  • Cole Caufield RW | MON

Canadiens' Cole Caufield: Pots goal No. 30

Caufield scored his 30th goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over Vegas.

The 25-year-old winger grabbed a loose puck at the side of the net and quickly tucked it past Akira Schmid to give the Habs a 2-1 lead midway through the second period. Caufield has found the back of the net in six straight games, racking up nine goals and 11 points over that stretch. He's reached 30 goals in two consecutive regular seasons and has 54 points in 53 contests this campaign.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Wins fourth straight start

Dobes made 32 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

The 24-year-old netminder remains undefeated in January, going 4-0-0 on the month. Dobes hasn't taken a regulation loss since Dec. 9, putting together a 6-0-1 record in seven starts with a 2.52 GAA and an .898 save percentage. However, he remains behind Sam Montembeault on the depth chart for Montreal.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Provides offense in OT loss

Dorofeyev scored two goals in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Montreal.

The 25-year-old winger earned a point for the Golden Knights with goals in the first and third periods. It was Dorofeyev's fourth multi-goal performance of the season, two of which have come in the last seven contests. During that span, he has lit the lamp seven times, but he hasn't recorded an assist. He's one tally short of reaching 25 for a second straight regular season, and through 52 games, he's produced 40 points.

  • Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Comes up short in Montreal

Schmid turned aside 23 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens.

After allowing two goals in the second period, Schmid and the Golden Knights dominated the third to force overtime. However, Jake Evans beat Schmid clean on a rush that produced the winner. Schmid has lost two straight decisions since his four-start win streak ended. Through seven outings in January, he's gone 4-1-2 with a 2.61 GAA and an .895 save percentage.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Reaches 30-goal plateau

Geekie scored his 30th goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Predators.

The 27-year-old gave the Bruins a 2-0 lead early in the second period, snapping a shot past Juuse Saros from the faceoff circle. Geekie has reached the 30-goal plateau in back-to-back seasons, and he remains on pace to blow past the career-high 33 he scored in 2024-25.

  • David Pastrnak RW | BOS

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Two points including OT winner

Pastrnak scored the game-winning goal in overtime and added an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Predators.

After helping to set up Morgan Geekie for a tally in the second period, Pastrnak ended the night just 15 seconds into OT as he charged the net and deflected home a Charlie McAvoy pass. Pastrnak extended his point streak to eight games in the process, a stretch in which he's collected three goals and 14 points.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Hangs on for OT win

Swayman stopped 28 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Predators.

The 27-year-old netminder watched a 2-0 slip away once Roman Josi potted a power-play tally in the final minute of the second period. However, Swayman still came away with a victory thanks to David Pastrnak's OT winner. Swayman has won five of his last six starts, posting a 5-1-0 record with a 2.60 GAA and a .912 save percentage over that stretch.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Bounced by Bruins in OT

Saros made 25 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Boston.

The Predators never led in the game, rallying from a 2-0 deficit late in the second period to force overtime, and Saros had little chance on David Pastrnak's winner just 15 seconds into the extra frame. The veteran netminder has given up at least three goals in six straight outings, posting a shaky 3.69 GAA and .887 save percentage over that stretch while coming away with a 3-2-1 record.

  • Ben Chiarot D | DET

Red Wings' Ben Chiarot: Inks three-year extension

Chiarot agreed to terms on a three-year, $11.55 million contract extension with Detroit on Wednesday.

Chiarot was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but instead, he has tied himself to the Wings for what will likely be the last three years of his career. In his 54 outings this year, the 34-year-old defenseman has generated four goals on 64 shots, seven assists and 109 hits while averaging 21:07 of ice time.

  • Matthew Knies LW | TOR

Maple Leafs' Matthew Knies: Nets opening goal in loss

Knies scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Sabres.

The Maple Leafs have just one win over their last eight games, but Knies has contributed a goal and five helpers in that span. The 23-year-old's physical style has been a reliable foundation for fantasy, as he consistently performs well in those aspects, even when the offense wavers. He's at 13 goals, 44 points, 96 shots on net, 109 hits and a minus-8 rating over 50 appearances this season, mainly as a top-six winger.
