  • Sharks' Mario Ferraro: Goal, fight in win

Ferraro scored a goal on two shots and added five PIM in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Lightning.

Ferraro fought Mitchell Chaffee early in the second period. After serving his time, Ferraro scored at 12:55 of the frame, and that goal stood as the game-winner. The veteran defenseman didn't earn a point over 13 games in December, but he's no stranger to playing a tough style. He has three goals, four assists, 40 shots on net, 28 PIM, 96 hits and 61 blocked shots over 41 appearances this season in a top-four role.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Earns 200th career helper

Montour provided a power-play assist, fired three shots on goal, added two PIM and doled out two hits in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Montour ended a four-game slump with the helper. That dry spell matched his longest of the season, though more notably, he is 19 games removed from his last multi-point effort. The 30-year-old blueliner is up to eight goals, 14 assists, six power-play points, 109 shots on net, 45 hits, 44 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 38 appearances. He remains firmly in a top-four role.

  • Vince Dunn D | SEA

Kraken's Vince Dunn: Two points in shootout loss

Dunn scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Dunn has enjoyed playing the Canucks recently, earning five points over two games against them within the last week. His third-period tally Thursday salvaged a standings point for the Kraken in this contest, which saw them overcome a two-goal deficit. Dunn is up to eight goals, 17 points, 40 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 19 appearances this season. Near point-per-game defensemen don't grow on trees, so make sure he's in your lineups.

  • Canucks' Derek Forbort: Produces helper Thursday

Forbort notched an assist and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Kraken.

Forbort has two helpers over his last three games. The 32-year-old defenseman is gaining responsibility while Quinn Hughes (undisclosed) and Filip Hronek (lower body) are out, though Forbort is unlikely to turn into a dynamic scorer. For the season, the Minnesota native has three assists, six shots on net, 14 blocked shots, 13 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 11 outings.

  • Tyler Myers D | DAL

Canucks' Tyler Myers: Scores in Thursday's shootout win

Myers scored a goal on five shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Kraken.

Myers ended his 21-game goal drought with a third-period tally. He had just five assists in that span. The 34-year-old defenseman has a chance to carve out some short-term fantasy value while Quinn Hughes (undisclosed) and Filip Hronek (lower body) are both sidelined. Myers was on the top power-play unit Thursday since Erik Brannstrom was a healthy scratch. For the season, Myers has just nine points with 37 shots on net, 31 PIM, 43 hits, 66 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 37 appearances. While the offense hasn't been encouraging, he may benefit from being more involved for a while, as long as he can maintain his newfound power-play time.

  • Golden Knights' Brayden McNabb: Collects assist in Thursday's win

McNabb notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

McNabb has chipped in four points and a plus-8 rating over his last six games. The 33-year-old defenseman helped out on Pavel Dorofeyev's game-winning goal late in the second period of Thursday's victory. McNabb is up to seven points, a plus-23 rating, 49 shots on net, 57 hits and 87 blocked shots through 38 outings overall while playing a shutdown role in Vegas' top four.

  • Golden Knights' Alex Pietrangelo: Generates helper in win

Pietrangelo notched an assist, two hits and four blocked shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Pietrangelo has five assists and a plus-4 rating over his last four contests. The defenseman helped out on an Alexander Holtz tally in the third period of this game. Pietrangelo continues to log top-four minutes, and he's up to 21 points, 66 shots on net, 63 blocked shots, 29 hits and a plus-17 rating through 35 outings this season. He helps in enough categories to be a solid fantasy blueliner.

  • Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Adds assist Thursday

Theodore notched an assist and went plus-3 in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Theodore has four helpers over his last five contests. The 29-year-old blueliner set up Pavel Dorofeyev's tally late in the second period, which stood as the game-winner. Theodore continues to impress on offense with 31 points (12 on the power play), 69 shots on net, 48 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 37 appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin: Keeps rolling with two assists

Hanifin notched two assists, four blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Hanifin has three goals and five helpers over his last nine outings. He's also gone plus-10 in that span without taking a negative rating in any of those games. The defenseman is up to 20 points (six goals, 14 assists), 68 shots on net, 64 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 38 contests this season. Hanifin's capable of putting up strong numbers, so he should be in most fantasy lineups while he's being productive.

  • Artem Zub D | OTT

Senators' Artem Zub: Returns to action

Zub (foot) returned to action Thursday in a 4-2 loss to Dallas. He played 13:30 with one blocked shot and one shot on goal.

Zub hadn't played since Nov. 23. He had his best season in 2023-24 with 25 points (five goals), but he has just two assists in 12 games so far this year. Zub shouldn't be a priority waiver-wire target at this point, but fantasy managers who need some hits and blocks should keep his name in mind for their last roster spot as the season progresses.
