  • Lightning's Maxim Groshev: Heading to waivers

Groshev was placed on waivers by the Lightning on Sunday.

Groshev signed a two-year, two-way deal with the Lightning in the offseason after another solid year in the organization. He made his NHL debut during the 2025-26 campaign, where he recorded an assist across just two regular-season outings. The 24-year-old winger is headed into his fourth season with AHL Syracuse, where he will continue his development in hopes of being a depth winger for the team in the near future.

Senators' Tyler Boucher: Lands on waivers Sunday

Boucher was placed on waivers by the Senators on Sunday, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

The 2021 first-round pick hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he logged 12 goals, 14 assists and 68 PIM across 47 regular-season appearances with AHL Belleville during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Lightning's Michael Callahan: Sent to waiver wire

Callahan was placed on waivers by the Lightning on Sunday.

Callahan spent the 2025-26 campaign in Boston's organization before he inked a one-year deal with their division rival. The former AHL Providence alternate captain was a solid contributor each of the last four seasons, and he's coming off a season where he set a career high of 14 assists across 56 regular-season outings in 2025-26. He'll likely factor into a top-four role with AHL Syracuse to open the upcoming season.

Canadiens' Samuel Poulin: Surfaces on waivers

Poulin was placed on waivers Sunday for the purpose of assignment to AHL Laval.

The 25-year-old blueliner had a short stint with the Maple Leafs last season, but he primarily played with AHL Toronto, posting 23 points in 55 regular-season outings. He'll likely be on the call-up radar for the Jets if the team has any injuries on the blue line, but he'll likely suit up with AHL Manitoba in the interim.
