Brandon Halverson G | TB
Lightning's Brandon Halverson: Up from minors
Halverson was called up from AHL Syracuse on Wednesday.
Halverson has a 2.39 GAA and a .906 save percentage in 42 outings with AHL Syracuse in 2025-26. He's also appeared in one game for Tampa Bay this season, but he logged just 0:06 of ice time in that Dec. 13 outing against the Islanders, and he didn't face a shot. Jonas Johansson missed Monday's game against Detroit due to an undisclosed injury, prompting Tampa Bay to dress emergency backup goaltender Kyle Konin. Halverson's promotion suggests Johansson could be unavailable again. It's also possible that Johansson is healthy, and Halverson is up to allow Andrei Vasilevskiy to take the Lightning's regular-season finale against New York off as a healthy scratch ahead of the playoffs.

Clay Stevenson G | WAS
Capitals' Clay Stevenson: Heading back to minors
Stevenson was loaned to AHL Hershey on Wednesday.
Stevenson drew the road start in Tuesday's regular-season finale against Columbus, and he turned aside 27 of 28 shots en route to a 2-1 victory. He should continue to see playing time in the AHL to close out the year now that Washington's regular season has concluded.

Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI
Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Will be ready for training camp
Palmieri (knee) told reporters Wednesday that he should be ready to go for the start of training camp, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Palmieri suffered a torn ACL back in November but appears to be on track in his recovery. Prior to getting hurt, the veteran winger logged 25 games for the Isles in which he notched six goals and 12 assists, including five power-play points. Palmieri will head into 2026-27 in the last season of a two-year deal he signed with the club in May of 2025 and could be entering the final season of his NHL career.

Hunter McDonald D | PHI
Flyers' Hunter McDonald: Earns helper in NHL debut
McDonald notched an assist, four PIM, five hits and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Canadiens.
McDonald made his NHL debut Tuesday and looked good, making an impact in multiple areas during his 15:11 of ice time. The 23-year-old defenseman figures to head back to AHL Lehigh Valley as the minor-league team makes a late push for a playoff spot. If that falls short, he'll likely be among the Flyers' Black Aces during their NHL playoff run.
-
Alex Bump LW | PHI
Flyers' Alex Bump: Puts away goal in win
Bump scored a goal and added two hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Canadiens.
Bump had been a scratch for the previous two games, but he drew in after the Flyers made wholesale changes to the lineup following their clinching of a playoff spot Monday. The 22-year-old forward figures to be a part-time option at best in the playoffs. Bump has five goals, four assists, 23 shots on net, 16 hits and a plus-3 rating over 17 appearances this season.
-
Joseph Veleno C | MON
Canadiens' Joe Veleno: Hands out assist in loss
Veleno notched an assist and five hits in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Flyers.
Veleno has been in and out of the lineup frequently this season. His helper ended a 21-game point drought dating back to his assist in a Jan. 8 game versus the Panthers. He ends the regular season with five points, 52 shots on net, 166 hits, 32 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 61 appearances. Veleno will likely continue to be a part-time option in the postseason.
-
Alexandre Texier LW | MON
Canadiens' Alexandre Texier: Contributes assist in loss
Texier logged an assist and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Flyers.
Texier picked up his first point in five games after missing seven contests due to a lower-body injury. His point drought was at 10 games. The 26-year-old has often filled a middle-six role this season, but it'll be interesting to see if he can stick in the lineup in the playoffs. With the Blues last year, he played in just three of seven postseason games. Texier has 21 points, 74 shots on net, 65 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 51 regular-season outings this season.
-
Mason Lohrei D | BOS
Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Pockets helper
Lohrei notched an assist and went plus-4 in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
Lohrei ended a seven-game point drought. He was able to play in the last five contests of the regular season after a four-game absence due to an upper-body injury. Lohrei finished the regular season with 26 points, 72 shots on net, 93 blocked shots, 30 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-17 rating over 73 appearances while mainly playing in a bottom-four role.
-
Tanner Jeannot LW | BOS
Bruins' Tanner Jeannot: Plucks apple in win
Jeannot notched an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
With the helper, Jeannot ended a 22-game point drought. The winger hasn't always been consistent on offense, but he brings plenty of heavy-hitting power to the lineup. He ends the regular season with 22 points -- the second-best total of his career -- as well as 78 shots on net, 66 PIM, 239 hits, 58 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 77 appearances. Jeannot's playing style will work well in tough and physical playoff matchups, especially if he can chip in a little depth scoring.
-
Sean Kuraly C | BOS
Bruins' Sean Kuraly: Adds two assists in win
Kuraly notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
Kuraly has five points over his last two games after going 22 contests without getting on the scoresheet. The 33-year-old has maintained a bottom-six role throughout the season, earning 22 points over 82 games for his highest output in four years and the third-best total of his career. He's added 110 shots on net, 87 hits, 47 blocked shots and 41 PIM, marking a significant drop in his physical play. Kuraly should be a fourth-line glue guy during the Bruins' playoff run.
