The 31-year-old blueliner is having a career year in many major stat categories, and with three games remaining in the regular season, he needs just one point to surpass his current career high. He offers excellent category coverage for fantasy purposes and is a strong waiver-wire pickup for the remainder of the season in leagues where he isn't already rostered.

    Stankoven tallied two goals, recorded an assist and put two shots on net in Thursday's 7-2 win over Chicago.

    Stankoven scored two of Carolina's first three goals, including Thursday''s game-winning tally. He also picked up a secondary helper on Taylor Hall's twine finder midway through the third period. Overall, Stankoven is up to 21 goals, 21 assists, 161 shots on net, 49 hits and 21 blocked shots through 79 games this season. The 23-year-old center has been on fire of late with seven goals and nine points over his last six games. He's a must-roster player for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs while the Hurricanes look to secure the No. 1 overall seed in the Eastern Conference.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Struggles continue Thursday

    Knight stopped 15 of 22 shots on goal in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

    Knight lost his seventh consecutive outing Thursday and allowed a season-high seven goals. Overall, the 24-year-old netminder has an 18-24-11 record, a 2.80 GAA and a .904 save percentage across 53 appearances this season. His first full campaign in Chicago has been relatively positive, with a majority of his recent losses coming after the Blackhawks were eliminated from playoff contention. He's a risky start outside of deep leagues for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Solid showing in landslide win

    Andersen turned aside 23 of 25 shots on net in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Blackhawks.

    With the victory, Andersen is up to a 15-14-5 record, a 3.11 GAA and an .871 save percentage across 34 appearances this season. Since the Olympics, he has found the win column much more frequently with an 8-4-0 record over his last 12 outings. His save percentage has fluctuated throughout the majority of the season, but his recent wins have elevated him back to fantasy viability in most deep leagues.

  • Red Wings' Michal Postava: Elevated from minors

    Postava was recalled from AHL Grand Rapids on Friday.

    Postava's promotion comes as John Gibson (neck) was injured against the Flyers on Thursday. Even with the 24-year-old Postava joining the NHL club, he is unlikely to get into any games, with Cam Talbot set to fill in between the pipes if Gibson is unable to play.

  • Blues' Colton Parayko: Grabs goal in loss

    Parayko scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Jets.

    Parayko netted the lone tally of Thursday's third period to bring the Blues within one goal. Despite struggling to find the back of the net this year after his career year for goals a season ago, Thursday's twine finder was his second across his last four games. He's trending in the right direction offensively and now has 17 points, 99 shots on net, 92 hits and 168 blocked shots through 73 games this season. Parayko offers strong fantasy value for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs in leagues that place a premium on category coverage.

    Blues' Dylan Holloway: One of each Thursday

    Holloway tallied a power-play goal, recorded an assist and put two shots on net in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Winnipeg.

    Holloway lit the lamp for Thursday's opening goal on a power play just under five minutes into the first period. He later picked up a secondary helper on Colton Parayko's goal in the third. Since the Olympic break, Holloway has been in elite form with 12 goals, 16 assists, 70 shots on net, 34 hits and 12 blocks across 21 games. With 28 points since Feb. 26, he's tied for 10th in the NHL in scoring during that span. St. Louis hasn't officially been eliminated from postseason contention yet, and while they would need some help to claim a wild-card spot, Holloway should continue to provide elite fantasy value in nearly all league formats for the remainder of the campaign.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Adds two helpers in win

    Scheifele supplied two assists in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Blues.

    Scheifele picked up a helper on each of Winnipeg's first two goals Thursday, which extended his multi-assist streak to three games. The 33-year-old center has been dominant since March 24 with 16 points, which ranks third in the NHL during that time. Overall, he sits just one point shy of his first career 100-point campaign with 34 goals and 65 assists through 78 games. He'll likely hit the century mark and more throughout the remainder of the regular season, giving him a strong chance to finish among the league's top-five scorers.

  • Jets' Jonathan Toews: Lights lamp Thursday

    Toews tallied a goal and put two shots on net in Thursday's 3-2 win over St. Louis.

    Toews struck the back of the net to put the Jets up 3-1 just under two minutes after Josh Morrissey's goal in the second period. Overall, Toews now has 11 goals, 28 points, 104 shots on net and 31 blocked shots through 78 appearances this season. The 37-year-old forward has displayed excellent durability this season, having yet to miss a game for the Jets after not playing in the NHL for two years due to health issues. He's also been heating up offensively of late with four goals and seven points over his last 12 games, giving him solid streaming value in deep fantasy leagues for the remainder of the regular season.
