Mikey Anderson D | LA
Kings' Mikey Anderson: Scores in Saturday's win
Anderson scored a goal on five shots, blocked five shots and added three hits in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Lightning.
Anderson has three points over two games to begin January, matching his output from all of December. He's scored at least one goal in each month of the campaign so far, which is solid work for a defensive blueliner. The 25-year-old has tied his career high with five goals while adding eight assists, 47 shots on net, 59 hits, 64 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-12 rating over 38 appearances this season.

Lane Hutson D | MON
Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Finds scoresheet in win
Hutson logged an assist, two shots on net, one block and one hit in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over the Avalanche.
Hutson quickly turned a Colorado offensive-zone turnover into a 2-on-1 opportunity for Montreal that resulted in a Cole Caufield tally. The helper snapped a four-game point drought for the rookie blueliner. Despite the mini-drought, Hutson remains third in the league among rookies with 27 points over 39 outings.

Cam Fowler D | STL
Blues' Cam Fowler: Gets 100th career goal
Fowler scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-4 loss to Columbus on Saturday.
It was his 100th goal. Fowler has really stepped into his role in St Louis, and he's rewarded managers with nine points (four goals, five assists) across 11 games in his new uniform. Sure, his 21.1 shooting percentage is completely unsustainable, but that shouldn't stop you from rolling him until this bubble eventually bursts.

Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Home scoring streak at 15 games
Werenski picked up two assists Saturday in a 6-4 win over the Blues.
Werenski extended his home point streak to 15 games (nine goals, 21 assists). His stretch pass to Adam Fantilli early in the third was flat-out filthy -- he fired it from behind his own net and laid a perfect bounce off the right-wing boards to Fantilli, who was at the St. Louis blue line. Werenski sits second in the NHL in scoring from the blue line with 45 points in 40 games and second in goals (12), too. He's having a Norris-caliber season; let's hope voters don't overlook him because of his jersey.

Colin Miller D | WPG
Jets' Colin Miller: Sustains injury Saturday
Miller did not return to Saturday's game versus the Red Wings after getting hit in the throat with a puck, John Lu of TSN reports.
Miller will be evaluated further Sunday. If he can't play, Dylan Coghlan is likely to enter the lineup Tuesday versus the Predators. Miller has just one assist over his last 11 games while filling a third-pairing role.

Ivan Provorov D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Second three-assist game of career
Provorov set up three goals in a 6-4 win over the Blues on Saturday.
It was the second three-assist game of Provorov's career. He has four helpers in his last two appearances. Provorov's offensive production is looking a lot like his 2023-24 when he finished with 32 points, but he's blocking a lot fewer shots this season. With 50 in 39 games so far, Provorov is on pace for the lowest total in that category in his nine-year NHL career. The same goes for shots -- this will be the first season he fails to crack 100 unless he picks up the pace. These games are nice, but Provorov is hard to roster if his secondary stats are in decline. The offense isn't enough.

Victor Hedman D | TB
Lightning's Victor Hedman: Set to play
Hedman (head) is expected to play Saturday versus the Kings, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports.
Hedman was injured in the third period of Thursday's game against the Sharks, but it doesn't look like the issue will cost him additional time. The 34-year-old defenseman is slated to play on the top pairing and first power-play unit. Hedman has been limited to three assists over his last seven contests since returning from a lower-body injury Dec. 17.

Cody Ceci D | LA
Sharks' Cody Ceci: Nets winner with seconds left
Ceci scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Devils.
Ceci played hero with the game-winning goal with 25 seconds left in the third period. He fired a one-timer from a step inside the blue line that hit Jacob Markstrom's glove and trickled into the net. Ceci now has 11 points (three goals, eight assists), 73 blocks, 46 shots and 43 hits in 42 games this season.

Martin Fehervary D | WAS
Capitals' Martin Fehervary: Notches two points
Fehervary registered two assists while logging 18:50 of ice time during Saturday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.
The defensive defenseman posted a rare two-point effort and has managed a healthy four points over his last eight games. The 25-year-old is an invaluable defensive presence for the Capitals. Fantasy managers in standard formats will likely need more consistent offensive production from Fehervary to consider him a fantasy-relevant option.

Jakob Chychrun D | WAS
Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Bags two apples
Chychrun tallied an even-strength assist, a power-play helper and three shots in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.
Chychrun has been a revelation since arriving in an offseason trade with Ottawa, having posted 11 goals and 27 points in 34 games. He has registered six points in his last five outings. The 26-year-old is a must-start as he builds a compelling case for a hefty contract extension between now and potentially heading to unrestricted free agency this summer.
