  • Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Pots shortie as game-winner

Kastelic scored a shorthanded goal on three shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Kastelic has scored in back-to-back contests after going 15 games without a goal. The 26-year-old now has career highs in goals (eight) and points (15) through 48 appearances this season. He's added plenty of grit in a bottom-six role, logging 126 hits, 99 PIM and 43 blocked shots. There's room for him to contribute in deep fantasy formats.

  • Bruins' Marat Khusnutdinov: Scores early in win

Khusnutdinov scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Khusnutdinov's five-point burst last Saturday got him some attention, but he's been pretty good lately overall. In the last month, he's logged 13 points, 17 shots on net and a plus-8 rating over 15 contests. The 23-year-old is currently seeing top-line minutes at even strength, though the lack of a power-play spot will still limit his potential. He's at 10 goals, 21 points, 46 shots on net, 21 hits, 20 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 43 appearances.

  • Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Stays hot with goal

Arvidsson scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Arvidsson extended his point streak to six games (three goals, four assists) with the tally at 3:45 of the first period. The 32-year-old winger is up to 10 goals, 24 points, 97 shots on net and a plus-8 rating through 36 appearances. He was unremarkable early on, but he's bounced back well since his second injury absence, and he looks good in a second-line role.

  • David Pastrnak RW | BOS

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Reaches 20-goal mark

Pastrnak scored a power-play empty-net goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Pastrnak has seven goals and 19 points over his last 12 outings, including six power-play points. The 29-year-old put a bow on this win for the Bruins and secured a 20-goal season in the process, a mark he's reached in every year since 2016-17. He's now at 57 points (21 on the power play), 152 shots on net, 51 hits, 32 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 43 appearances.

  • Predators' Andreas Englund: Called up Friday

Englund was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Friday.

Englund's promotion to the NHL roster comes as Adam Wilsby (lower body) and Nicolas Hague (illness) are both in doubt for Friday's clash with Colorado. Unless one of the pair is cleared prior to puck drop, Englund could make his 2025-26 season debut. In the minors, the blueliner has notched two goals and four assists in 30 games, so fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting much from him in terms of offensive production.

  • Zeev Buium D | VAN

Canucks' Zeev Buium: Nabs power-play helper

Buium logged a power-play assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Buium has done alright since joining the Canucks in the Quinn Hughes trade, picking up a goal and four assists over 15 appearances. Buium was scratched once with his new team, so he may not have full security in the lineup, but Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Victor Mancini and Tom Willander all appear to be at more risk of trips to the press box. On the season, Buium has 19 points, 43 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 14 PIM, 15 hits and a minus-16 rating across 46 appearances between Vancouver and Minnesota.

  • Blue Jackets' Damon Severson: Pockets assist after absence

Severson logged an assist and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.

Severson missed one game due to an illness, and he snapped a five-game slump in his return to the lineup. The 31-year-old appeared to have no limitations in his return to a top-four role. For the season, he's produced three goals, 18 points, 59 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 31 hits and 26 PIM over 46 outings.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

    Avalanche's Ross Colton: Playing Friday

Colton (upper body) will be in the lineup versus the Predators on Friday, Conor McGahey of Altitude TV reports.

Colton was in doubt for Friday's clash but seems to be good to go after shaking off his upper-body issue. The 29-year-old forward might be the veteran piece of the Avs' fourth line alongside Ivan Ivan and Zakhar Bardakov. Without a role further up the depth chart, Colton is unlikely to offer more than mid-range fantasy value at best.

  • Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Reaches 30-point mark

Coyle scored a power-play goal on eight shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.

Coyle opened the scoring at 17:25 of the first period, and the Blue Jackets' lead was never threatened. The 33-year-old has four goals, including two on the power play, and one assist over his last three outings, and he's added 18 shots in that span. For the season, the center is up to 10 goals, 30 points (five on the power play), 79 shots on net, 64 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. He's playing a bigger game than his third-line role would suggest, giving him a chance to exceed the 50-point mark for the third time in his career.

  • Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Tallies on power play

Werenski scored a power-play goal on five shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.

Werenski has earned four goals and seven assists over eight outings in January. His last two goals have come with the man advantage, where he continues to see ample time on the first unit. The star defenseman is up to 18 goals, 51 points, 160 shots on net, 58 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 43 appearances.
