  • Brady Skjei D | NSH

Predators' Brady Skjei: Posts assist Tuesday

Skjei notched an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Skjei helped out on Reid Schaefer's game-tying goal in the middle of the second period. The 31-year-old Skjei has two helpers over his last three contests, but he has gone 35 games without a goal. The blueliner is at 19 points, 91 shots on net, 63 blocked shots, 54 hits and a minus-9 rating through 64 appearances in a top-four role this season.

  • Ryan Ufko D | NSH

Predators' Ryan Ufko: Pots first NHL goal

Ufko scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Ufko looked like a seasoned veteran, slaloming through the Kraken's defense to tuck in his first NHL goal. The 22-year-old blueliner has two points, two shots on net and a minus-1 rating over three contests with the Predators so far. Ufko is on the third pairing and second power-play unit, so he's far from a lock to keep producing offense, though his talent is already evident.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Three-game, seven-point streak

Dahlin had three assists in Tuesday's 6-3 win over San Jose.

Dahlin is on a three-game, seven-point scoring streak. He has five PIM and four shots in that span. Dahlin has 60 points in 61 games, a pace that would see him flirt with a career mark in points. His best season came in 2022-23 when he delivered 73 points (15 goals, 58 assists) in 78 games.

  • Janis Moser D | TB

Lightning's J.J. Moser: Four points in last two games

Moser scored a goal Tuesday in a 5-2 loss to Columbus.

It was a point shot through traffic. Moser has four points, including two goals, in his last two games. His two shots Tuesday pushed him to 94 this season -- that's a career high. Moser has seven goals and 17 assists in 61 games this season. Those seven goals equal his career mark, which he set in Arizona in 2022-23.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Earns two points Tuesday

LaCombe scored an empty-net goal on four shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Jets.

LaCombe had a hand in Ryan Poehling's go-ahead goal in the second period, and he added the empty-netter for insurance. This was LaCombe's second multi-point effort in his last three contests. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to eight goals and a career-high 45 points through 64 outings, surpassing his 43-point effort from 75 games a year ago. He's added 128 shots on net, 109 blocked shots, 56 hits and a plus-1 rating this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Five points in last four games

Provorov scored a goal Tuesday in a 5-2 win over the Lightning.

It was his eighth goal. Provorov has five points (two goals, three assists) and nine shots in his last four games. Take advantage. Provorov is on pace for his first 10-goal season since 2019-20.

  • Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Among league's top defenders

Werenski tallied two assists in a 5-2 win over the Lightning on Tuesday.

Both apples came on the power play. Werenski has three assists in his last two games; all three have come with the man advantage. The defender leads the Blue Jackets with 68 points (20 goals, 28 assists) in 57 games. He's second in the NHL in scoring from the blue line, but what makes his output this season even more impressive is that Werenski started the season with just four points (one goal, three assists) in his first eight games. His point-per-game production (1.19) is the NHL's best from the back end.

  • Ty Emberson D | EDM

Oilers' Ty Emberson: Leaves game Tuesday

Emberson (undisclosed) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Avalanche, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.

Emberson had two hits in 5:35 of ice time, but it's not exactly clear when he was injured. If he can't play Thursday versus the Stars, Spencer Stastney will likely get back into the lineup.

  • Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: Unavailable Tuesday

Sergachev (lower body) won't play Tuesday versus the Wild.

Sergachev was a game-time call again Tuesday, but he'll end up missing his fourth straight game. The 27-year-old seems to be close to returning, but it's unclear if he'll be able to shake off this injury in time to face the Blackhawks on Thursday.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Set to miss more time

Gostisbehere (lower body) is expected to miss another couple of games, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports Tuesday

Head coach Rod Brind'Amour didn't sound too concerned about Gostisbehere's availability in the long run, but he indicated the defenseman may be out Thursday versus the Blues and Saturday versus the Lightning. The injury is a recurring one for Gostisbehere, who has been in and out of the lineup multiple times this season. Mike Reilly continues to fill in on the third pairing.
