  • Ducks' Brian Dumoulin: Attempts to spark comeback

Dumoulin scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Canucks.

Dumoulin got the Ducks within a goal in the third period, but they couldn't tie the game. The defenseman has four points over his last eight outings while going plus-4 in that span. The 33-year-old is up to two goals and 16 points through 61 appearances, matching his 80-game point total from last season. If he finishes 2024-25 strong, he could reach the 20-point mark for the third time in his career. Dumoulin also has 57 shots on net, 60 hits, 91 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating for the season.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Sends assist in win

Pettersson posted an assist and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Pettersson was back in the lineup after being a scratch Saturday versus the Kraken. The 21-year-old defenseman has earned two helpers over 11 appearances this season, and he's added 10 shots on net, 14 hits, seven blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. He's also seeing sheltered minutes in his first taste of NHL play, averaging 12:26 per game. He may be able to hold a spot in the lineup at least until Quinn Hughes (undisclosed) can return to action.

  • Filip Hronek D | VAN

Canucks' Filip Hronek: Dishes two assists in win

Hronek notched two assists, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

These helpers were Hronek's first points in six games since the 4 Nations Face-Off break. The defenseman has also gone minus-10 in that span -- he's clearly missing the presence of his usual defensive partner, Quinn Hughes, who is sidelined by an undisclosed injury. Hronek now has 20 points, 55 shots on net, 62 hits, 49 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating across 40 appearances this season.

  • Carson Soucy D | NYI

Canucks' Carson Soucy: Nets game-winner Wednesday

Soucy scored a goal in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Soucy tallied at 18:51 of the second period to put the Canucks ahead 3-1. The Ducks got one goal back in the third, but Soucy's tally held as his second game-winner and third goal overall this season. He's up to 10 points, 62 shots on net, 86 hits, 92 blocked shots, 42 PIM and a minus-13 rating through 59 appearances. His defensive struggles this year have put him in danger of losing playing time, especially if the Canucks want to see what they have in Victor Mancini.

  • Kings' Vladislav Gavrikov: Posts helper in shootout loss

Gavrikov notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Blues.

Gavrikov helped out on a Quinton Byfield tally in the first period. With just two helpers over his last nine games, Gavrikov isn't making a large impact on offense, but he's formed a strong shutdown pairing with Mikey Anderson for much of the season. Overall, Gavrikov has three goals, 21 points, 80 shots on net, 34 hits, 117 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 60 appearances.

  • Kings' Mikey Anderson: Manages assist

Anderson logged an assist, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Blues.

Anderson has three points over seven contests since returning from a finger injury. He's also gone plus-3 with 13 hits and 14 blocked shots in that span. Anderson continues to excel in a shutdown role, and he's also providing one of his strongest campaigns on offense with 17 points -- one shy of last year's 74-game total -- through just 56 appearances. Anderson has added 64 shots on net, 81 hits, 97 blocks and a plus-8 rating in 2024-25.

  • Cam Fowler D | STL

Blues' Cam Fowler: Hands out helper

Fowler notched a power-play assist and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.

Fowler had gone three games without a point before he factored on Robert Thomas' game-tying tally in the second period. This was Fowler's first power-play point since his Jan. 20 goal versus the Golden Knights. The 33-year-old defenseman is up to 23 points (four on the power play), 63 shots on net, 76 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 50 appearances between the Blues and Ducks this season.

  • Blues' Colton Parayko: Matches career high in points

Parayko notched an assist and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.

For the fourth time in his 10-year career, Parayko has reached the 35-point mark, doing so in just 62 appearances this season. He also got to the 20-assist threshold for the sixth time when he set up a Jake Neighbours goal in the first period. Barring a disastrous stretch run, this will be the year Parayko gets past 35 points -- he's shooting 12.3 percent and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down with six points over his last six outings. The defenseman is also strong in non-scoring areas with 90 hits, 140 blocked shots, 122 shots on net and a plus-8 rating.

  • Ben Hutton D | LV

Golden Knights' Ben Hutton: Still stuck in press box

Hutton was scratched for the 27th consecutive game in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

While Shea Theodore (arm) has been out of action since sustaining an injury at the 4 Nations Face-Off, it has been Kaedan Korczak and not Hutton in the lineup as the injury replacement. Hutton is assured to play a career-low number of games this season -- he's made just five appearances this season while logging six shots on net, five blocked shots and three hits. The 31-year-old's only path to playing time would be for more injuries to sideline Vegas blueliners.

  • Golden Knights' Kaedan Korczak: Gathers assist in win

Korczak notched an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

Korczak has three helpers over five contests since replacing Shea Theodore (arm) in the lineup after the latter's injury at the 4 Nations Face-Off. There's been no update on a timeline for Theodore beyond the initial week-to-week designation, so Korczak is poised to continue playing on the third pairing. The 24-year-old has six assists, 18 shots on net, 32 hits, 22 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 23 appearances this season.
