Matt Roy D | WAS
Capitals' Matt Roy: Nabs helper in return
Roy notched an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Monday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Roy missed three games due to a lower-body injury. The defenseman saw 19:23 of ice time in his return, and with the Olympic break starting later this week, he should soon get plenty of rest if he's not at 100 percent just yet. Roy has put up a goal, 14 helpers, 69 shots on net, 78 hits, 106 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 54 appearances as a regular in the Capitals' top four this season.

Martin Fehervary D | WAS
Capitals' Martin Fehervary: Pots goal in Monday's win
Fehervary scored a goal, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Fehervary tied the game at 1-1 with his goal at 5:29 of the second period. The 26-year-old defenseman missed Saturday's game versus the Hurricanes as he became a father, and he capitalized on the newfound dad strength to snap a 20-game goal drought. For the season, he has produced four goals, 20 points, 59 shots on net, 64 hits, 117 blocked shots, 23 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 56 appearances in a shutdown role.

John Carlson D | ANA
Capitals' John Carlson: Deposits empty-netter
Carlson scored an empty-net goal and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Carlson was able to find the empty cage from his own zone to seal the Capitals' win. The 36-year-old blueliner was excellent in January with a goal and 14 assists over 16 outings, and it looks like his momentum has carried over to February. For the season, he has produced 10 goals, 45 points, 109 shots on net, 78 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 54 appearances.

Uvis Balinskis D | FLA
Panthers' Uvis Balinskis: Snipes on power play
Balinskis scored a goal Monday in a 5-3 loss to the Sabres.
Balinskis scored just 37 seconds when a lucky bounce rebound arrived on his stick in the left circle, and he buried a snap shot over Alex Lyon's glove while on a power play. Balinskis played a team-high 24:57 and fired three shots. He has four goals, eight assists and 51 shots through 46 outings this season.

Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Five-game, 10-point streak
Dahlin put up two assists in a 5-3 win over the Panthers on Monday.
Dahlin's personal scoring streak sits at five games and 10 points (four goals, six assists). The defender has 18 shots, a plus-8 rating, four PIM, six hits and four blocks in that span. Dahlin is now seventh in the NHL in points by a defenseman (46 in 51 games), and he's in a two-way tie for seventh in assists (35).

Daemon Hunt D | MIN
Wild's Daemon Hunt: Takes shot up high Monday
Hunt (upper body) will not finish Monday's game versus the Canadiens, according to Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News.
Per Loucks, Ivan Demidov took a shot that ramped up Hunt's stick and hit the defenseman in the neck. The 23-year-old Hunt immediately went to the locker room and did not return. If he's unable to suit up in the Wild's final game before the Olympic break, which is Wednesday in Nashville, David Jiricek will draw back into the lineup.
-
Thomas Chabot D | OTT
Senators' Thomas Chabot: Available in Pittsburgh
Chabot (undisclosed) will suit up for Monday's game in Pittsburgh.
Chabot departed Saturday's game versus the Devils for precautionary reasons and was deemed a game-time call earlier Monday, but he'll avoid missing the first half of Ottawa's back-to-back set. The left-shot blueliner is set to skate on the No. 2 pairing next to Nick Jensen on Monday.
-
Ryan Graves D | PIT
Penguins' Ryan Graves: Removed from IR
Graves (lower body) was activated off injured reserve Monday.
Graves is far from a lock to get into Monday's matchup against the Senators, but his activation will give Pittsburgh an extra healthy blueliner. Considering the 30-year-old defenseman has just one point in 19 games, few fantasy managers will be impacted by his return.
-
Jacob Bryson D | WPG
Sabres' Jacob Bryson: Removed from IR
Bryson (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.
The Sabres moved Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (lower body) to injured reserve in a corresponding move. Following a four-game absence, Bryson is available to play against Florida on Monday. However, he could be a healthy scratch. He has chipped in two goals, five points, 11 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and nine hits in 33 appearances this season.

Jordan Harris D | BOS
Bruins' Jordan Harris: Back from assignment
Harris (ankle) was recalled from his conditioning stint with AHL Providence and activated off long-term injured reserve Monday, Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site reports.
Harris is far from a lock to play for the Bruins, even with his addition to the roster, as he'll need to edge out the likes of Mason Lohrei or Hampus Lindholm for a spot in the lineup. Still, if Harris gets into the lineup, it will be his first NHL game since Oct. 21 versus the Panthers.
