Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: Slated to start Thursday
Vejmelka was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, and he's expected to patrol the home crease versus Minnesota on Thursday.
Vejmelka has won three straight games, allowing only four goals on 70 shots (.943 save percentage) in victories over Washington, Vancouver and Chicago. He is 15-15-4 with a 2.48 GAA and a .910 save percentage this season. The Wild are generating 2.88 goals per game, which ranks 20th in the league in 2024-25.

Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Losing streak at four
Ullmark stopped 35 of 38 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Jets, with Winnipeg's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
The Senators were outplayed on the night, getting outshot 39-25, and Ullmark had little to no chance on any of the three pucks that got past him. Even so, it was the fourth straight loss for the 31-year-old netminder since he returned from back trouble in early February, a stretch in which Ullmark has a ragged 4.35 GAA and .891 save percentage.

Connor Hellebuyck G | WPG
Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Win streak at eight
Hellebuyck made 24 saves in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Senators.
The reigning Vezina Trophy winner nabbed his eighth straight win as the Jets ran their team winning streak to a franchise-record 11, with a second-period tally by Thomas Chabot being the only thing between Hellebuyck and a new career high of seven shutouts on the season. During his personal winning streak, Hellebuyck has posted a stellar 1.99 GAA and .922 save percentage, and he leads the NHL in wins (36), GAA (2.02) and save percentage (.926) as he angles for a Triple Crown in addition to a Vezina repeat.

Daniil Tarasov G | FLA
Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Between pipes Thursday
Tarasov will patrol the visiting crease in Detroit on Thursday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Tarasov has not seen any action in net in almost a month, stopping 31 shots in a 3-2 overtime win in Utah on Jan. 31. The Russian netminder is 5-7-2 with a 3.69 GAA and a weak .876 save percentage across 14 appearances this season. The Red Wings are generating 2.90 goals per game, 17th in the NHL.

Alexandar Georgiev G | BUF
Sharks' Alexandar Georgiev: Starting in Montreal
Georgiev will guard the visiting crease in Montreal on Thursday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Georgiev is mired in a six-game losing streak, allowing 26 goals on 197 shots (.868 save percentage). Georgiev is only 10-19-0 this season after winning 78 games over his previous two campaigns with the Avalanche. He will face the Canadiens, who are generating 2.93 goals per game, 15th in the NHL.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen G | BUF
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Guarding cage Thursday
Luukkonen will be in goal on the road against the Hurricanes on Thursday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
Luukkonen has been racking up wins of late, going 5-1-0 in his last six appearances despite sporting a .887 save percentage over that stretch. At this point in the season, the 25-year-old netminder may face an uphill battle to match the 27-win mark he set last year -- though it's certainly not out of the question given his recent performances.
-
Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Defending cage versus Bolts
Wolf will patrol the crease on the road against Tampa Bay on Thursday, Eric Francis of Sportsnet reports.
Wolf has put up solid numbers on the year, posting a 20-11-3 record, .913 save percentage and two shutouts in 34 contests. Still, it's been rough going for the California native of late, as he has gone 1-3-1 with a 3.24 GAA in his previous five outings. If Wolf can start stringing together some victories, reaching the 30-win threshold isn't completely out of the question this season.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Tending twine Thursday
Ersson will defend the road cage against the Penguins on Thursday, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Ersson is riding a three-game winning streak during which he posted a .920 save percentage and 2.00 GAA. With no back-to-backs on the short-term schedule, the 25-year-old Swede could see plenty of work heading into the final weeks of the NHL campaign -- though the Flyers won't want Ivan Fedotov or Aleksei Kolosov sitting around too long.
-
Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Tending twine Thursday
Skinner will be between the road pipes against Florida on Thursday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Skinner has struggled over his last three starts, going 0-2-0 with a 5.21 GAA and .848 save percentage during that time. He could have trouble righting the ship Thursday, as the Panthers rank sixth in the NHL with 3.27 goals per game.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Expects to dress as backup
Johansson (lower body) expects to dress as the backup netminder for Thursday's home game against the Flames, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Although Andrei Vasilevskiy will operate as the starter for Thursday's matchup, Johansson should be available, as he appears to have moved past the lower-body issue that forced him to miss the last eight games. The Lightning begin next week with a back-to-back set that includes games against the Panthers and Blue Jackets on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Johansson between the pipes for one of those matchups.
