  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Defending crease Monday

Markstrom will patrol the home crease against Vancouver on Monday, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.

Markstrom has one win across six outings in March, posting a 1-5-0 record with an .833 save percentage. He has gone 22-14-5 with three shutouts, a 2.49 GAA and a .901 save percentage through 42 appearances this season. Vancouver ranks 23rd in the league with 2.79 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Holds strong in shootout

Bobrovsky saved 24 of 27 shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win against the Penguins.

Bobrovsky struggled early in Sunday's contest as he allowed three of the first four goals of the game. After the seven-minute mark in the second period, however, he kept Florida's net spotless throughout the rest of regulation, overtime and three shootout attempts. The 36-year-old netminder is up to a 30-15-2 record with a 2.46 GAA and a .907 save percentage. With Sunday's win, Bobrovsky is the fifth goaltender across the league to reach the 30-win threshold. He has played exceptionally well down the stretch with a 7-2-0 record and a .929 save percentage in his last nine games. He should be a lineup lock in all fantasy formats when his name is called upon for the Panthers. However, the Panthers don't play again until Friday at home versus Utah, capping his potential this week in the fantasy playoffs.

  • Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Tending twine Monday

Merzlikins will defend the road net against the Islanders on Monday, per Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.

Merzlikins has surrendered 21 goals on 192 shots during his six-game losing skid (0-5-1). He has a 22-19-5 record with one shutout, a 3.04 GAA and an .896 save percentage through 46 appearances this season. The Islanders sit 25th in the league with 2.72 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Starting against Columbus

Sorokin will serve as the starting goaltender for Monday's home game against the Blue Jackets, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Sorokin got the night off Saturday against Calgary, but he'll tend the twine for the sixth time in the Islanders' last seven matchups Monday. The 29-year-old is in the midst of a three-game winning streak in which he's posted a 2.29 GAA and .919 save percentage.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Keeps stumbling in loss to Kings

Swayman stopped 16 of 23 shots in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Kings.

Joonas Korpisalo played all of Saturday's loss to the Sharks, leaving Swayman to stay in for all of this lopsided defeat. This was the third time in 2024-25 that Swayman has allowed at least seven goals, and he's given up a total of 20 tallies during a four-game losing streak. He's down to 20-25-6 with a 3.12 GAA and an .892 save percentage over 51 appearances. It's a lost year for both Swayman and the Bruins, but he's still likely to see a decent share of playing time to close it out. The road trip continues Wednesday in Anaheim, but Swayman's recent play has made him too unreliable for fantasy managers.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Little work to do in win

Kuemper stopped 11 of 13 shots in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Bruins.

Kuemper didn't paint a Picasso between the pipes, but he didn't have to with the Kings' offense putting up seven goals for a second straight game. The 34-year-old has won six of his last seven outings, allowed a total of seven goals in that span. For the season, he's up to 24-9-7 with a 2.13 GAA and a .917 save percentage over 41 appearances. He won't get many easy matchups like this one -- the Kings host the Rangers on Tuesday for their next game, which should present more of a challenge.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Allows three goals in loss

Vasilevskiy stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

The score makes it seem closer than the game actually was, as the Lightning's second tally was late in the third period. Vasilevskiy did what he could, but with the Lightning on the second half of a road back-to-back, they didn't have the legs to match Vegas. This ended a three-game winning streak for Vasilevskiy, who also allowed three or more goals for the fourth time in his last nine outings. He's at a 33-19-3 record with a 2.25 GAA and a .919 save percentage over a league-leading 55 starts. Vasilevskiy will likely continue to see a heavy workload until the crowded Atlantic Division standings are sorted out -- the Lightning are still in contention for the top of the division, but they're four points back of the Panthers with a game in hand. The Lightning return home for three games over the next week, beginning with Tuesday's matchup against the Penguins.

  • Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Rides early lead to win

Samsonov stopped 35 of 37 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.

The Golden Knights led 3-0 after the first period, and that was enough of a lead for Samsonov to work with. The 28-year-old had lost his last two outings, and he's started to slip into more of a clear-cut backup role to Adin Hill in that stretch. Samsonov is up to 16-9-3 with a 2.78 GAA and an .892 save percentage through 28 starts this season. He likely won't have to wait long for his next start. The Golden Knights have a three-game road trip for the upcoming week, which ends with a back-to-back at Chicago on Friday and at Nashville on Saturday, which essentially guarantees a favorable matchup for Samsonov in one of those contests.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Game slips away in third period

Dostal stopped 32 of 36 shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Dostal took a third loss in a row (0-2-1), and he's allowed 13 goals on 81 shots in that span. He kept the game scoreless in the first period, but the Hurricanes tagged him for two goals apiece in each of the last two frames. The 24-year-old still looked pretty sharp despite the defeat, which dropped him to 20-19-6 on the year. He's added a 2.99 GAA and a .907 save percentage over a career-high 45 appearances. John Gibson is healthy again after a lower-body injury that kept him out for much of March, so Dostal will likely be sharing the crease moving forward.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Strong showing in win

Andersen stopped 35 of 37 shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.

Andersen put on a show against his first NHL team, flashing the leather on multiple occasions while facing his highest shot total of the season. He came away with a fifth straight win, a span in which he's allowed just eight goals on 135 shots. He's up to 11-5-0 with a 2.07 GAA and a .918 save percentage across 16 appearances. Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov continue to split the crease evenly -- if that pattern holds, Kochetkov will get a favorable matchup Tuesday versus the Predators, while Andersen is lined up to take on the Canadiens on Friday.
