Trevor Zegras C | PHI
Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Pots goal in win
Zegras scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Zegras has gotten on the scoresheet in three straight contests, earning a goal and two assists in that span. The 24-year-old's second-period tally Wednesday stood as the game-winner. He's up to 22 goals, 53 points, 136 shots on net, 31 hits, 42 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 64 appearances. Zegras remains on track to top the 60-point mark for the third time in his career, and his personal best of 65 points from 2022-23 with the Ducks is very much within range as well.

Owen Tippett RW | PHI
Flyers' Owen Tippett: Pair of points in win
Tippett scored a goal on six shots, added an assist, went plus-2 and logged two hits in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Tippett hadn't posted a multi-point effort since Jan. 23 versus the Avalanche, when he had a hat trick and an assist. He's earned four points over eight outings since the Olympic break. The 27-year-old winger continues to see top-six minutes, so there is some upside to be had if Wednesday's effort sparks his offense. He's at 21 goals, 39 points, 166 shots on net, 128 hits and a minus-10 rating over 64 appearances this season.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Secures win over Capitals
Ersson stopped 21 of 22 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Ersson has won his last two starts, and he's allowed just three goals on 49 shots over his three appearances since the Olympic break. The 26-year-old's improved play could make the Flyers more comfortable with giving Dan Vladar the occasional rest. Ersson is up to 10-10-5 with a 3.30 GAA and an .863 save percentage over 27 appearances, so he still carries some risk. Expect Vladar to get the nod for Thursday's road game in Minnesota.

Jan Chovan C | LA
Kings' Jan Chovan: Three-point effort for Sudbury
Chovan scored twice and added an assist in OHL Sudbury's 5-4 win over Oshawa on Wednesday.
Chovan has earned nine points over his last nine contests. Through 56 games this season, he has 25 goals and 25 assists, though he's also carrying a minus-27 rating. The Kings prospect has adjusted well to the OHL. He hasn't signed his entry-level deal yet, so he has some options available for where he'll play in 2026-27.

Scott Morrow D | NYR
Rangers' Scott Morrow: Two goals for Hartford
Morrow scored twice for AHL Hartford's 3-2 loss to Cleveland on Wednesday.
Morrow has been back in the AHL in four games, earning two goals and two assists. He has nine points over 18 outings with Hartford, as well as six assists through 29 appearances for the Rangers. It wouldn't be surprising to see the 23-year-old get another look in the NHL before the end of the campaign.

Cole Caufield RW | MON
Canadiens' Cole Caufield: Not suiting up Wednesday
Caufield (illness) won't be in the lineup Wednesday versus the Senators, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Caufield was under the weather in the third period of Tuesday's contest versus the Maple Leafs. The 25-year-old will miss at least one game. The Canadiens have two days off before hosting the Sharks on Saturday, giving him some additional time to recover. Alexandre Texier will replace Caufield in Wednesday's lineup.

Eduards Tralmaks RW | DET
Red Wings' Eduards Tralmaks: Promoted from minors
Tralmaks was called up from AHL Grand Rapids under emergency conditions Wednesday.
Tralmaks has 18 goals and 28 points in 49 appearances with Grand Rapids in 2025-26. The 29-year-old also represented Latvia in the 2026 Winter Olympics, scoring three goals and four points across four outings. Tralmaks hasn't made his NHL debut.

John Leonard LW | DET
Red Wings' John Leonard: Recalled Wednesday
Leonard was promoted from AHL Grand Rapids under emergency conditions Wednesday.
Leonard has 27 goals and 41 points in 34 outings with Grand Rapids in 2025-26. He's also appeared in nine outings with Detroit this season, collecting two goals and four points.
-
Sheldon Dries C | DET
Red Wings' Sheldon Dries: Up from minors
Dries was called up from AHL Grand Rapids on Wednesday under emergency conditions.
Dries has 20 goals and 27 points in 48 appearances with AHL Grand Rapids in 2025-26. He's a veteran of 122 regular-season NHL games, but he hasn't played at the top level since the 2022-23 campaign. If Dries draws into the lineup Thursday in Tampa Bay, it will probably be as a member of the bottom six.

Anton Frondell C | CHI
Blackhawks' Anton Frondell: Reaches 25-point mark in SHL
Frondell scored a goal in Djurgardens' 6-4 win over Vaxjo on Tuesday in the SHL.
With the goal, Frondell has 18 tallies and 25 points through 41 appearances this season. That's an excellent level of production for an 18-year-old playing in the SHL, and it's a showcase of the high-quality shot that made him the No. 3 overall pick in 2025. Frondell seems likely to get a look in training camp with the Blackhawks ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, though no official decision has been made as to where he'll start next season.
