. Defensemen Jonas Brodin (lower body) and Declan Chisholm (undisclosed) are questionable Tuesday versus Vegas, so Crotty might draw into Minnesota's lineup for the first time this season.

Jakob Chychrun D | WAS
Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Locked up for eight years
Chychrun (hand/wrist) inked an eight-year, $72 million contract extension with the Capitals on Tuesday.
Chychrun's new deal will begin with the 2025-26 campaign and run through 2032-33. He has 18 goals, 43 points, 46 PIM, 47 hits and 79 blocks in 65 appearances with Washington this campaign. This is the 26-year-old's second straight campaign with at least 40 points and the third time he's hit that milestone in his career. Chychrun is getting a big raise compared to his current $4.6 million cap hit, but he should serve in a top-four capacity for the Capitals throughout the life of his new contract. In the short term, Chychrun is questionable for Tuesday's game against Winnipeg after sustaining a laceration to his hand/wrist area during Saturday's 6-3 win over Florida.

Declan Chisholm D | WAS
Wild's Declan Chisholm: Departs Monday's game
Chisholm sustained an undisclosed injury after blocking a shot in Monday's 3-0 loss to Dallas, according to Joe Smith of The Athletic.
Chisholm logged two PIM and two blocked shots in 7:51 of ice time before exiting. Head coach John Hynes did not have an update on the left-shot blueliner's status after the game, and with Jonas Brodin dealing with a lower-body injury, the Wild may have to recall a defenseman from AHL Iowa ahead of Tuesday's home matchup against the Golden Knights.

Cam Crotty D | OTT
Wild's Cameron Crotty: Returns to minors
Crotty was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Monday.
Crotty was recalled from AHL Iowa on Sunday on an emergency basis, but his services weren't needed Monday versus the Stars. He has eight helpers over 56 minor-league appearances in 2024-25.

Shea Theodore D | LV
Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Closing in on return
Theodore (arm) is with the club on its three-game road trip and is on track to return to the lineup this week, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Monday.
Theodore will need to be activated from long-term injured reserve in order to be eligible to suit up. The smooth-skating blueliner returned to practice last week in a non-contact jersey, though it's unclear if he has upgraded to full contact as of Monday. Kaedan Korczak and Ben Hutton will more than likely be Vegas' extra defensemen once Theodore is ready to return. The 29-year-old Theodore could be eased back into action once he's in the lineup, but he should eventually replace Noah Hanifin on the No. 1 power-play unit.
