  • Golden Knights' Nicolas Hague: Scores go-ahead goal

Hague scored a goal on three shots and blocked three shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Hague has scored twice over the last six games, adding a plus-4 rating and 13 shots on net in that span. The 26-year-old defenseman buried a wraparound at 2:13 of the second period, and the Golden Knights never looked back after that go-ahead goal. Hague has three goals, two assists, 33 shots on net, 35 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 27 outings this season. His upside is limited since he's firmly in a third-pairing role.

  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Injured late in loss

Hedman left Thursday's game against the Sharks after he was struck in the head by a puck in the third period. There was no update on his status after the contest, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Hedman missed a few minutes late in the third period, but without a status update from head coach Jon Cooper, it's unclear whether the blueliner will be healthy for Saturday's game against the Kings. He was held off the scoresheet for a third straight contest Thursday. The Lightning will need to call up a defenseman if Hedman can't play, so keep an eye on the team's transactions over the next couple of days.

  • Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Produces assist

Weegar notched an assist, seven hits, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 loss to Utah.

Weegar helped out on Connor Zary's goal in the second period. With four helpers and a plus-4 rating over the last five games, Weegar's play has been trending in the right direction after a six-game slump in the middle of December. He's at 20 points, 81 shots on net, 108 hits, 90 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 38 contests overall.

  • Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Picks up power-play helper

Andersson logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 loss to Utah.

Andersson has two helpers over his last four games, and both have come on the power play. He has just four points over his last 15 appearances, but as long as he remains involved with the man advantage, he'll have a decent chance of turning things around. The 28-year-old blueliner is at six goals, 11 assists, 73 shots on net, 100 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 38 contests this season.

  • Flames' Brayden Pachal: Tallies in loss

Pachal scored a goal on two shots, doled out two hits, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-3 loss to Utah.

Pachal snapped an eight-game point drought, which came after his only other goal this season. The 25-year-old defenseman has rarely made an impact on offense, but he brings toughness to his third-pairing spot. Pachal has three points, 36 shots on net, 51 PIM, 88 hits, 40 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 38 appearances this season.

  • Ian Cole D | UTA

Hockey Club's Ian Cole: Nabs helper Thursday

Cole notched an assist and three blocked shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Flames.

Cole has earned three helpers over his last five contests, and he's added 11 blocked shots in that span. The 35-year-old defenseman continues to absorb heavy minutes in a top-four shutdown role. He's at 11 points -- matching his total from 78 regular-season outings with the Canucks last year -- and has added 40 shots on net, 41 PIM, 44 hits, 105 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 38 appearances in 2024-25. If Cole maintains his current pace, he could earn his first 20-point campaign since 2019-20.

  • Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Helps out on empty-netter

Sergachev notched an assist, three shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Flames.

Sergachev finished with a positive rating for the first time in five games. The 26-year-old defenseman piled up points in December, earning two goals and nine assists over 13 contests, and it doesn't look like he'll be slowing down. Overall, he's at eight goals, 20 helpers, 64 shots on net, 73 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 38 appearances in a top-pairing role.

  • Olli Maatta D | CGY

Hockey Club's Olli Maatta: Provides two helpers in win

Maatta notched two assists and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Flames.

Maatta earned his first multi-point effort as a member of Utah. The 30-year-old defenseman helped out on goals by Clayton Keller and Lawson Crouse early in the third period. Maatta is up to seven assists, 29 shots on net, 73 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 35 appearances between Utah and Detroit this season, though all of his point production has come with the Hockey Club.

  • Islanders' Scott Mayfield: Rare goal for defensive defender

Mayfield scored the Islanders' only goal Thursday in a 2-1 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Mayfield isn't known for his scoring -- it's his second goal and seventh point in 38 games. He is more likely to deliver blocks (67) and hits (63) for those in deep, multi-categorical leagues.

  • Islanders' Isaiah George: Going through concussion protocol

George is in the concussion protocol after taking an elbow to the head in the second period of Thursday's game versus the Maple Leafs, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

No further update was made available on George's status. He was hit by Max Domi in the second and didn't not return to the game. If George can't play Sunday in Boston, Dennis Cholowski will likely enter the lineup.
