  • Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Eight assists in last 10 games

McAvoy had two assists Saturday in a 6-4 loss to the Maple Leafs.

McAvoy hasn't scored a goal in 15 contests, but he does have eight assists in his last 10 games. He has contributed three helpers in his past two outings. McAvoy has frustrated his managers this season, but this recent run may help him redeem himself in fantasy leagues. He won't get anywhere near the kind of production he has delivered in the last three seasons while averaging 52 points, but McAvoy could claw his way to the 40-point mark with continued success.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Nabs power-play helper

Dahlin notched a power-play assist, three shots on goal, three blocked shots, two hits and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

Dahlin has nine assists over his last six games, including a trio of power-play helpers. The 24-year-old defenseman had a shot that led to a Jason Zucker goal on the rebound for the Sabres' lone tally in Saturday's contest. Dahlin is up to 28 points (11 on the power play), 92 shots on net, 47 blocked shots, 37 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 32 appearances in a top-pairing role.

  • Golden Knights' Zach Whitecloud: Adds helper in win

Whitecloud managed an assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres.

Whitecloud has earned three points over five contests. That's a decent stretch for the third-pairing defenseman, but it's unlikely to last. He has five points, 32 shots on net, 49 hits, 51 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 32 appearances this season. Whitecloud is unlikely to be pressured for playing time by Kaedan Korczak, as the Golden Knights rarely make changes on the blue line when their preferred six defensemen are healthy.

  • Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin: Provides helper in win

Hanifin logged an assist, two shots on goal, six blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres.

Hanifin has picked up four points over his last three outings. His helper Saturday was on a Jack Eichel tally in the third period. Hanifin's been at his best over the last three weeks -- he's gone no more than one game without a point since Dec. 14. Overall, the blueliner has six goals, 15 assists, 70 shots on net, 70 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 39 appearances.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

Kraken's Adam Larsson: Dealing with upper-body injury

Larsson is dealing with an upper-body injury sustained in Saturday's game versus the Oilers, and head coach Dan Bylsma said the team will "have to see how it reacts," Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Larsson is questionable at best to play Monday versus the Devils. The Kraken seem likely to call up an extra blueliner from AHL Coachella Valley as insurance prior to that contest. Ryker Evans would likely pick up extra ice time to help cover Larsson's potential absence.

  • Cale Makar D | COL

Avalanche's Cale Makar: Provides power-play helper

Makar had a power-play assist, one shot on net, three blocks and one hit in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to Montreal.

Colorado's big dogs combined for the team's lone goal. Makar picked up the secondary assist before Nathan MacKinnon set up Mikko Rantanen midway through the first period. Makar has points (two goals, two assists) in three consecutive outings. Both he and MacKinnon have heated up since the beginning of December, which coincided with the Avalanche's best stretch of the season. Makar has 17 points while MacKinnon has 22 over the last 15 games, during which the Avs are 11-4-0.

  • Kaiden Guhle D | MON

Canadiens' Kaiden Guhle: Supports rookie goalie

Guhle logged one shot on net, five hits, two PIM and nine blocks in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over Colorado.

Guhle had gone three consecutive games without a block but sacrificed himself for rookie goalie Jakub Dobes on Saturday. The nine blocks were a season high and upped his total to 81, second on the club behind David Savard (90).

  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Nets lone goal in loss

Hedman scored a goal on four shots, blocked four shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Kings.

Hedman ended a 17-game goal drought dating back to Nov. 16 with his tally 1:09 into the game. Over that span, he racked up 12 assists and remains productive across the board in a top-pairing role. The Swede is up to five goals, 29 points, 77 shots on net, 60 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 34 contests this season.

  • Blues' Colton Parayko: Milestone game and career pace

Parayko scored a goal in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Columbus.

It was Parayko's 700th NHL game, all with St. Louis. He's the third defenseman and eighth player to appear in as many games with the Blues. Parayko's average ice time is at an all-time high this season (24:32), and the defender is thriving as a minute muncher. He has two goals and five assists in his last six games, and his seven goals and 16 points in 41 appearances this season put him on pace for career highs in goals, assists and points. He'll also give you about 1.5 hits and almost 2.5 blocks per game, so Parayko is a solid play in deep leagues, as long as his lack of power-play production (no points) doesn't hurt.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

Kraken's Adam Larsson: Exits with injury

Larsson (undisclosed) will not finish Saturday's game versus the Oilers.

The nature of Larsson's injury was not revealed, but he was hurt late in the second period. If the 32-year-old defenseman is forced to miss time, the Kraken will likely need to make a roster move. Gustav Olofsson or Cale Fleury are usually the team's top options to summon from AHL Coachella Valley when there's an injury concern for the NHL defense corps.
