  • Ivan Fedotov G | CLB

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Gives up seven goals

Fedotov stopped 22 of 29 shots in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Blackhawks.

From a statistical perspective, Fedotov had one of his worst performances of the season Sunday, allowing a season-high seven goals while posting a save percentage below the .760 mark, his second-lowest in any start this season. He's now gone six straight outings without a win, going 0-5-0 with a 3.54 GAA and an .858 save percentage in that stretch.

  • Petr Mrazek G | ANA

Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: Starting Monday

Mrazek will guard the road goal versus Utah on Monday, according to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press.

Since being acquired from Chicago at the trade deadline, Mrazek has a 2-2-0 record with one shutout, a 2.51 GAA and a .901 save percentage in four starts with the Red Wings. Utah sits 21st in the league with 2.87 goals per game in 2024-25, and the team has won two straight games going into Monday's matchup against Detroit.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Allows three goals Sunday

Annunen made 14 of 17 saves in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Blues. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

After a rocky first period where Annunen allowed two goals, he then tended one and a half clean frames before he surrendered St. Louis' third goal of the game to Justin Faulk. The 25-year-old Annunen has a 14-11-1 record with a 3.05 GAA and an .890 save percentage in 28 appearances this season. Annunen has struggled as of late with just one win in his last six starts. While his wins have been less frequent since joining the Predators after a trade away from Colorado, the young netminder has improved his save percentage and GAA in his 17 appearances with Nashville. However, it is best to fade Annunen in fantasy until next season while Nashville's struggles persist.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Shines in net Sunday

Binnington saved 31 of 32 shots on goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Predators.

Outside of a tally in the second period from Nashville's Filip Forsberg, Binnington tended an elite game against a high volume of shots. Overall, the 31-year-old netminder has a 23-21-4 record with a 2.77 GAA and an .898 save percentage in 49 appearances this season. Despite having a lower save percentage than the majority of his previous seasons, Binnington has been sensational since the 4 Nations Face-Off with an 8-2-0 record, a .906 save percentage and just 22 goals allowed in his 10 appearances during that stretch. He has been a large part of why St. Louis is on a six-game winning streak and is currently occupying a wild-card spot in the Western Conference. While he has alternated appearances in net with Joel Hofer over the past few weeks, Binnington is a must-start in all fantasy formats when he is slated to guard the crease.

  • Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: Starting against Detroit

Vejmelka will defend the home crease against the Red Wings on Monday, Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Vejmelka has seen plenty of playing time recently and has picked up wins in four of his last six outings, going 4-2-0 with a 2.83 GAA and .884 save percentage during that time. He'll attempt to remain effective against the Red Wings, who rank 22nd in the NHL with 2.83 goals per game this season.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: In goal Monday

Gustavsson will defend the road net against Dallas on Monday, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.

Gustavsson has stopped 82 of 84 shots during his three-game winning streak. He has a 28-15-4 record with five shutouts, a 2.48 GAA and a .917 save percentage through 48 appearances this season. Dallas ranks fifth in the league with 3.36 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Starting in St. Louis

Montembeault will guard the road net against the Blues on Tuesday.

Montembeault has permitted eight goals on 62 shots in two straight losses (0-0-2). He has a 25-21-6 record with four shutouts, a 2.88 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 52 appearances this season. St. Louis has won six straight games while outscoring the opposition by a 28-9 margin.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: First goalie off

Oettinger was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports, indicating that he'll start at home against the Wild.

Oettinger has had mixed results recently, going 2-2-1 with a 3.59 GAA and .865 save percentage over his last five starts. However, he's picked up wins in each of his last two outings and will attempt to stay hot against the Wild, who are averaging 2.74 goals per game this season, which is the ninth-worst mark in the league.

  • Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Slated to serve as backup

Tarasov (illness) will serve as the backup netminder for Monday's road game against the Islanders, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Tarasov was unable to suit up for Friday's game against the Penguins due to an illness, but it's encouraging that he'll be able to dress as the backup to Elvis Merzlikins on Monday. The Blue Jackets have an upcoming back-to-back set that includes games against the Canucks on Friday and against the Senators on Saturday, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Tarasov draw the start in one of those matchups.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Falls in shootout loss

Jarry stopped 27 of 30 shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Panthers.

Jarry kept the Penguins in the lead throughout the majority of regulation until Anton Lundell's equalizer late in the third period. After a scoreless overtime period, Jarry's lone mistake of the shootout to Aleksander Barkov would be enough for the Panthers to take the win. The 29-year-old Jarry now has a record of 12-9-5 with a 3.12 GAA and an .894 save percentage. While his season stats are below par, his recent play has been excellent with a 4-1-1 record, a .923 save percentage and a 2.47 GAA in his last six starts. While the Penguins attempt to make a late push for the postseason, Jarry should continue to receive the majority of the workload in Pittsburgh's net. His volume of starts and improved play down the stretch give him good fantasy value in deeper formats.
