  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Sharp again Saturday

Annunen stopped 39 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights.

A Shea Theodore power-play tally in the second period ruined his shutout bid, but Annunen was once again impressive as he fills in for the injured Juuse Saros (upper body). Annunen has allowed three goals or fewer in all five of his starts since the Olympic break, going 3-2-0 with a stellar .940 save percentage, and he'll likely see a heavy workload as long as Saros is sidelined.

  • Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Losing streak at four

Schmid made 16 saves in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators.

Two of Nashville's three goals in the second period came on power plays, while the third was a shorthanded tally by Tyson Jost. Schmid has lost all four of his starts since the Olympic break, and during that stretch, he's stumbled to an .879 save percentage in five outings while falling firmly behind Adin Hill on the depth chart.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Second straight win

Silovs made 21 saves in a 5-4 shootout win over the Jets on Saturday.

It was his second consecutive win. Silovs has been decent since the Olympic break, but your counting categories will determine his fantasy value. He is 5-2-0 with one shutout in seven starts. However, Silovs' save percentage in that span is just .884, courtesy of four games with at least four goals allowed.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Taken to hospital for precaution

Stolarz was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons after being struck in the throat by the puck during the pregame warmups for Saturday's match in Ottawa.

Stolarz was originally projected to start Saturday, but this incident led to Joseph Woll getting the assignment instead. Stolarz has an 8-9-3 record, 3.34 GAA and .894 save percentage in 22 outings in 2025-26. If Stolarz isn't available for Tuesday's game in Boston, then the Maple Leafs might summon Dennis Hildeby from the minors.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Guarding home goal

Gibson is expected to start at home against Boston on Saturday, per Red Wings in-game host Kara Wolfbauer.

Gibson has a 26-15-3 record, 2.53 GAA and .907 save percentage in 46 outings in 2025-26. He's won his past two starts while stopping 57 of 60 shots (.950 save percentage). Boston ranks 10th in goals per game with 3.29 this season.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Set to face Ottawa

Woll is expected to start on the road against Ottawa on Saturday, per the NHL media site.

Woll stopped 32 of 36 shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to Carolina on Friday, so he wasn't expected to play between the pipes again Saturday. However, Anthony Stolarz left the pregame warmup early, per David Alter of The Hockey News, so Woll is being asked to start on no rest. Ottawa is 12-3-2 while averaging 3.65 goals per game across its past 17 matches, so the Senators are likely to be a challenging adversary for Woll.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Expected to start Saturday

Lankinen is slated to start at home against St. Louis on Saturday, per Ben Kuzma of Postmedia.

Lankinen has an 8-22-5 record, 3.67 GAA and .875 save percentage in 38 outings in 2025-26. He allowed six goals on 30 shots in a 6-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday. St. Louis ranks 29th in goals per game with 2.60 this season.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Slated to face Vancouver

Binnington is expected to start on the road against Vancouver on Saturday.

Binnington has a 10-19-6 record, 3.47 GAA and .871 save percentage in 36 outings in 2025-26. He stopped just 13 of 16 shots en route to a 3-2 loss to Winnipeg in his last start Sunday. Vancouver ranks 31st in goals per game with 2.54 this season.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Set to miss more time

Saros (upper body) isn't expected to be available for Sunday's road game against Chicago, per Nick Kieser of Lower Broad Hockey.

Saros also missed Thursday's 3-1 win over Seattle and Saturday's 4-1 victory over Vegas. Justus Annunen played in both of those games, and he could get another start versus the Blackhawks on Sunday. If head coach Andrew Brunette decides to give Annunen a breather, Matt Murray could feature between the pipes in Sunday's matchup.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Defending crease Saturday

Daccord will be between the pipes for Saturday's road matchup against Columbus, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Daccord stopped 24 of 26 shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to Nashville, with the final goal being an empty-netter. He has a 19-17-5 record during the 2025-26 campaign with two shutouts, a 2.87 GAA and a .902 save percentage across 41 appearances. Columbus sits 13th in the league with 3.19 goals per game this season.
