James Reimer G | OTT
Senators' James Reimer: Beaten four times
Reimer stopped 22 of 26 shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Predators. The fifth goal was an empty-netter with 27 seconds left in the game.
Reimer was coming off his first win of the season, but he wasn't able to repeat that outcome. The 37-year-old is likely to remain as the Senators' No. 1 goaltender while Linus Ullmark (personal) remains away from the team, and Leevi Merilainen was sent to AHL Belleville earlier this week. Reimer is 1-1-1 with a 3.02 GAA and .889 save percentage in three appearances this season since signing with the Senators on Jan. 12.

Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Fills empty cage
Krebs scored an empty-net goal and added four hits in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Canadiens.
Krebs has three goals and an assist over his last four games. He's been back on the fourth line lately, but his production is still there despite the lack of quality minutes on offense. The 24-year-old center has six goals, 20 points, 57 shots on net, 118 hits, 30 blocked shots, 46 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 50 appearances. He's on pace to reach the 30-point mark for the first time, but Krebs' offense could be volatile if he stays in the bottom six for an extended period of time.

Zack Bolduc C | MON
Canadiens' Zachary Bolduc: Snags helper in loss
Bolduc registered an assist, two shots on goal, four hits, two blocked shots and six PIM in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres.
Bolduc has had a rough January with just two assists over 12 outings this month. The 22-year-old has mainly been in a bottom-six role, though his 14:18 of ice time Thursday was his most in any game this month. The forward is up to 19 points, 69 shots on net, 103 hits, 26 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 51 appearances. Unless he carves out a top-six role, he's too risky to roster in standard fantasy formats.

Isac Lundestrom C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Isac Lundestrom: Gets helper in return to lineup
Lundestrom notched an assist in Thursday's 1-0 win over the Stars.
Lundestrom missed 12 games due to a lower-body injury and was a healthy scratch Tuesday versus the Senators despite being activated from injured reserve ahead of that contest. The 26-year-old checked back in on the fourth line Thursday, replacing Brendan Gaunce at center. Lundestrom has six points, 30 shots on net, 17 hits and 16 blocked shots over 36 appearances this season. With the Blue Jackets missing only Miles Wood (leg) up front, Lundestrom could be headed for a part-time role in the near future.

Travis Hamonic D | DET
Red Wings' Travis Hamonic: Checks in, earns assist
Hamonic logged an assist, four blocked shots, two hits and four PIM in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.
This was Hamonic's fourth appearance in the Red Wings' last 26 games, and his first since Dec. 21 versus the Capitals. He got the nod to replace Simon Edvinsson (lower body) for this contest. Hamonic has two helpers, 16 shots on net, 22 PIM, 21 hits, 30 blocks and a minus-11 rating over 20 outings this season. Jacob Bernard-Docker has most often gotten the last spot in the lineup, and Hamonic's not even guaranteed to play in the event of an injury to another blueliner, as Erik Gustafsson is on the roster as well.

Emmitt Finnie C | DET
Red Wings' Emmitt Finnie: Produces assist Thursday
Finnie notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.
Finnie came out of the holiday break cold, going 13 games without a point. He snapped the slump with a helper on James van Riemsdyk's tally at 5:36 of the third period. Finnie's downturn on offense has cost him power-play time while bumping him to a bottom-six role at even strength. Finnie reached the 20-point mark with this assist, and he's added 84 shots on net, 75 hits, 30 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 52 outings during his rookie year.

James van Riemsdyk LW | DET
Red Wings' James van Riemsdyk: Tickles twine Thursday
Van Riemsdyk scored a goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.
Van Riemsdyk put the Red Wings ahead 3-2 briefly in the third period, only for Mats Zuccarello to answer 35 seconds later. It's another goal for van Riemsdyk in January -- he has five of them, along with seven assists, over 11 outings this month. For the season, the veteran winger has 14 goals, 23 points, 74 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 43 appearances, primarily in a bottom-six role.

Lucas Raymond LW | DET
Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Scores twice in overtime loss
Raymond scored a pair of goals, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.
Raymond has gotten on the scoresheet in eight of the last nine games, racking up six goals and six assists in that span. He had the Red Wings' first two goals in this contest. The 23-year-old winger is up to 17 goals, 56 points (22 on the power play), 104 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 50 outings this season, putting him on pace to finish better than a point-per-game for the first time in his five-year career.
-
Cam Talbot G | DET
Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Falls to Wild in overtime
Talbot allowed four goals on 39 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.
Three separate one-goal leads didn't last, and Talbot ended up taking his third straight loss. He's 0-1-2 with 10 goals allowed on 110 shots in that span, as the Red Wings' defense has been a little leaky when he's between the pipes lately. The 38-year-old goalie is now 11-7-4 with a 3.00 GAA and an .893 save percentage across 24 appearances. Look for John Gibson to get the nod Saturday in Winnipeg, as he's handled a majority of the workload recently while Talbot is firmly in the backup role.

Jason Zucker LW | BUF
Sabres' Jason Zucker: Sets tone early in win
Zucker scored a goal in a 4-2 win over the Canadiens on Thursday.
Zucker set the tone just 44 seconds into the game when he drove the net on a 2-on-1 and ripped a shot past Sam Montembeault from the right hash marks. The 34-year-old Zucker has points in four of his last five games (one goal, four assists) and 10 shots in that span. Overall, Zucker has 11 goals, 14 assists and 66 shots in 31 games this season. He remains a sneaky fantasy option based on his strong points-per-game ratio.
