  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Starting in Winnipeg

Hofer will defend the road net against the Jets on Tuesday, according to Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic.

Hofer has won his last two outings while stopping 67 of the 69 shots he has faced. He has gone 11-9-2 this campaign with a 2.76 GAA and a .905 save percentage across 26 appearances. Hofer had a 24-save performance in a 1-0 shutout win over the Jets on Dec. 17. Winnipeg is tied for 20th in the league with 2.98 goals per game this season.

  • Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Defending home net

Jarry is scheduled to patrol the home blue paint against the Devils on Tuesday, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

Jarry posted his second shutout of the season and first in an Oilers jersey in Vancouver on Saturday, making 31 saves in a 6-0 win. The British Columbia native owns a 13-3-2 record, 2.64 GAA and .909 save percentage over 19 appearances between Edmonton and Pittsburgh in 2025-26. Jarry has an enticing matchup against a New Jersey club that has generated 2.57 goals per game this season, which ranks 28th in the NHL. Furthermore, the Devils are on the second half of a back-to-back after defeating the Flames 2-1 in overtime Monday, while the Oilers have been off since Sunday.

  • Parker Kelly LW | COL

Avalanche's Parker Kelly: Opens scoring Monday

Kelly scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Monday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.

Kelly has two goals and two assists over his last six games. Injuries have started to pile up among the Avalanche's forwards, affording Kelly a chance to see more ice time. He's averaging 14:15 per game in January, two minutes higher than his season average. Overall, the 26-year-old has a career-high nine goals with eight assists, 62 shots on net, 98 hits, 32 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-11 rating over 47 appearances.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Adds insurance tally

Lehkonen scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.

Lehkonen had been limited to one helper over his previous five games. The 30-year-old winger remains in a top-six role, so his recent slump on offense is likely to be just a blip on the radar. He's at 16 goals, 36 points, 117 shots on net, 34 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-32 rating over 47 appearances, giving him a chance to challenge for a 60-point campaign if he can turn up the scoring again.

  • Sebastian Aho LW | CAR

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Two more assists Monday

Aho notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Monday's 2-1 win over the Sabres.

Aho has logged multiple helpers in four of the last five games, earning a total of nine (four on the power play) in that span. The 28-year-old center's playmaking has helped mask a nine-game goal drought. He's at 17 goals, 52 points, 113 shots on net, 44 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 50 contests this season.

  • Flames' Martin Pospisil: Removed from LTIR

Pospisil (undisclosed) was activated from long-term injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL media site.

The Flames recalled Pospisil from AHL Calgary on Tuesday after he appeared in two minor-league outings during a conditioning assignment. He skated on the fourth line during Tuesday's practice, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan, and could make his NHL season debut against Pittsburgh on Wednesday. The 26-year-old Pospisil had four goals, 25 points, 114 shots on net, 301 hits and 84 PIM across 81 games during the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Reaches 40-assist mark

Eichel dished out a power-play assist in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Flyers.

Eichel slid the primary helper on Tomas Hertl's lone goal of the game for Vegas. With the power-play apple, Eichel reached the 40-assist mark for the fourth time in his 11-year career. Overall, the 29-year-old center is up to 57 points, 157 shots on net and 27 blocks through 41 games this season. His 57 points place him in the league's top 10, and despite missing seven games earlier in the year, Eichel still has a chance to post consecutive 90-plus-point regular seasons for the first time in his career.

  • Alex Vlasic D | CHI

Blackhawks' Alex Vlasic: Adds two apples in win

Vlasic recorded two assists and fired two shots on net in Monday's 2-0 shutout win over Winnipeg.

Vlasic registered a pair of secondary helpers Tuesday, which snapped his five-game streak without a point. Overall, the 24-year-old blueliner is up to 10 assists, 12 points, 49 shots on goal and 71 blocks through 48 games this season. While Vlasic's start to the season hasn't gone as planned after his 30-point campaign a year ago, he should have plenty of opportunities to make a push towards that number thanks to his top-pairing role.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Elected starter for Wednesday

Gibson was named the starter ahead of Wednesday's road game against the Maple Leafs, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

Wednesday's contest will allow Gibson a chance to extend his win streak to seven games, which would be his second-longest run of victories this season. Overall, the 32-year-old netminder has a 19-9-1 record with a 2.74 GAA and a .902 save percentage across 30 appearances this season. He has a chance to make his first season in Detroit a career year at his current rate of wins if he can surpass the 31 he posted across 60 regular-season appearances during the 2017-18 campaign. He'll face the Maple Leafs, who rank sixth in the NHL at 3.37 goals per game.

  • Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Set to miss out versus Blues

Salomonsson (illness) is not expected to play in Tuesday's clash with St. Louis.

Even when healthy, Salomonsson is far from a lock to play on a nightly basis and could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically. With the blueliner on the shelf, Isaak Phillips will play in just his second NHL game this year. If the Jets can get all of their defenseman back to 100 percent, Salomonsson will likely head back to the minors at some point.
