  • Senators' Travis Hamonic: Out 2-4 weeks

Hamonic (lower body) will be sidelined for 2-4 weeks, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

Hamonic likely suffered the injury in Friday's 4-0 loss to the Blues, when he skated for only 16:45 of ice time. With Hamonic set for an extended absence, Jacob Bernard-Docker figures to see a regular role in Ottawa's lineup.

  • Wild's Carson Lambos: Dropped to minors

Lambos was assigned to AHL Iowa on Sunday.

Lambos has been a healthy scratch for Minnesota in the last three games. He has registered two goals and five points in 27 AHL appearances this season. The 21-year-old defender doesn't have any NHL experience yet.

  • Blue Jackets' Jordan Harris: Finds helper in win

Harris managed an assist in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Blues.

While Harris got on the scoresheet, he saw just 4:32 of ice time as the Blue Jackets remained in a seven-defensemen system. The 24-year-old's limited usage suggests he's in danger of returning to the press box if the team flips back to the traditional 12-forward, six-defensemen alignment. Harris has done little in his first year with the Blue Jackets, picking up three points, 12 shots on net, 17 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 24 appearances.

  • Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Plucks apple in win

Tanev registered an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Bruins.

Tanev has two helpers over five games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The 35-year-old defenseman has chipped in a little offense in addition to his shutdown defensive work over the last month-plus. Overall, he has a goal, 11 assists, 17 shots on net, 111 blocked shots and a plus-16 rating through 39 appearances.

  • Capitals' Trevor van Riemsdyk: Gathers helper Saturday

Van Riemsdyk produced an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.

Van Riemsdyk has logged two helpers, eight blocks and a plus-4 rating over his last five contests. The 33-year-old is seeing consistent third-pairing usage and doesn't appear in danger of losing his spot to Dylan McIlrath. For the season, van Riemsdyk is up to 13 assists -- one shy of last year's total -- while adding 51 shots on net, 77 blocks and a plus-13 rating over 39 games.

  • Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Offers assist in loss

Andersson notched an assist in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators.

Andersson picked up a helper for the second game in a row and the third time in five games. This was just the third time all season the defenseman did not block a shot. The 28-year-old is at 18 points, 74 shots on net, 101 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 39 appearances in a top-four role.

  • Vince Dunn D | SEA

Kraken's Vince Dunn: Garners assist Saturday

Dunn notched an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers.

Dunn has three goals and four assists during his four-game point streak. He set up a Jaden Schwartz tally in the third period. The 28-year-old Dunn is up to 18 points, 42 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 15 hits, 14 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 20 appearances. He continues to handle top-four minutes and power-play time as the Kraken's most efficient scorer on the blue line.

  • Brett Kulak D | COL

Oilers' Brett Kulak: Pockets helper in win

Kulak managed an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Kulak continues to play a larger role than his third-pairing assignment would suggest. It doesn't necessarily lead to more offense, though he has three helpers over his last 12 outings. The 30-year-old defenseman is up to 12 points, 62 shots on net, 60 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 39 appearances. He's on pace for a career year, but offense can be fickle for stay-at-home blueliners like Kulak.

  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Helps out on empty-netter

Bouchard registered an assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Bouchard has a goal and four helpers over his last four contests. The defenseman assisted on Leon Draisaitl's empty-netter Saturday to fend off the Kraken's comeback effort. Bouchard is up to 30 points (seven goals, 23 assists), 98 shots on net, 64 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-10 rating through 39 outings overall.

  • Jake McCabe D | TOR

Maple Leafs' Jake McCabe: Ends goal slump for Leaf defenders

McCabe scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 6-4 win over Boston.

McCabe shot over Jeremy Swayman's blocker from the left hash mark early in the first period. The 31-year-old McCabe didn't have a goal through 34 appearances going into Saturday's contest, and it was the first goal from a Leafs defenseman since Chris Tanev lit the lamp against Tampa Bay on Nov. 30. That's a 16-game drought. McCabe isn't an offensive defender, but he does have 11 points, 71 hits and 68 blocked shots in 2024-25. Still, his hit pace is well off his massive 219 total from last season, so don't expect a return to that level this year.
