Radko Gudas D | ANA
Ducks' Radko Gudas: Buries goal Friday
Gudas scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Friday's 6-5 shootout win over the Canadiens.
Gudas had gone 39 games without a goal, and he had just one helper over his previous 11 contests. The 35-year-old blueliner rarely adds much offense, but he was able to get a puck through at 11:56 of the first period, tying this game at 2-2. The defenseman is up to 12 points, 57 shots on net, 153 hits, 81 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 49 appearances. Gudas will likely play regularly on the third pairing once John Carlson (lower body) makes his Ducks debut.

Jackson LaCombe D | ANA
Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Collects two points in shootout win
LaCombe scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Friday's 6-5 shootout win over the Canadiens.
LaCombe had gone 27 games without a goal prior to his second-period tally Friday. Despite the lack of goals, he had 10 assists over his prior 11 contests to maintain a steady presence on offense in addition to his strong defense. The 25-year-old blueliner is up to seven goals, 36 assists, 14 power-play points, 124 shots on net, 106 blocked shots, 55 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 62 appearances. LaCombe is likely to remain the Ducks' top overall blueliner, but he may lose some power-play minutes to John Carlson (lower body), who was traded from the Capitals prior to Friday's deadline.

Nolan Allan D | SJ
Sharks' Nolan Allan: Set for call-up
Allan will be recalled from AHL San Jose prior to Saturday's game versus the Islanders, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Allan has produced 16 points in 49 AHL appearances between the Barracuda and AHL Rockford this season. He was traded from the Blackhawks in January. Allan's promotion comes as the Sharks partially cleared a logjam on their blue line by sending Timothy Liljegren to the Capitals on Friday, so it's not yet clear if Allan will get steady playing time in the NHL.

Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Departs game Friday
Gostisbehere (lower body) won't finish Friday's game versus the Oilers.
Gostisbehere has been hounded by the injury bug all season, so this isn't a positive sign. Gostisbehere had a goal in 4:01 of ice time prior to his exit. His status for Saturday versus the Flames is uncertain, but Mike Reilly will draw in if Gostisbehere can't suit up.

Henry Brzustewicz D | LA
Kings' Henry Brzustewicz: Four assists in OHL blowout win
Brzustewicz registered four assists in OHL London's 10-2 win over Erie on Friday.
With the effort, Brzustewicz reached the 50-point mark on the season. He has 12 points over 11 contests in February, but he's already earned six points in three games in March. The Kings prospect now has 17 goals, 33 helpers, 212 shots on net, 55 PIM and a minus-13 rating for the Knights this season.

Colton Parayko D | STL
Blues' Colton Parayko: Absent from lineup Friday
Parayko (back) won't be in the lineup Friday versus the Sharks, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
The Blues traded Justin Faulk to the Red Wings on Friday, and they didn't have the time to make a call-up on defense with Parayko still sidelined. As such, they'll dress 13 forwards and just five blueliners in this contest. Parayko's status for Sunday's game in Anaheim has yet to be determined.

Adam Ginning D | PHI
Flyers' Adam Ginning: Returns to minors
Ginning was sent to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Moving Ginning to the minors maintains his eligibility for the AHL playoffs. Ginning has no points, two shots, four hits and five blocks in five appearances with the Flyers in 2025-26. He also has a goal, four points and 20 PIM in 31 outings with Lehigh Valley this season.
-
Josh Morrissey D | WPG
Jets' Josh Morrissey: Removed from IR
Morrissey (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Friday.
Following a five-game absence, Morrissey appears ready to return to the lineup against Vancouver on Saturday. He has accounted for 10 goals, 42 points, 104 shots on net and 94 blocked shots across 56 appearances this season.
-
Timothy Liljegren D | WAS
Capitals' Timothy Liljegren: Traded at deadline
Liljegren was flipped to the Capitals from the Sharks on Friday in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick.
Liljegren isn't exactly an offensive stud, so he's far from a replacement for John Carlson, who was sent to Anaheim in a separate deal late Thursday night. Still, there should be an open roster spot on the back end for the 26-year-old Liljegren, where he figures to serve in a shutdown role.

Dennis Cholowski D | NJ
Devils' Dennis Cholowski: Summoned from AHL
Cholowski was recalled from AHL Utica on Friday.
Cholowski has five assists in 13 AHL outings this season. He also has one helper, 10 shots on goal and 15 blocked shots in 15 NHL appearances during the 2025-26 campaign.
