  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Exits ice first Wednesday

Kuemper was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports, indicating he'll be between the pipes at home versus Vegas on Wednesday.

Kuemper has lost three straight outings, going 0-2-1 with a 4.08 GAA and an .820 save percentage. Since returning from an upper-body issue, the veteran netminder has conceded four or more goals in four of his six appearances. If Kuemper continues to struggle, the Kings may need to consider giving Anton Forsberg some extra work to hold on to a playoff spot.

  • Colin Miller D | WPG

    Jets' Colin Miller: Is week-to-week

Miller (lower body) is considered week-to-week, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports Wednesday.

Miller has an assist in 15 appearances in 2025-26. He was placed on injured reserve Monday because of the injury. Isaak Phillips was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Monday in a move that corresponded with Miller going on IR.

  • Neal Pionk D | WPG

    Jets' Neal Pionk: Deemed week-to-week

Pionk (lower body) is week-to-week, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports Wednesday.

Pionk aggravated the lower-body injury he sustained against Edmonton on Jan. 8 after he fell in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders. The blueliner hasn't scored a goal since Dec. 15 versus the Senators. During his slump, Pionk managed just two assists and could be in danger of missing the 30-point threshold for the first time since the 2018-19 regular season, especially if he misses significant time due to injury.

  • Haydn Fleury D | WPG

    Jets' Haydn Fleury: Considered week-to-week

Head coach Scott Arniel said Wednesday that Fleury (upper body) is considered week-to-week, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Fleury has spent the past week on injured reserve, and he doesn't appear to be particularly close to returning to game action. He was taken off the ice on a stretcher during last week's game against the Golden Knights and subsequently hospitalized, but he was released from the hospital and returned to team meetings a day later. It's not yet clear whether Fleury will be in the mix to suit up for games before the Olympic break in February.

  • Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Unavailable for Thursday

Teravainen (upper body) will miss Thursday's game against Calgary, per Scott Powers of The Athletic.

Teravainen exited Monday's 4-1 loss to Edmonton because of the injury. He has nine goals and 21 points in 45 outings in 2025-26. Teravainen's exit from the lineup is set to coincide with Connor Bedard's return after missing Monday's clash due to an illness.

  • Matthew Wood RW | NSH

Predators' Matthew Wood: Chips in with assist

Wood notched an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers.

Wood set up Erik Haula's second-period tally. While he earned an assist, Wood is still in a 16-game goal drought, a span in which he has just three helpers, 19 shots on net and a plus-4 rating. He was also scratched twice during that stretch, meaning his place in the lineup is far from secure. Wood is at 15 points, 60 shots on net, 25 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 37 appearances this season.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Activated off IR

Blackwood (lower body) was activated off injured reserve Wednesday.

The Avalanche assigned Trent Miner to AHL Colorado in a corresponding move. Blackwood will rejoin the Avalanche ahead of Friday's contest against Nashville. Blackwood missed six games due to a lower-body injury, and he'll look to continue his elite season following his absence. He has a 13-1-1 record, a 2.07 GAA and a .924 save percentage through 15 outings this season.

  • Blues' Dalibor Dvorsky: Nets goal Tuesday

Dvorsky scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Hurricanes.

Dvorsky ended a five-game point drought with the tally. The 20-year-old is set for a larger role as long as Robert Thomas (lower body) is out. Dvorsky is at seven goals, three assists, 48 shots on net, 56 hits and a minus-6 rating over 37 appearances so far this season.

  • Blues' Jimmy Snuggerud: Strikes on power play

Snuggerud scored a power-play goal on five shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Hurricanes.

Snuggerud has two goals and two assists over nine contests since he returned from a wrist injury. The 21-year-old is back in a top-six role and may be relied on for more offense while Robert Thomas (lower body) is out. For the season, Snuggerud has produced seven goals, 15 points (five on the power play), 72 shots on net, 40 hits, 21 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 35 appearances. There's potential in his game, but the Blues have the worst offense in the league through Tuesday's action, which has limited the rookie's upside.

  • Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Deposits empty-netter

Kastelic scored an empty-net goal in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Red Wings.

Kastelic ended a 15-game goal drought with the empty-netter. He had two assists, 44 hits and 49 PIM over that span. The 26-year-old has occupied a bottom-six role for most of the season, so it's no surprise that his scoring contributions are limited. He's put up 14 points -- matching his career-high total from last year -- while adding 62 shots on net, 124 hits, 99 PIM, 41 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating. Kastelic plays tough enough to help in deep fantasy formats.
