  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: In goal Wednesday

    Stolarz will protect the home goal versus the Capitals on Wednesday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

    Stolarz will make his third appearance in four games. However, he has an .875 save percentage over his previous two outings, allowing seven goals on 56 shots in that span. Washington has 28 goals over its last six games and is coming off an 8-1 loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

    Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Remains out Wednesday

    Ostlund (upper body) won't play Wednesday versus the Rangers, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.

    Ostlund will miss his seventh straight game Wednesday. The 22-year-old's status for Thursday versus the Blue Jackets has yet to be determined. Given the Sabres have already secured a playoff spot, they likely won't be interested in rushing Ostlund back into the lineup. He was a regular in the lineup prior to his injury, but he may not get steady playing time once healthy.

  • Panthers' Ludvig Jansson: Promoted Wednesday

    Jansson was summoned from AHL Charlotte on Wednesday, per the AHL transactions page.

    Jansson has three goals and 10 points in 29 outings with Charlotte in 2025-26. He hasn't made his NHL debut, but he might get a shot during this stint. Florida is missing defensemen Uvis Balinskis (foot), Aaron Ekblad (finger), Dmitry Kulikov (finger) and Niko Mikkola (knee).

  • Panthers' Mikulas Hovorka: Recalled by Florida

    Hovorka was recalled from AHL Charlotte on Wednesday.

    A day after being sent down by the Panthers, Hovorka will rejoin the NHL club with a week remaining in the regular season. Across three appearances with Florida this year, Hovorka has been held without a point while recording three hits and a blocked shot.

  • Hurricanes' Charles-Alexis Legault: Up from AHL

    Legault was recalled from AHL Chicago on Wednesday.

    Legault has three goals, seven points and 48 PIM in 22 appearances with AHL Chicago in 2025-26. He also has a goal, two points and 10 PIM in eight outings with Carolina this campaign.

    Hurricanes' Josiah Slavin: Recalled by Carolina

    Slavin was recalled from AHL Chicago on Wednesday.

    Across 66 regular-season AHL appearances this year, Slavin has recorded six goals, 19 assists and 26 PIM. He could make his Carolina debut as early as Thursday against the Blackhawks. The 27-year-old forward had one assist in 15 NHL outings with Chicago in 2021-22.

  • Bradly Nadeau LW | CAR

    Hurricanes' Bradly Nadeau: Recalled Wednesday

    Nadeau was promoted from AHL Chicago on Wednesday.

    Nadeau has 26 goals and 53 points in 51 AHL outings with Chicago in 2025-26. He also has two goals in eight appearances with Carolina this season.

  • Hurricanes' Skyler Brind'Amour: Up from minors

    Brind'Amour was called up from AHL Chicago on Wednesday.

    Brind'Amour has 16 goals, 34 points and 34 PIM in 66 outings with AHL Chicago in 2025-26. Although the 26-year-old hasn't appeared in an NHL game yet this campaign, he did score a goal in two regular-season appearances with Carolina in 2024-25.

  • James Hagens C | BOS

    Bruins' James Hagens: Inks entry-level deal

    Hagens signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Boston on Wednesday.

    Hagens is expected to report to Boston, per Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe, and 2025-26 will count as the start of the contract. The 19-year-old Hagens had 23 goals and 47 points in 34 outings with Boston College as a sophomore this campaign. He then joined AHL Providence on an amateur tryout contract, collecting a goal and four points in six appearances. Hagens was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

  • Kings' Andrei Kuzmenko: Will be reevaluated in 7-8 days

    Kuzmenko (knee) is making strides in his recovery and will be reevaluated in 7-8 days, Alexander Legget of Mayors Manor reports Wednesday.

    Kuzmenko was previously ruled out for the remainder of the regular season, but this latest update would leave the door open for him to play in the season finale versus the Flames on April 16. In his 15 games before getting hurt, the 30-year-old winger notched four goals and five assists, including five power-play points.
