  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Projected starter Thursday

Greaves is slated to guard the home cage versus Dallas on Thursday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Greaves has won his last two starts and came on in relief Tuesday versus the Senators, turning aside 12 of 13 shots. Overall, the 24-year-old netminder is 14-12-6 with a 2.70 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 33 appearances this season. The Stars are tied for seventh in NHL scoring, generating 3.32 goals per game in 2025-26.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Keeps winning streak alive

Vejmelka stopped 25 of 29 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Flyers.

Vejmelka has been on fire of late and has won each of his last seven starts, and nine of his last 10 dating back to Dec. 21. Over that 10-game sample, Vejmelka has given up more than three goals just twice while posting a 2.29 GAA and an impressive .912 save percentage. Fantasy managers should continue to trust Vejmelka every time he steps on the ice, even if his winning streak looks bound to come to an end sooner rather than later.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Beaten five times Wednesday

Ersson stopped 22 of 27 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Ersson was beaten twice in the second period, twice more in the third, and later midway through overtime. He's been slumping of late and has lost in four of his six outings in January, going 1-3-1 with a 4.30 GAA and a disappointing .828 save percentage. With Dan Vladar (lower body) nearing a return to action, Ersson will likely lose his starting role, and fantasy managers would be wise to look at other options between the pipes, given how much the 26-year-old Swede has been struggling in recent weeks.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Beaten once in shootout loss

Wedgewood stopped 16 of 17 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Wedgewood has posted a 3-2-1 record in six appearances in January, but he's been far better than his record indicates. He's yet to allow more than three goals in any of those outings and has posted a save percentage above the .900 mark four times. Fantasy managers should continue to trust him every time he's tabbed to start regardless of the opposition.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Delivers 40-save performance

Dostal stopped 40 of 41 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Avalanche.

Dostal played a key role in the shootout win Wednesday, and he was only beaten by a snap shot from Artturi Lehkonen in the third frame. Dostal has posted a save percentage of at least .925 in three of his last four starts and owns a 2.69 GAA, as well as a 4-3-0 record and a .910 save percentage, across eight outings in January.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Tough loss in Vancouver

Thompson allowed four goals on 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Considering the opponent, this wasn't a great loss to take for Thompson. It's worse than it looks as well, as the Capitals scored the first two goals of the game before the Canucks worked their way back into it. Thompson has lost three straight games, surrendering 10 goals on 80 shots in that span. He's down to a 17-15-4 record with a 2.43 GAA and a .913 save percentage over 36 starts. The Capitals have a back-to-back on the schedule next, visiting the Flames on Friday and the Oilers on Saturday, so look for Thompson and Charlie Lindgren to split those games.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Overcomes shaky start

Lankinen stopped 29 of 32 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 over the Capitals.

Lankinen gave up a pair of power-play goals before the 10-minute mark of the first period. Given his recent play, it would have been fair to count him and the Canucks out, but the offense rallied, and Lankinen allowed just one goal the rest of the way to snap a six-game winless stretch. The 30-year-old had allowed 19 goals on 173 shots (.890 save percentage) in that span. He's now at a 7-14-4 record with a 3.39 GAA and an .887 save percentage through 26 appearances this season. The Canucks are back in action at home versus the Devils on Friday.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Takes loss in Seattle

Sorokin stopped 21 of 24 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Kraken. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

The Islanders scored first, but they only scored once, giving Sorokin insufficient support. The 30-year-old netminder has won four of his last six outings, but he's given up at least three goals in four of those games. He's now at a 16-12-2 record with a 2.51 GAA and a .914 save percentage over 30 starts. He still has a heavy workload, which fantasy managers could be satisfied with, but the results have been inconsistent lately. The Islanders' next game is at home Saturday versus the Sabres.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Back in win column Wednesday

Grubauer allowed one goal on 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Grubauer had lost his last two outings, giving up eight goals on 56 shots in those contests. The 34-year-old bounced back well Wednesday, limiting the Islanders to an Anthony Duclair power-play goal just 2:38 into the game. Grubauer is up to 10-4-3 with a 2.37 GAA and a .919 save percentage over 19 appearances. The Kraken's next game is Friday at home versus the Ducks, which will likely be a start for Joey Daccord.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Yields four goals in loss

Wolf stopped 21 of 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Penguins.

Wolf has slipped into a timeshare over the last week or so amid a rough stretch that has seen him lose six of his past seven starts. He's given up four goals in each loss in that span. For the season, the 24-year-old netminder is down to 15-20-2 with a 3.00 GAA and an .898 save percentage. If the workload pattern continues, Devin Cooley would likely start Friday against the Capitals, while Wolf could be tentatively in line for a home start versus the Ducks on Sunday.
