Chris Kreider LW | ANA
Ducks' Chris Kreider: Dealing with illness
Kreider (illness) won't play against Minnesota on Tuesday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Kreider will miss at least one game, but he could return in Thursday's regular-season finale against Nashville. He has 22 goals, 50 points and 138 shots on net in 74 appearances this campaign.

Radko Gudas D | ANA
Ducks' Radko Gudas: Not in lineup Tuesday
Gudas (lower body) is not expected to play Tuesday versus the Wild, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Gudas has been battling a lower-body injury recently, but he played Sunday versus the Canucks. The 35-year-old defenseman will be one of a few players out of action Tuesday, though the Ducks are not making wholesale changes since they still have positioning to play for in the Pacific Division.

Roope Hintz LW | DAL
Stars' Roope Hintz: Will miss two playoff games
Hintz (lower body) won't be available for the first two games of the Stars' playoff run, Robert Tiffin of D Magazine reports Tuesday.
That effectively rules out Hintz for at least another week. Head coach Glen Gulutzan didn't sound optimistic about Hintz's status beyond that, which could endanger his participation in the rest of the first round.

Zach Bogosian D | MIN
Wild's Zach Bogosian: Still out after road trip
Bogosian (lower body) won't play Tuesday versus the Ducks, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.
Bogosian will miss his sixth straight game to end the regular season. Unlike many of the Wild's other absences, Bogosian is still battling an injury. Even when healthy, it's unclear if he'll unseat Jeff Petry for a third-pairing job in the playoffs.

Frederik Andersen G | CAR
Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Roster technicality causes absence
Andersen was unavailable for Tuesday's game versus the Islanders due to a roster technicality, per the Islanders' game broadcast.
The Hurricanes really bungled their roster for this one. They intended to have Pyotr Kochetkov start, and he was on the ice for warmups but was not eligible to suit up. However, since he was dressed for warmups, that made Andersen ineligible to suit up. Andersen is apparently fine ahead of the postseason, but it's unclear how much he'll play now that Kochetkov is healthy and Brandon Bussi has shown skill to get wins throughout the campaign.

Frederik Andersen G | CAR
Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Not available Tuesday
Andersen (undisclosed) won't dress for Tuesday's game versus the Islanders.
Andersen was unavailable to dress and Pyotr Kochetkov was unavailable due to a roster technicality, leaving the Hurricanes with just one of their three goalies in uniform. Brandon Bussi will start the regular-season finale. Andersen may not see much time in the playoffs, but he may be able to suit up as the backup goalie depending on the severity of whatever issue he's dealing with.

Brock Faber D | MIN
Wild's Brock Faber: Gets day off Tuesday
Faber (rest) will not play in Tuesday's home clash against the Ducks, per Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News.
With the Wild's spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs practically set in stone, Faber will have Tuesday's game off to be well rested for Game 1 of the team's first-round matchup. Overall, the 23-year-old blueliner has 15 goals, 51 points, 173 shots on net and 148 blocked shots across 80 games this season. He'll wrap up the 2025-26 regular season with career highs in goals and points. He'll likely return to his usual defensive assignment alongside Quinn Hughes when the Wild play the Stars in the first round of the playoffs.
-
Jared Spurgeon D | MIN
Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Not playing Tuesday
Spurgeon (rest) won't be in the lineup against Anaheim on Tuesday, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.
Spurgeon played in Monday's 6-3 defeat against St. Louis after sitting out Saturday's 2-1 loss to Nashville. He will get some additional rest before the start of the playoffs. Spurgeon will finish the 2025-26 regular season with six goals, 22 points, 90 shots on net, 137 blocked shots and 82 hits in 79 outings.
-
Marcus Foligno LW | MIN
Wild's Marcus Foligno: Out again Tuesday
Foligno (rest) won't play Tuesday versus the Ducks, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.
Foligno will miss a second straight game to close out the regular season. The 34-year-old winger will likely return for Game 1 of the playoffs versus the Stars. He should see bottom-six minutes, though he's not a lock to be in the lineup.
-
Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Wild's Quinn Hughes: Remains out for rest
Hughes (rest) won't play Tuesday versus the Ducks, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.
Hughes ends the regular season at 76 points in 74 appearances between Minnesota and Vancouver. Considering he also averaged 27:44 of ice time per game, it makes sense that the Wild will give him a full week off ahead of the playoffs.
