Joel Hanley D | CGY
Flames' Joel Hanley: Set to play Monday
Hanley (illness) is expected to be back in the lineup versus the Capitals on Monday, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Hanley will be back in action after missing just one game due to his illness. The defenseman has yet to score a goal in 58 games this season and has managed just one helper in his previous 22 outings. Given his lack of offensive upside, fantasy managers will want to pursue alternative fantasy options on the blue line.

Brayden Point C | TB
Lightning's Brayden Point: Extends point streak
Point scored a goal in Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Sabres.
Point was credited with a goal that gave the Lightning a 6-4 lead, but the puck was placed into the net by a Sabres defenseman. Still, this goal extended Point's streak to four games with at least one goal or assist. Over that four-game stretch, the 29-year-old center has two goals and three assists, but he's also racked up 10 points (five goals, five assists) in seven outings since the Olympic break.

Devin Cooley G | CGY
Flames' Devin Cooley: Set to start Monday
Cooley will defend the road net against Washington on Monday, according to Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Despite posting a 2.42 GAA and a .927 save percentage in his last seven appearances, Cooley has a 1-3-2 record over that span. He has gone 7-7-4 this season with a 2.27 GAA and a .923 save percentage across 22 games. Washington ranks 17th in the league with 3.11 goals per game this campaign.

Brandon Hagel LW | TB
Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Two points, 11 PIM in loss
Hagel recorded a goal, an assist, 11 PIM, two shots on goal and a blocked shot in Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Sabres.
The 11 PIM were a season-high for Hagel, though the game was intense, with 70 penalty minutes combined between the two teams. The 27-year-old winger also contributed in the scoring column, as this was his second straight multi-point effort. Hagel has been a bit inconsistent on a game-to-game basis of late, but he's still racked up 10 points (five goals, five assists) in his last 10 appearances dating back to Feb. 1.

Nikita Kucherov RW | TB
Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Three points in loss
Kucherov recorded two goals, including one on the power play, and added an assist in Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Sabres.
Kucherov was coming off a four-assist performance in the Lightning's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday, and the star winger remains on a scorching-hot trail of late. Kucherov has cracked the scoresheet in all but two of his last 17 appearances, recording 10 multi-point performances and earning 36 points (11 goals, 25 helpers) over that prolific stretch.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Concedes eight in goalfest
Johansson stopped 34 of 42 shots in Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Sabres.
Conceding eight goals is far from ideal, as Johansson only posted an .810 save percentage in one of the highest-scoring games of the 2025-26 NHL season so far. Johansson has appeared in six games (five starts) since the beginning of January, going 2-3-0 with a 4.35 GAA and an .855 save percentage. He's firmly entrenched as the Lightning's No. 2 option between the pipes behind Andrei Vasilevskiy, so he's not going to have a lot of upside in most fantasy formats. Even when Johansson is scheduled to start, he's a matchup-based, streaming-only option.

Nicolas Deslauriers LW | CAR
Hurricanes' Nicolas Deslauriers: Joins new team for practice
Deslauriers (not injury related) participated in Monday's practice, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.
Deslauriers wasn't available for Friday's 6-3 win over Edmonton and Saturday's 5-4 loss to Calgary, but he should be an option for Tuesday's matchup against Pittsburgh. The Hurricanes acquired the 35-year-old forward from Philadelphia on Friday in exchange for a 2027 conditional seventh-round pick. Deslauriers rotated in with the fourth line during his first practice with Carolina on Monday.

Erik Karlsson D | PIT
Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Two helpers in OT win
Karlsson pocketed two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Bruins.
The veteran blueliner had a hand in tallies by Yegor Chinakhov in the second period and Anthony Mantha in the third, the latter of which forced OT. Karlsson has been building momentum since the Olympic break with two goals, seven points and 20 shots on net over his last six games.
-
Tommy Novak C | PIT
Penguins' Thomas Novak: OT hero against Bruins
Novak scored the overtime winner and added an assist in Sunday's 5-4 victory over Boston.
After helping to set up an Anthony Mantha tally in the third period, Novak capped a comeback from a 3-0 deficit by snapping a one-timer past Joonas Korpisalo. Novak is beginning to look more comfortable in a top-six role while Sidney Crosby (lower body) and Evgeni Malkin (suspension) are unavailable. Through 10 games since the beginning of February, Novak has produced five goals and eight points.

Garnet Hathaway RW | PHI
Flyers' Garnet Hathaway: Back at practice
Hathaway (illness) participated in Monday's optional morning skate, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Hathaway was absent from Sunday's practice because of the flu, but he appears to be available to play against the Rangers on Monday. He has accounted for one goal, two points, 23 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and 199 hits across 53 appearances this season.
