Brayden Point C | TB
Lightning's Brayden Point: Officially lands on IR
Point (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Friday, per the NHL media site.
Point was already deemed week-to-week by the club, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to see him end up on injured reserve. In his last eight games before getting hurt, the Calgary native racked up five goals and six helpers, including a trio of power-play points. With an extended absence, Point could miss the 80-point threshold for the first time since 2021-22.

Marcus Johansson LW | MIN
Wild's Marcus Johansson: Lights lamp in loss
Johansson scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Jets.
Johansson has a goal and an assist over his last two games. He had gone six contests without a point after a one-goal, three-helper effort in Vegas on Dec. 29. The 35-year-old winger has been a big part of the Wild's success on offense this season, earning 13 goals and 34 points in 46 appearances, matching his point total from 72 regular-season outings a year ago.

Morgan Barron C | WPG
Jets' Morgan Barron: Bags apple Thursday
Barron notched an assist, four shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Wild.
Barron missed three games due to an upper-body injury. The 27-year-old forward has been a versatile option for the Jets this season, though he's most often worked on the fourth line. He's up to 15 points so far -- matching his regular-season total from 74 games a year ago. He's added 62 shots on net, 85 hits, 21 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-7 rating over 37 appearances, putting him on track for a career year.

Logan Stanley D | BUF
Jets' Logan Stanley: Continues impressive season
Stanley scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Wild.
Stanley continues defy expectations this season. He's been a little more selectively physical lately -- he has four instances of recording zero hits and blocked shots in a game, and all of them have come in his last 14 contests. Overall, he's at eight goals, a career-high 15 points, 48 shots on net, 73 hits, 50 blocked shots, 91 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 45 appearances, production good enough for consideration in deep fantasy formats.

Tanner Pearson LW | BUF
Jets' Tanner Pearson: Puts away goal
Pearson scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Wild.
Pearson has three goals and an assist over his last five games as the Jets have come out of their doldrums on offense. The 33-year-old winger is up to seven goals, three assists, 36 shots on net, 51 hits, 21 blocked shots, 23 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 40 appearances. He's fine on the ice as a fourth-line option, but he's not scoring enough to carry much fantasy value this season.

Adam Wilsby D | NSH
Predators' Adam Wilsby: Won't play Friday
Wilsby (lower body) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Avalanche, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports.
The Predators announced Thursday that Wilsby is day-to-day due to a lower-body injury, and he'll be sidelined for at least one matchup. It's not yet clear whether Nicolas Hague (illness) will be able to return to the lineup Friday, but Andreas Englund was called up ahead of the game against Colorado and should see playing time if Hague is sidelined.

Brandon Montour D | SEA
Kraken's Brandon Montour: Earns power-play helper in return
Montour notched a power-play assist, four shots on goal, three hits and two PIM in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Montour missed nearly a month due to a hand injury, but he was able to log 25:03 of ice time after his 14-game absence. The 31-year-old defenseman will resume a significant role for the Kraken now that he's healthy. He's up to 17 points (five on the power play), 72 shots on net, 37 hits, 35 blocked shots, 23 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 28 appearances.

Eeli Tolvanen RW | SEA
Kraken's Eeli Tolvanen: Buries power-play goal
Tolvanen scored a power-play goal on three shots and added six hits in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Tolvanen has scored in two of the last three games. His goal Thursday was his first power-play contribution since Dec. 16 versus the Avalanche. The winger is up to nine goals, 27 points (10 on the power play), 78 shots on net, 117 hits, 48 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 45 appearances. He offers well-rounded production for fantasy managers, and his offense should stay consistent in a top-six role.

Chandler Stephenson C | SEA
Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Scores on power play
Stephenson scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Stephenson was in his second game back after missing two to attend to a personal matter. The 31-year-old center has racked up 16 points in 20 outings since the start of December to be one of the Kraken's steadiest forwards. He's at 12 goals, 28 points, 64 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 44 appearances this season.

Kyle Masters D | CAR
Hurricanes' Kyle Masters: Traded to Carolina
Masters was dealt to Carolina along with a fourth-round pick in 2026 from San Jose on Friday for a 2027 fifth-round pick.
The Sharks were at the NHL maximum 50 contracts prior to the deal and now have a bit of wiggle room. Masters should see action at the ECHL level, as the 22-year-old managed three assists in 10 games with ECHL Wichita before the trade to the Carolina organization.
