Hill is expected to start on the road against Anaheim on Sunday, per SinBin.vegas.
Akira Schmid will play between the pipes at home against Seattle on Saturday. Head coach Bruce Cassidy wants to maintain a rotation between the two goaltenders until the Olympic break. That could give Schmid the start at home against Vancouver on Wednesday, while Hill might be in line to play at home against the Kings on Thursday. The 29-year-old Hill has a 3-2-3 record, 3.56 GAA and .855 save percentage in 10 appearances in 2025-26. Anaheim won seven straight games from Jan. 13 to Jan. 25, but the Ducks have dropped their past two while being outscored 9-2 over those losses.

Bjorklund was recalled from AHL Hershey on Saturday.
Washington placed Charlie Lindgren (lower body) on injured reserve in a corresponding move. With Logan Thompson (upper body) also dealing with an injury, Bjorklund or Clay Stevenson could start Saturday's home game against Carolina.

Washington recalled Garin Bjorklund from AHL Hershey in a corresponding move. Lindgren suffered the injury in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over Detroit and won't return before the Olympic break. He has gone 8-6-3 this season with a 3.37 GAA, an .884 save percentage and one shutout in 18 appearances.

He has gone 8-9-1 this season with a 3.19 GAA and an .888 save percentage across 18 appearances. Florida sits 20th in the league with 3.04 goals during the 2025-26 campaign.

Contrary to a previous report, Hellebuyck won't start against Florida on Saturday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.
Eric Comrie will get the start instead. Hellebuyck has a 13-15-6 record, 2.71 GAA and .902 save percentage in 34 appearances in 2025-26. It wouldn't be surprising if Hellebuyck gets back between the pipes Monday in Dallas.

Saros is slated to guard the road goal against the Islanders on Saturday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday.
Saros has lost his last two outings (0-1-1) while stopping 51 of the 58 shots he has faced. He has a 20-17-4 record in 2025-26 with a 3.04 GAA and an .895 save percentage through 41 appearances. The Islanders rank 24th in the league with 2.83 goals per game this season.
