Romanov was initially listed as a game-time decision. He is set to return from a three-game absence and should resume his top-pairing role as a shutdown defenseman. He has nine assists, 73 hits and 65 blocked shots over 30 appearances this season.

Liljegren (illness) will miss Saturday's clash against the Islanders, according to Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.
Liljegren has four goals, eight points, 40 hits and 49 blocks in 35 appearances between Toronto and San Jose in 2024-25. Henry Thrun will likely draw into the lineup due to Liljegren's absence.

Letang (illness) will play against Washington on Saturday.
Letang will return to the top pairing and should see power-play time after missing Friday's 5-2 win over Buffalo. He has produced seven goals, 17 points, 92 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and 71 hits in 40 appearances this season. Letang will replace Pierre-Olivier Joseph (illness) in Saturday's lineup.

Letang (illness) will be a game-time decision Saturday versus Washington, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
Letang missed Friday's 5-2 win over Buffalo due to the illness. He has seven goals, 17 points, 18 PIM, 71 hits and 45 blocks in 40 appearances in 2024-25. If Letang returns Saturday, Ryan Graves could be a healthy scratch.

Hamilton scored a goal in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Philadelphia.
Hamilton's sixth tally of 2024-25 opened the scoring at the 2:17 mark of the first period and ended his 19-game goal drought. He didn't have a point in two outings entering Saturday's action following a three-game assist streak. Hamilton has compiled 29 points through 48 outings this season.

Chabot (face) is good to return for Saturday's clash against Boston, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Chabot missed Thursday's 1-0 overtime loss to Washington because of the injury. He has three goals, 19 points, 33 hits and 69 blocks in 43 appearances in 2024-25. Chabot is projected to serve on the second pairing alongside Nick Jensen. Donovan Sebrango, who made his NHL debut Thursday, is expected to be a healthy scratch.

Canucks' Noah Juulsen: Ruled out Saturday
Juulsen (undisclosed) is expected to miss Saturday's contest against the Oilers.
Coach Rick Tocchet said Saturday that Juulsen saw doctors Friday and is considered day-to-day at this time. Juulsen has yet to pick up a point in 32 outings this season but does have 89 hits and 57 blocked shots. Look for Vincent Desharnais to remain in the lineup during Juulsen's absence.

Sergachev will miss Saturday's game versus St. Louis with an upper-body injury.
Sergachev has taken his game to a new level this season while serving as the No. 1 defenseman with Utah. He has eight goals, 22 assists, 72 shots on goal and 81 blocked shots across 44 appearances this season. Look for Nick DeSimone to enter the lineup in place of Sergachev.

Wilsby (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, Nick Kieser of 102.5 ESPN Nashville reports.
Luke Evangelista (lower body) moved to injured reserve in a corresponding move. Following a seven-game absence, Wilsby will return to the lineup against Minnesota on Saturday. He has produced one goal, two assists, 22 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and 10 hits across 15 games this season.
