  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: First goalie off Tuesday

Silovs was the first goalie to leave the ice Tuesday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home versus Vancouver.

To open the season, Silovs and Tristan Jarry have been going every other game, with that trend set to continue Tuesday. In his three appearances this year, the 24-year-old Silovs is 2-1-0 with a 2.67 GAA and a .908 save percentage. Unless one of the two backstops can separate himself from the other, fantasy managers can likely expect Silovs and Jarry to continue dividing the workload.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: In goal Tuesday

Stolarz will get the starting nod at home versus the Devils on Tuesday, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports.

Stolarz will be making his sixth appearance in the crease in the Leafs' last seven contests, having posted a 2-2-1 record and a 2.79 GAA in his five outings. Until Joseph Woll (personal) rejoins the team, the 31-year-old Stolarz figures to continue to see the bulk of the workload while Cayden Primeau serves as the No. 2 option.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Takes loss to Winnipeg

Wolf stopped 26 of 28 shots in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Jets.

Wolf posted a save percentage above .920 in a single game for the first time this season, but not even that was enough to snap the Flames' losing streak. The Flames have lost six in a row, and Wolf has guarded the cage in five of those contests. Even though he took a step in the right direction in this outing against the Jets, Wolf's having a disappointing season in 2025-26. Through six starts, the 24-year-old owns a 1-5-0 record with a 3.91 GAA and an .867 save percentage -- both figures are career-worst marks for the four-year veteran.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Dominant once again

Hellebuyck stopped 32 of 33 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Flames.

Hellebuyck was beaten by Rasmus Andersson's slap shot in the second period, but that would be the only goal the star netminder would allow. The Jets picked up the slack on offense in the third period and scored two goals to extend their winning streak to five games. For Hellebuyck, it's now four wins in a row, a stretch where he's posted a 1.50 GAA with an impressive .947 save percentage.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

    Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Stays unbeaten

Dobes made 30 saves in Monday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.

There could be a goaltending controversy brewing in Montreal. Sam Montembeault has had an uneven start to the season, going 2-2-0 in four outings with a 3.26 GAA and an .857 save percentage, but Dobes has been brilliant, going 3-0-0 while allowing just five goals on 82 shots (.939 save percentage). The 24-year-old Dobes was seen as the goalie of the future for the Canadiens coming into 2025-26, but the future could be now if he continues to outplay Montembeault. In the short term, expect the duo to remain in a timeshare as head coach Martin St. Louis gives the veteran a chance to find his footing.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Stuck with loss against Habs

Lyon turned aside 27 of 30 shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to Montreal, with the Canadiens' final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The 32-year-old netminder was beaten only once in the first 40 minutes, but the Sabres' defense broke down in the third, leading to tallies by Juraj Slafkovsky and Lane Hutson. Lyon has started every game for Buffalo to begin the season, going 2-4-0 with a 2.54 GAA and a .924 save percentage. He's played well enough to hang onto the No. 1 job even after Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (lower body) gets healthy.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Notches third straight win

Vladar made 21 saves in Monday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

The only two pucks to get past Vladar came on a deflected point shot and a Seattle power play. The 28-year-old netminder is staking an early claim to the top job in the Philly crease -- he has yet to allow more than two goals in a start this season, winning three straight games. Vladar has posted a 1.75 GAA, .929 save percentage and 3-1-0 record through four outings in 2025-26.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Needed in relief Monday

Grubauer stopped all six shots he faced after replacing Joey Daccord to begin the third period of Monday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.

It was only the second appearance of the season for the veteran goalie, as Daccord has dominated the crease for the Kraken in the early going. In four-plus periods of work so far, Grubauer has allowed three goals on 29 shots, recording an overtime loss in his only start.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Gets hook in Philly

Daccord turned aside 16 of 21 shots before being replaced by Philipp Grubauer to begin the third period of Monday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.

Two of Philly's goals came on power plays and two others came on defensive zone breakdowns by the Kraken, but the first goal Daccord allowed came after his own misplay of the puck behind the net. It's the second time in his last three starts that the 29-year-old netminder has coughed up five goals, and through five outings this season, Daccord sports a 3-1-1 record, but a less impressive 3.09 GAA and .889 save percentage.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Another tough home loss

Shesterkin stopped 29 of 31 shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Wild, with Minnesota's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The Rangers' offensive woes continued Monday, as Artemi Panarin scored in the first minute of the first period before New York's shooters went cold once again, giving Shesterkin little margin for error. The star netminder has yet to allow more than two goals in a start this season, posting a dazzling 1.17 GAA and .957 save percentage in six outings, but he has just a 2-3-1 record to show for it.
