  • Islanders' Tony DeAngelo: Nabs first NHL point of season

DeAngelo picked up an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.

The much-traveled blueliner helped set up Anders Lee for the game's opening goal early in the second period. It was DeAngelo's first point in two games since joining the Islanders following a KHL stint, and while the Isles didn't get a power-play opportunity Tuesday, he should see a heavy workload with the man advantage as long as Noah Dobson (lower body) and Ryan Pulock (upper body) are on the shelf.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Posts helper in win

Morrissey notched an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens.

Morrissey was initially questionable to play Sunday versus the Flames due to an illness, but he suited up in that game. He looks to be healthy again -- his ice time rebounded to 23:51 Tuesday after he logged 20:24 on Sunday, which was his third-lowest mark of the season. Overall, Morrissey is at 43 points 107 shots on net, 76 blocked shots, 33 hits and a plus-11 rating over 52 appearances this season.

  • Mason Lohrei D | BOS

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Scores in blowout loss

Lohrei scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Sabres.

The goal ended a three-game point drought for the defenseman, who had six points over five contests prior to his slump. With multiple regulars missing, Lohrei was the leading man on Boston's blue line, earning 23:16 of ice time Tuesday despite being listed on the third pairing. His three highest ice-time totals of the year have come in the last two weeks. Lohrei is now at three goals, 23 points, 42 shots on net, 65 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating through 47 appearances.

  • Bowen Byram D | BUF

Sabres' Bowen Byram: Lends helper in win

Byram produced an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Bruins.

Byram has managed a paltry one goal and two assists over 12 contests in January. He's maintained a top-four role throughout the the month despite the lackluster offense. The 23-year-old blueliner is now at five goals, 19 assists, 60 shots on net, 72 blocked shots, 50 hits and a plus-7 rating over 50 appearances.

  • Ben Hutton D | LV

Golden Knights' Ben Hutton: No game action since return

Hutton has been a healthy scratch for 17 straight games after sitting out Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

Hutton missed 16 games while on long-term injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. Prior that absence, he had earned some playing time while the Golden Knights' blue line was banged up, but since he was activated, there have been no significant injuries to Vegas' defensemen. It's not unusual for Hutton to be out of the lineup for long periods of time as a spare defenseman, though he's sharing that status with Kaedan Korczak this season. Hutton has no points, six shots on net, five blocked shots and three hits over five appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Nicolas Hague: Adds helper Tuesday

Hague logged an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

Hague set up Tomas Hertl's tally in the first period. The helper ended a 12-game point drought for Hague, who has maintained a steady third-pairing role during that slump. The defenseman is at a modest six points, 46 shots on net, 53 hits, 41 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 40 appearances this season, so his fantasy upside is limited.

  • Esa Lindell D | DAL

Stars' Esa Lindell: Hands out helper in overtime win

Lindell provided an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

Lindell has a point in each of the last two contests (one goal, one assist). The 30-year-old blueliner could be in line for a larger role if Miro Heiskanen (lower body) misses time after exiting Tuesday's game. Lindell is up to 16 points, 107 blocked shots, 65 shots on net and a plus-16 rating over 50 appearances. He doesn't have a ton of scoring upside, but he can help in fantasy formats that reward his steady defensive play.

  • Kraken's Jamie Oleksiak: Nabs helper in loss

Oleksiak recorded an assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Ducks.

Oleksiak has earned five points over his last 10 contests. The 32-year-old doesn't add much offense, but he's been a stalwart in the Kraken's lineup even with a demotion to the third pairing in recent weeks. Oleksiak is at 12 points, 43 shots on net, 39 hits, 106 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 52 appearances.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Garners two helpers

Montour notched two assists and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Ducks.

Montour ended a nine-game point drought with his pair of helpers, one of which came on the power play. The Kraken's offense has been inconsistent, but it looks bad for Montour compared to his usual level of performance. The blueliner is now at 25 points (seven on the power play), 145 shots on net, 59 blocked shots, 56 hits and a minus-6 rating across 51 appearances.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Fills stat sheet in win

LaCombe scored a goal on two shots, provided an assist, added six PIM and went plus-4 in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Kraken.

LaCombe was one of five players to earn multiple points for the Ducks, contributing both of his in the second period. His tally stood as the game-winner. He also took a minor penalty in each period and has earned 12 PIM as well as nine points over 14 games in January. For the season, the 24-year-old has handled a top-four role well, racking up nine goals, 23 points, 89 shots on net, 74 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-4 rating across 43 appearances.
