Alex Nedeljkovic G | SJ
Penguins' Alex Nedeljkovic: Gets hook Saturday
Nedeljkovic gave up five goals on 17 shots before being replaced by Tristan Jarry midway through the second period of Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Senators.
Nothing went right for Nedeljkovic on the afternoon -- Ottawa's first goal deflected in off Noel Acciari's stick, and two others came after the ref arguably should have blown the play dead. On the other hand, the 29-year-old netminder left his five-hole wide open on a Shane Pinto shorthanded tally late in the first period. Nedeljkovic has started five of the last seven games but hasn't done much with the opportunity, going 2-2-1 with a 3.83 GAA and .884 save percentage as the Penguins continue to search for some stability in net.

Leevi Merilainen G | OTT
Senators' Leevi Merilainen: Collects first career shutout
Merilainen made 29 saves in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Penguins.
Ottawa scored three times in the first period, so the only real suspense in the game came from whether Merilainen would be able to secure his first NHL shutout. The 22-year-old has played well overall since making his season debut in late December, going 3-2-0 in five outings with a 2.42 GAA and .911 save percentage. With Linus Ullmark (back) still lacking a timeline for his return, Merilainen should continue splitting the workload in the crease with Anton Forsberg for the Senators.

Jet Greaves G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Reassigned to AHL
Greavs was reassigned to AHL Cleveland on Sunday.
Greaves was stellar in a win Saturday, stopping 31 of 32 shots against St. Louis. However, the 23-year-old netminder will return to the AHL a day later with Daniil Tarasov returning from a conditioning assignment. Greaves has made five NHL appearances this year, going 2-1-2 with a .906 save percentage and 2.98 GAA.

Daniil Tarasov G | FLA
Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Back from conditioning loan
Tarasov was recalled from his conditioning assignment with AHL Cleveland on Sunday.
Columbus assigned Jet Greaves to the minors in a corresponding move. During his conditioning stint, Tarasov surrendered six goals on 65 shots in two AHL outings en route to a 1-1-0 record. He has a 3-6-1 record with a 4.23 GAA and an .857 save percentage in 10 NHL appearances this season. Tarasov will probably continue to occupy the backup role behind Elvis Merzlikins.

Jordan Binnington G | STL
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Suffers another loss
Binnington stopped 28 of 30 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Binnington looked solid between the pipes Saturday, but he didn't get enough support from the offense in this one. As a result, he took a loss for the second straight appearance, and for the third time over his last five starts. The 31-year-old has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.70 GAA and an .893 save percentage during that five-game stretch despite allowing two or fewer goals three times.

Jet Greaves G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Excellent in win Saturday
Greaves stopped 31 of 32 shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Blues.
Greaves has made five starts over the Blue Jackets' last eight games, and he has won the last two after starting that stretch 0-1-2. He has been hit or miss over that stretch, posting a save percentage below .880 three times but above .940 in the other two. He'll continue to battle for playing time in a crowded Columbus crease that tends to lean on the hot hand.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Posts 22-save shutout
Ersson recorded 22 saves in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Ducks.
Ersson was coming off a subpar display in a 4-1 loss to Dallas on Thursday, but he bounced back admirably to record his second shutout over his last three appearances. He needed only 15 saves to shut out the Sharks on Dec. 31 in a 4-0 win. Ersson has gone 10-7-2 with a 2.86 GAA and an .888 save percentage across 21 appearances this season.

John Gibson G | DET
Ducks' John Gibson: Woeful showing Saturday
Gibson stopped 24 of 30 shots in Saturday's 6-0 loss to the Flyers.
Gibson didn't have a good performance between the pipes Saturday and allowed a season-high mark in goals while posting his lowest single-game save percentage of 2024-25. The 31-year-old is winless in his last three appearance, posting a 0-1-1 record with a 3.51 GAA and an .880 save percentage.

David Rittich G | NYI
Kings' David Rittich: Takes narrow loss Saturday
Rittich allowed two goals on 18 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Calgary.
Rittich took his third loss in his last four starts, a span in which he's allowed 11 goals on 85 shots. The 32-year-old netminder couldn't get the better of his former team despite another strong defensive effort by the Kings. Rittich is now at 11-9-0 with a 2.52 GAA and an .887 save percentage over 21 appearances. The Kings' road trip continues in Edmonton on Monday, but Darcy Kuemper will likely be in goal for the next few games since there are no back-to-back sets on the schedule over the next week.

Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Steady in Saturday's win
Wolf stopped 31 of 32 shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Kings.
The Kings played their usual possession game, but Wolf was up to the challenge. The 23-year-old gave up a goal to defenseman Jacob Moverare on a turnover in the first period, but he was otherwise in control and allowed Calgary to overcome that hiccup. This was Wolf's fifth win in his last six starts, though this was also his toughest matchup in that span. He's now at 14-6-2 with a 2.53 GAA and a .916 save percentage through 22 games this season. A four-game road trip is up next, and Wolf is likely to split the next two starts with Dan Vladar, as Calgary visits Chicago on Monday and St. Louis on Tuesday in a back-to-back.
