  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Concedes three tallies in loss

Lindgren stopped 17 of 20 shots on goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.

Lindgren's outing started strong, but he ended up allowing a pair of goals in the second period, which would be enough for the Wild to grab the win. Overall, the 31-year-old netminder has a 16-12-3 record with a 2.65 GAA and an .897 save percentage. Since the beginning of March, Lindgren has gone 3-2-0 with a .903 save percentage across five outings. Washington's top netminder Logan Thompson is likely slated for the majority of starts as the Capitals look to secure the highest seed in the Eastern Conference, so Lindgren is best used as a streaming option in the fantasy playoffs but has heightened value against struggling offenses.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Shines down the stretch

Gustavsson made 28 saves on 30 shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

Gustavsson allowed two goals in less than two minutes just before the midway point of the first period, but he kept Minnesota's net tidy for the remainder of the contest. With the win, the 26-year-old netminder is up to a 29-16-4 record with a 2.46 GAA and a .918 save percentage through 50 appearances this season. Gustavsson ranks sixth in the league in wins and sits fourth in save percentage among goaltenders that have made at least 42 starts. He has won four of his last five outings and has allowed just six goals in that span. With the Wild looking to lock down a playoff spot in the Western Conference, Gustavsson should continue to see the bulk of the opportunities to guard the crease and remain a strong option in all fantasy formats as a result.

  • Penguins' Alex Nedeljkovic: Needed in relief again

Nedeljkovic stopped 15 of 18 shots after replacing Tristan Jarry early in the second period of Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Sabres.

The real issue was the Pittsburgh defense, as neither netminder was able to do much against a barrage of high-danger chances. Nedeljkovic has come on in relief in back-to-back games, and through six appearances in March, he's gone 1-3-0 with a 3.05 GAA and a .900 save percentage as the Penguins fade out of the playoff picture.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Gets hook in Buffalo

Jarry gave up four goals on 12 shots before being replaced by Alex Nedeljkovic early in the second period of Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Sabres.

With the Penguins trying to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference wild-card race, coach Mike Sullivan didn't hesitate to give Jarry the hook after the netminder was beaten twice in less than two minutes to put Pittsburgh in a 4-1 hole. It was his fourth straight loss, a stretch in which he's gone 0-3-1 with a 5.07 GAA and .839 save percentage, and he's been replaced by Nedeljkovic in back-to-back starts. The four-game win streak Jarry put together after his promotion from the AHL earlier in March is ancient history.

  • Hockey Club's Jaxson Stauber: Another poor showing in relief

Stauber gave up four goals on 10 shots after replacing Karel Vejmelka in Thursday's 8-0 loss to the Lightning.

The Lightning avenged their 6-4 loss from Saturday in Utah, and they did it in a big way. Both Utah goalies played about half the game to roughly equal results. Stauber has allowed eight goals on 38 shots across two relief appearances in March since he was called up to cover for the absence of Connor Ingram (personal). Utah is likely to ride with Vejmelka as long as they're mathematically in the playoff race, so Stauber is not a candidate to see much playing time.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Ugly outing in San Jose

Woll stopped 30 of 35 shots in Thursday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Sharks.

Both teams' top players were productive, though the Sharks' offense showed up earlier. It took a final-minute, two-goal comeback to get the game to overtime, but Woll was bested twice in the shootout to end up with the loss in the end. He is 4-2-1 with 23 goals allowed over seven contests in March, a jarring change compared to the steady play he showed between late January and the end of February. Woll is now 24-13-1 with a 2.80 GAA and a .905 save percentage over 38 appearances this season. He probably won't have to wait long for his next start, as the Maple Leafs wrap up their road trip with a back-to-back over the weekend. They visit the Kings on Saturday and the Ducks on Sunday, so Woll and Anthony Stolarz are likely to split the next two games.

  • Sharks' Alexandar Georgiev: Squanders lead, wins in shootout

Georgiev stopped 30 of 35 shots in Thursday's 6-5 shootout win over the Maple Leafs.

Georgiev blew a two-goal lead in the final minute of regulation, but he held his ground in overtime. The Sharks then lifted him up with a pair of shootout tallies to take the win, giving Georgiev his third win in four outings. The 29-year-old is just 15-23-1 on the year while adding a 3.60 GAA and an .876 save percentage over 43 appearances. The Sharks have a back-to-back over the weekend, with a home game against the Rangers on Saturday followed by a visit to Los Angeles on Sunday. Expect Georgiev and Georgi Romanov to split those starts.

  • Oilers' Olivier Rodrigue: Makes NHL debut in relief

Rodrigue allowed a goal on eight shots in relief of Calvin Pickard in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Kraken.

Rodrigue was brought in for mop-up duty after the Kraken scored five times in the second period to chase Pickard. This was Rodrigue's NHL debut. He'll likely be with the big club as long as Stuart Skinner (head) is unavailable. The 24-year-old Rodrigue has a 3.05 GAA and an .899 save percentage with AHL Bakersfield this season, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect consistent success should he draw into any additional games during this call-up.

  • Oilers' Calvin Pickard: Unravels in second period

Pickard gave up five goals on 29 shots in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Kraken.

Pickard kept the game scoreless through one period, but the Kraken hung five on the board against him in the second. He gave way for the final frame, with Olivier Rodrigue checking in for his NHL debut in the blowout loss. Pickard will need to be a lot better going forward, as it's unclear how much time Stuart Skinner (head) might miss following his exit from Wednesday's contest versus the Stars. Pickard is now 17-8-1 with a 2.75 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 29 appearances this season. The Oilers host the Flames on Saturday.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

    Kraken's Joey Daccord: Defeats Oilers

Daccord stopped 36 of 37 shots in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Oilers.

The Oilers still put up a decent shot volume, but Daccord was able to avenge his regulation loss to them last Saturday. The 28-year-old turned in a strong effort between the pipes and rode the Kraken's five-goal second period to the win. Daccord is 4-4-2 with 32 goals allowed over 10 games in March, as it appears his workload has caught up to him a bit. He's now 24-19-5 with a 2.69 GAA and a .909 save percentage over 50 appearances, which matches his career high in games played from last year. The Kraken's next two games are against the Stars on Saturday and Monday, so Daccord should probably be left on the bench in fantasy.
