Thatcher Demko G | VAN
Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Cruises to win Saturday
Demko made 30 saves in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.
The Canucks scored five times in the first period, taking most of the drama out of the result. Demko has shouldered a heavy workload since returning from a lower-body injury in late March, starting five of Vancouver's last six games and going 3-2-0 with a 2.82 GAA and .892 save percentage as the team tries to keep its rapidly fading playoff hopes alive.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Ambushed in Vancouver
Dostal turned aside 20 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks.
After Troy Terry opened the scoring 81 seconds into the first period to give the Ducks a brief lead, Dostal found himself under siege and got beaten five times before the first intermission mercifully arrived. The 24-year-old netminder is having a rough finish to the season, giving up more than three goals six times in his last 10 outings while going 3-5-1 with a 4.08 GAA and .863 save percentage.

Casey DeSmith G | DAL
Stars' Casey DeSmith: Fades late in Saturday's loss
DeSmith stopped 35 of 39 shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins, with Pittsburgh's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
Dallas held a 3-2 lead early in the third period after Evgenii Dadonov completed his second career hat trick, but DeSmith couldn't make it hold up as the Pens out-shot the home squad 17-10 in the final frame. It was DeSmith's first regulation loss since Jan. 18, putting an end to an incredible stretch in which he'd gone 8-0-1 over nine starts with a 1.87 GAA and .943 save percentage.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Bags win in Dallas
Jarry made 21 saves in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Stars.
The netminder was able to stymie every Dallas skater except Evgenii Dadonov, who recorded a hat trick with a goal in each period. Jarry got more than enough support from Sidney Crosby and company to get into the win column, though. After getting the hook in back-to-back starts in late March, Jarry seems to have righted the ship somewhat, going 2-0-1 over his last three outings with a 2.64 GAA and .892 save percentage.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Facing Canadiens
Saros will patrol the home crease against Montreal on Sunday, according to Max Herz of 102.5 The Game Nashville.
Saros got the hook from Tuesday's 8-4 loss to Columbus after allowing seven goals on 26 shots. He has lost his last two outings, allowing 10 goals on 47 shots. Saros has posted a record of 18-29-6 with four shutouts, a 2.99 GAA and an .894 save percentage through 54 appearances this season. Montreal is tied for 15th in the league with 3.00 goals per game in 2024-25.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Starting vs. Caps
Sorokin will guard the home net Sunday against the Capitals, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Sorokin was sharp in his last outing, turning aside 27 of 28 shots in a 3-1 victory over the Wild to snap a four-game losing streak. The 29-year-old netminder is 28-23-6 with a .905 save percentage and 2.76 GAA on the campaign. Sorokin will have a tough matchup against a Washington team that's averaging a league-best 3.62 goals per game.

Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Tending twine Sunday
Lindgren will defend the road net against the Islanders on Sunday, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
Lindgren is coming off a 19-save effort in Friday's 5-3 win over Chicago. He has posted a record of 18-12-3 with one shutout, a 2.67 GAA and an .896 save percentage through 35 appearances this season. Lindgren will be Washington's No. 1 netminder until Logan Thompson (upper body) is ready to return to the lineup. The Islanders sit 25th in the league with 2.72 goals per game in 2024-25.

Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Loses on fluky goal
Wolf stopped 31 of 34 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Wolf played well and kept the Flames in it after they fell behind 2-0. His teammates rewarded him for his efforts by forcing overtime, but Reilly Smith scored the winner on a double-deflection at 4:31 of the extra session. Wolf is now 2-2-2 with 16 goals allowed over his last six contests, and he can't expect to get much support from one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league. He's at 25-16-7 with a 2.63 GAA and a .910 save percentage across 48 starts this season. The Flames have a couple of winnable matchups next week, with road games versus the Sharks on Monday and the Ducks on Wednesday before a pivotal home game Friday versus the Wild. Wolf will probably start at least two of those games if not all three.

Akira Schmid G | LV
Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Gets job done in overtime
Schmid stopped 21 of 23 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Flames.
The two goals Schmid allowed came 51 seconds apart but included the second intermission. He didn't falter after Matthew Coronato's equalizer and earned the win when Reilly Smith scored on a bank shot in overtime. Schmid made his first start and third appearance at the NHL level this season, and he'll be sticking around until Ilya Samsonov (upper body) is healthy enough to play. Adin Hill will likely get the start Sunday in Vancouver to close out this weekend's back-to-back set.

Georgi Romanov G | STL
Sharks' Georgi Romanov: Decent in relief outing
Romanov stopped 10 of 11 shots in relief of Alexandar Georgiev in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Kraken.
Romanov was called on for mop-up duty after the Kraken took a 4-1 lead in the middle of the second period. It was another passable effort from Romanov, but he is still searching for his first win at the NHL level. He's 0-3-0 with 17 goals allowed on 125 shots across five appearances this season, though allowing eight goals to the Kings last Sunday left a mark on his numbers. Romanov may get some extra action down the stretch for evaluation purposes, especially since Georgiev has done little to suggest he'll be part of the Sharks' long-term plans in the crease.
