  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Drawing Game 2 start

Wallstedt will start Monday's Game 2 on the road against Dallas, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.

Wallstedt was sharp during Saturday's Game 1 victory, making 27 saves in a 6-1 victory. He'll have another opportunity to patrol the crease Monday as the Wild attempt to secure a 2-0 lead in the series. Wallstedt has picked up wins in five of his last six starts dating back to late March, going 5-1-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .940 save percentage during that time.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: In goal for Game 2

Oettinger will patrol the crease at home for Game 2 against Minnesota, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Oettinger was shelled in Game 1, giving up five goals on 28 shots (.821 save percentage) in a 6-1 defeat. During the regular season, the 27-year-old backstop went 35-12-6 with a 2.59 GAA and four shutouts in 54 appearances. Even with the poor performance in Game 1, Oettinger is unlikely to see himself dropped from the starting role in favor of Casey DeSmith.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Set to face Ducks in Game 1

Ingram will patrol the home crease against Anaheim on Monday in Game 1, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Ingram is in line to make his fourth NHL playoff start. He went 0-3-0 and allowed 14 goals on 161 shots in four appearances with Nashville during the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Ingram had a 16-10-3 record with two shutouts, a 2.60 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 32 appearances with Edmonton during the 2025-26 regular season.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Starting Game 2

Skinner will protect the home net in Game 2 against Philadelphia on Monday, per Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site.

Skinner is coming off a 17-save effort in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Flyers in Game 1. If the Penguins fall behind 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, head coach Dan Muse might give Arturs Silovs a turn to start Game 3 in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Exits ice first Monday

Andersen was the first goalie to leave the ice Monday, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports, indicating he'll be between the pipes at home for Game 2 on Monday.

Considering Andersen secured a 22-save shutout in Game 1, there was little question that he would get the nod for Game 2. Going back to the start of April, the 36-year-old netminder is 4-1-0 with a 1.81 GAA and .921 save percentage over five appearances. At this point, Andersen seems to have cemented himself as the No. 1 option in Carolina.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Sharp in Game 1 win

Wedgewood turned aside 24 of 25 shots Sunday during the Avalanche's 2-1 win over the Kings in Game 1 of their first-round series.

In his first career playoff start, Wedgewood nearly produced a shutout before Artemi Panarin got a puck past him on a Los Angeles power play with less than three minutes left in the third period. The 33-year-old netminder hasn't given up more than three goals in an outing since the Olympic break, and he's been all but unbeatable in April, going 5-1-0 with a microscopic 0.73 GAA and .967 save percentage. Wedgewood should be back in the crease for Game 2 on Tuesday.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Tough loss to Avs in Game 1

Forsberg made 28 saves on 30 shots Sunday during the Kings' 2-1 loss to the Avalanche in Game 1 of their first-round series.

The veteran netminder played well, but Los Angeles' offense couldn't solve Scott Wedgewood until there was less than three minutes left in the third period. Forsberg hasn't allowed more than three goals in an outing in over a month, posting a stellar 1.67 GAA and .940 save percentage over his last nine appearances as he seized the No. 1 job in the Kings' crease from Darcy Kuemper. Forsberg will likely be between the pipes again in Game 2 on Tuesday.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Loses playoff debut

Vejmelka stopped 27 of 30 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 1. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Vejmelka worked hard to get the Mammoth to the playoffs, but there will be no easy matchups the rest of the way. This was the 29-year-old's first taste of postseason action. He went 38-20-3 with a 2.75 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 64 regular-season outings. Vejmelka was also on Czechia's Olympic roster, though he didn't get to play a game during that tournament. Barring a truly awful performance, Vejmelka should be expected to see the vast majority of the starts during Utah's first playoff run as a franchise.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Keeps Mammoth in check in Game 1

Hart stopped 32 of 34 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Mammoth in Game 1.

Hart has yet to lose since returning from a lower-body injury that cost him more than two months of games. The 27-year-old's winning ways have given him the No. 1 job between the pipes for Vegas to begin the postseason, which has a Stanley Cup champion on the roster in Adin Hill should Hart falter. This is just the second time Hart has gotten into the playoffs -- he went 9-5 with a 2.23 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 14 games for the Flyers in the bubble in 2020.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Allows three goals in loss

Swayman stopped 34 of 37 shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Sabres in Game 1. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Swayman had his hands full and couldn't hold the fort as the Sabres rallied in the third period. The Bruins pulled him late in the contest, and the Sabres cashed in with an Alex Tuch empty-netter that ended up being the deciding goal. This is Swayman's fifth year with some playoff action -- over his previous four postseason runs, he went 9-10 with a 2.38 GAA and a .922 save percentage across 20 games. In the regular season this year, he posted a career-high 31 wins with a 2.71 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 55 outings. He'll likely get the nod again in Game 2 on Tuesday.
