Oliver Bonk D | PHI
Flyers' Oliver Bonk: Returns to minors
Bonk was reassigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.
Bonk made his NHL debut Tuesday, providing a goal and an assist to lead the Flyers to a 4-2 victory over Montreal. That fantastic performance will help make his case when he's competing for an NHL roster spot during training camp, but for now, he'll focus on closing out the campaign for Lehigh Valley, which will not make the Calder Cup Playoffs. The 21-year-old defenseman has six goals, 19 points and 22 PIM in 44 outings with the AHL squad in 2025-26. Bonk is unlikely to play for Philadelphia during its playoff run, but he might eventually join the club as a Black Ace to get a taste of the postseason atmosphere.

Lyon (lower body) will not be an option for Game 1 of the postseason, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports Wednesday.
Lyon is reportedly on track to return at some point during the first-round series, though head coach Lindy Ruff didn't offer a specific recovery timeline. Once Lyon receives the all-clear, he will likely face an uphill battle to unseat Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen as Buffalo's starter.

Ostlund (upper body) isn't expected to be ready for Game 1 of Buffalo's first-round series against Boston, per Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 on Wednesday.
Ostlund is getting close, so he might still be ready to return early in the first-round series. The 22-year-old will finish the regular season with 11 goals and 27 points in 60 appearances in 2025-26. Ostlund is likely to serve in a bottom-six capacity once he's available.
