  • Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Heads to AHL

Salomonsson (concussion) was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Wednesday.

Salomonsson was in the concussion protocol, but this move suggests that he's been cleared medically. The 21-year-old had a goal and five points across 32 outings with Winnipeg in 2025-26.

  • Bruins' Jonathan Aspirot: Two helpers in Game 2 win

Aspirot pocketed two assists Tuesday during the Bruins' 4-2 win over the Sabres in Game 2 of their first-round series.

The rookie defenseman helped set up Viktor Arvidsson tallies in the second and third periods. Aspirot hadn't produced any points at all in eight April games leading into Tuesday, including a Game 1 loss, but he's been finding other ways to contribute with seven blocked shots and four hits through two games to begin the series.

  • Flyers' Hunter McDonald: Recalled by Philadelphia

McDonald was recalled from AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

McDonald made his NHL debut this year during Philadelphia's regular-season finale, but he was sent back down after the game. However, he'll rejoin the NHL club as one of the Black Aces for the playoffs. He recorded six assists and 92 PIM across 65 appearances with Lehigh Valley this year.

  • Helge Grans D | PHI

Flyers' Helge Grans: Promoted to NHL

Grans was called up from AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Grans was one of five Black Aces brought up by the Flyers on Wednesday. The 23-year-old blueliner shouldn't be expected to play in the postseason, but he will serve as an emergency depth option should the need arise. With the Phantoms this year, Grans racked up three goals and 11 helpers in 61 contests and could be under consideration for a spot on the Opening Night roster heading into the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

Avalanche's Josh Manson: Garners helper in overtime win

Manson logged an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings in Game 2.

Manson dealt with an upper-body injury late in the regular season, which cost him three games. The 34-year-old defenseman snapped a five-game point drought when he set up Nicolas Roy's game-winning tally in overtime. Manson had a strong regular season with 31 points, 128 shots on net, 174 hits, 99 blocked shots, 91 PIM and a plus-42 rating over 79 appearances. Over seven previous postseason runs, the defenseman has earned 21 points across 65 outings, including eight points over 20 games during the Avalanche's Stanley Cup championship run in 2022.

  • Mammoth's MacKenzie Weegar: Credited with goal Game 2 win

Weegar scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 2.

Weegar was credited with the Mammoth's first goal, which was ruled an own goal by the Golden Knights. The 32-year-old defenseman last scored March 26 versus the Capitals, picking up four assists over nine outings between tallies. Weegar is in the playoffs for the fourth time in his career and the first since 2021-22. In the three prior postseason runs, he collected five points over 20 contests.

  • Lane Hutson D | MON

Canadiens' Lane Hutson: First career NHL playoff goal

Hutson scored a power-play goal Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime to the Lightning in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

It was his first career NHL playoff goal, but it won't be the talented defender's last. Hutson scored with a one-timer from the point that somehow went through traffic and under Andrei Vasilevskiy's blocker arm. Hutson has a goal, assist and eight shots, including six Tuesday, in two postseason games.

  • Janis Moser D | TB

Lightning's J.J. Moser: Unlikely overtime hero in Game 2

Moser scored the game-winning goal Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

Anthony Cirelli won an offensive zone faceoff back to Moser, who took off along the blue line and down the top of the right circle before roofing the puck over Jakub Dobes' glove. It came at 12:48 of the overtime frame. Moser isn't known for his offense. He finished the regular season with seven goals, 22 assists, 111 shots, a plus-41 rating, 91 blocks, 69 PIM and 61 hits.

  • Ty Emberson D | EDM

Oilers' Ty Emberson: Gathers assist in Game 1 win

Emberson notched an assist and two hits in Monday's 4-3 win over the Ducks in Game 1.

Emberson went 17 games without a point to end the regular season, and he also missed five contests due to an undisclosed injury in that span. He's set for third-pairing minutes this postseason, but if he struggles, Spencer Stastney could be swapped into the lineup. Emberson had 12 points, 46 shots on net, 107 hits and 106 blocked shots over 72 regular-season outings. His helper Monday was his first career playoff point -- he was held off the scoresheet in nine appearances last spring in his first taste of postseason action.

  • Jake Walman D | EDM

Oilers' Jake Walman: Produces two helpers

Walman logged two assists, two shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 4-3 win over the Ducks in Game 1.

Walman had just two helpers with a minus-10 rating, 36 shots on net and 38 blocked shots over his last 21 outings in the regular season. Overall, he logged 20 points, 96 shots, 90 blocks and a minus-17 rating over 53 regular-season contests. Walman is likely to fill a bottom-four role during the playoffs. He was moderately productive in the playoffs last year with 10 points over 22 outings.
