Slavin skipped Thursday's game against Chicago, likely so that he could get a breather ahead of the playoffs. He has a goal and seven points in 38 appearances with Carolina in 2025-26.

Josi (upper body) will play against Minnesota on Saturday, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

Josi will return to the lineup after being a late scratch for Thursday's 4-1 loss to Utah. He has amassed 13 goals, 54 points, 176 shots on net and 99 blocked shots in 66 appearances this season.

Martinook (undisclosed) will play Saturday versus Utah, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

Martinook missed Thursday's game against Chicago to get some rest ahead of the playoffs. He has 12 goals and 27 points in 74 outings in 2025-26.

Hague remains day-to-day and will miss his fourth straight game. He has three goals, 15 points, 56 shots on net, 54 blocked shots and 76 hits in 62 appearances this season.

Svechnikov will join Seth Jarvis (undisclosed) and Sebastian Aho (undisclosed) on the top line Saturday. All three forwards missed Thursday's game against Chicago, as the Hurricanes have been resting veteran players before the playoffs.

Jarvis is set to skate alongside Sebastian Aho (undisclosed) and Andrei Svechnikov (undisclosed) on the top line Saturday. All three of those forwards missed Thursday's game against Chicago, likely for roster-management reasons. Carolina is focused on resting veterans ahead of the playoffs.

Marino (upper body) is day-to-day and won't play against Carolina on Saturday.

Marino will miss at least one game, and Dmitri Simashev will suit up against the Hurricanes on Saturday. Marino has supplied four goals, 35 points, 53 shots on net and 67 blocked shots across 78 appearances this season.

Aho (undisclosed) will draw back into the lineup for Saturday's game against Utah, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

After presumably being rested for Thursday's 7-2 win over Chicago, Aho will return to a top-line role against the Blues on Saturday. Carolina has been moving plenty of veteran players in and out of the lineup after clinching the Metropolitan Division.

Vejmelka will patrol the home crease against Carolina on Saturday.

Vladar is expected to start on the road against Winnipeg on Saturday.

Vladar has a 27-14-7 record, 2.47 GAA and .904 save percentage in 50 appearances in 2025-26. He saw his three-game winning streak come to an end when he allowed four goals on eight shots in 24:56 of ice time en route to a 6-3 loss to Detroit on Thursday. The Jets rank 24th in goals per game with 2.85 this season.
