  • James Reimer G | OTT

Sabres' James Reimer: Lit up for seven goals

Reimer stopped 24 of 31 shots in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Lightning.

This was the second half of a back-to-back set for the Sabres, and Reimer didn't play well behind a likely tired team. This is just his second bad performance since taking over as the primary goalie March 20. He's 7-3-0 in that span, putting him at 9-10-2 with a 2.99 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 23 appearances between the Sabres and the Ducks. Reimer will likely get at least one more start in 2024-25.

  • Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Gives up four goals in win

Johansson stopped 21 of 25 shots in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Sabres.

Johansson had some trouble with a strong offense, but the Lightning gave him plenty of support. Johansson is 3-0-2 with 14 goals allowed over his last five contests, providing decent performances in the backup role behind Andrei Vasilevskiy. For the season, Johansson is at 9-5-3 with a 3.08 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 18 appearances. The Lightning have two games left in the regular season, and it's possible the 29-year-old will start one of them, though that's not yet confirmed.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Ducks' John Gibson: Unavailable against Colorado

Gibson (lower body) will not suit up Sunday versus the Avalanche, according to the NHL media site.

Gibson will miss his fifth straight game, and it's unclear if he'll be available again in 2024-25. The Ducks have two games left on their schedule after Sunday. Ville Husso will continue to operate in the No. 2 netminding role while Gibson is out.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Starting in Anaheim

Wedgewood will patrol the road blue paint Sunday in Anaheim, according to Ducks PA Announcer Phil Hulett.

Wedgewood hasn't been overly busy in back-to-back wins over Chicago and Vegas, turning aside a combined 40 of 44 shots. The Ontario native has a stellar 12-4-1 record, 1.99 GAA and .918 save percentage across 18 appearances with Colorado after being acquired from Nashville in November. The Ducks have scored 11 goals over their last five games, going 2-3-0 in that span. Wedgewood is 2-1-0 with a .906 save percentage against Anaheim in his career.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Earns shutout in New Jersey

Sorokin registered a 25-save shutout in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Devils.

The shutout was Sorokin's fourth of the season, and he has now reached the 30-win mark for the second time in the last three years. This was the Russian netminder's first start since missing two games due to a lower-body injury, and the time off didn't affect the groove he's in this month -- the 29-year-old is 3-1-0 with a .930 save percentage and a 1.93 GAA over five appearances in April. The Islanders are eliminated from postseason contention, and with just two games remaining on their schedule, it's possible Sorokin splits starts with Marcus Hogberg to close out 2024-25.

  • Senators' Anton Forsberg: Holds on in OT win

Forsberg saved 29 of 32 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flyers.

Forsberg ended up facing a plethora of looks from Philadelphia Sunday and fared well overall. He tended a clean first 30 minutes before allowing two goals in the second period and one more in the third period. Forsberg then kept Ottawa's net clean over the last 15 minutes of the contest, which included the extra period. Overall, the 32-year-old netminder is up to an 11-12-2 record with a .904 save percentage and a 2.67 GAA. Forsberg has allowed two goals or fewer in four of his last seven starts but has notched only three wins over that span.

  • Eric Comrie G | WPG

Jets' Eric Comrie: Drawing home start

Comrie will tend the home twine Sunday versus the Oilers, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Comrie posted a 26-save shutout in his last start against the Golden Knights on April 3. The 29-year-old has a 9-9-1 record, 2.36 GAA and .914 save percentage over 19 appearances this season. The Jets are on the second half of a back-to-back after defeating Chicago 5-4 in a shootout Saturday, while the Oilers last played Friday.

  • James Reimer G | OTT

Sabres' James Reimer: In goal Sunday

Reimer will defend the road net against Tampa Bay on Sunday, according to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.

Reimer will get the second half of Buffalo's back-to-back after Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen played in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to Florida. The 37-year-old Reimer has a 7-1-0 record with a 2.48 GAA and a .918 save percentage in his last eight outings. Tampa Bay is tied for first in the league with 3.54 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Ivan Fedotov G | CLB

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Struggles down the stretch

Fedotov saved 21 of 25 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to Ottawa.

Fedotov posted a clean first 30 minutes in Sunday's contest before allowing three goals in the latter half of regulation. He then surrendered the OT winner to Tim Stutzle on a power play. Fedotov now has a 6-13-4 record with an .880 save percentage and a 3.15 GAA. The 28-year-old netminder has had a rough go of things since the beginning of March, with a 1-5-1 record over eight appearances. His struggles in net are only half the story, however, as the Flyers have struggled to defend nearly all season. Fedotov is signed with the Flyers through next season and will need to turn things around to gain relevance from a fantasy perspective.

  • Islanders' Tristan Lennox: Heads to minors

Lennox was returned to AHL Bridgeport on Sunday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday.

Lennox made his NHL debut Thursday, stopping one of two shots across 4:43 of ice time in a 9-2 loss to the Rangers. He also has a 4.44 GAA and an .832 save percentage in four appearances with Bridgeport this season.
