Joonas Korpisalo G | BOS
Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Collects win over Blackhawks
Korpisalo stopped 22 of 24 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Korpisalo allowed two goals in the first period, but he shut the door after that to earn his third straight win. He's allowed just three goals on 80 shots during the winning streak. For the season, the Finnish netminder is up to 9-8-0 with a 3.13 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 18 appearances. Korpisalo is getting a decent share of playing time for a backup, but Jeremy Swayman remains Boston's main man in the crease and will likely start Tuesday in Dallas.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Struggles continue Saturday
Ersson made 22 saves in relief in a 6-3 loss to the Rangers on Saturday.
Starter Aleksei Kolosov allowed three goals on three shots in a 1:20 span in the first period, but Ersson took the loss. The Flyers are on a six-game losing streak (0-5-1) while being outscored by the opposition by a 31-12 margin. Ersson is 0-4-0 with 15 goals allowed during that run.

Radim Mrtka D | BUF
Sabres' Radim Mrtka: Logs three assists
Mrtka registered three assists in WHL Seattle's 5-3 win over Portland on Saturday.
Mrtka picked up his first points in two games since returning from the World Junior Championship. He was held without a point in five tournament games for Slovakia. In the WHL, he's up to a goal and 18 helpers over 16 appearances. The Sabres prospect got a taste of AHL action this year, but the 18-year-old could return to the junior ranks in 2026-27 as well.

Aleksei Kolosov G | PHI
Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Gives up three goals on three shots
Kolosov was pulled Saturday after giving up three goals on three shots in a 6-3 loss to the Rangers.
The Flyers fell apart around Kolosov, and he had no answers whatsoever. The Rangers scored three goals in 1:20 against him. This is the kind of outing that could break a player. It's hard to imagine the Flyers turning back to Kolosov. Ouch.

Matthew Gard C | PHI
Flyers' Matthew Gard: Tallies twice in WHL win
Gard scored two goals in WHL Seattle's 5-3 win over Portland on Saturday.
Gard was traded to Seattle from Red Deer on Jan. 2. He's clicked with his new team, picking up three goals and two assists over five games with the Thunderbirds after posting just 10 points in 23 outings with the Rebels. The Flyers prospect appears to have just needed a change of scenery to unlock his offense.

Travis Sanheim D | PHI
Flyers' Travis Sanheim: Three goals in last eight games
Sanheim scored a goal Saturday in a 6-3 loss to the Rangers.
He has four points, including three goals, in his last eight games. Sanheim has 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 47 games this season, which puts him on pace to deliver 36 points this season. The defender's best season came two years ago, when he put up 44 points, including 10 goals, 48 PIM, five PPP and 146 shots. Sanheim does most of his damage at even strength, although he does have a goal and one helper while shorthanded (one goal, two assists). He has 87 blocks, and that may help in formats that count secondary categories.

Travis Konecny RW | PHI
Flyers' Travis Konecny: Five points in last six games
Konecny scored a goal and an assist in a 6-3 loss to the Rangers on Saturday.
Konecny actually opened the scoring in the first period before the Rangers pounded in three goals in the span of 1:20 to take the lead and force starter Aleksei Kolosov from the net. Konecny is second in team scoring behind Trevor Zegras, and he leads the Flyers in assists (26). Philly's current six-game losing streak (0-5-1) hasn't really slowed Konecny down. He has two goals, three assists and 12 shots in that span.

Jani Nyman RW | SEA
Kraken's Jani Nyman: Continues AHL surge
Nyman scored two goals in AHL Coachella Valley's 4-0 win over San Diego on Saturday.
Nyman has scored six goals over his last three games. He's up to eight points and a plus-1 rating over eight appearances in total. Nyman looks to have had no trouble regaining confidence after losing his NHL roster spot.

Victor Ostman G | SEA
Kraken's Victor Ostman: Earns AHL shutout
Ostman posted a 28-save shutout in AHL Coachella Valley's 4-0 win over San Diego on Saturday.
Ostman is up to 8-6-2 on the season, adding a 2.95 GAA and a .901 save percentage in 16 outings. The shutout was his first of the season and the second of his AHL career. The Swedish goalie is likely to spend all of 2025-26 in the AHL.

Trevor Zegras C | PHI
Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Scoring slows during team skid
Zegras had a goal and an assist in a 6-3 loss to the Rangers on Saturday.
Zegras has gone as the Flyers have gone lately. The team has lost six in a row (0-5-1), and Zegras has just three points (one goal, two assists) in that span. He does have 16 shots over that stretch, but look closely, and you'll find he put up seven in a single game. Zegras has 44 points, including 19 goals, and 107 shots in 47 games. His previous best came in 2022-23 when he delivered 65 points (23 goals, 42 assists) in 81 games.
