  • Blue Jackets' Mason Marchment: Delivers two helpers in loss

Marchment notched two assists, two PIM, three hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

Marchment has three multi-point efforts over his last five games, earning two goals and four assists in that span. The 30-year-old looks like a good fit on a line with Adam Fantilli and Kirill Marchenko, which has been Columbus' top trio recently. Marchment is up to 40 points (18 goals, 22 helpers), 108 shots on net, 79 hits, 54 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 62 appearances between the Blue Jackets and the Kraken this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Ends goal drought

Fantilli scored a goal on five shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

Fantilli has gone six games without a goal, picking up three assists, 10 shots on net and 18 hits in that span. The 21-year-old ended the slump early in the third period, closing out March with seven goals and 16 points over 17 appearances. For the season, the center is up to 22 goals, a career-high 55 points, 199 shots on net, 127 hits, 46 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 75 outings. Fantilli is a strong fantasy option to close out the campaign, especially if he stays on the top line.

  • Jamie Benn LW | DAL

Stars' Jamie Benn: First goal in 10 games

Benn scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to the Bruins.

It was Benn's first goal in 10 games (four assists). It got the Stars on the board early in the second period and drew them to within 2-1. Benn's game has changed at 36, but he can still help in spurts like he did leading into and coming out of the Olympics. He went into that break on a four-game, eight-point streak that included two goals, and he had seven points (five goals, two assists) in the eight games right after. However, that seems to have dried up. Benn remains a daily option from the wire if and when he heats up again.

  • Blue Jackets' Kirill Marchenko: Goal, assist in loss

Marchenko scored a goal on five shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

Marchenko ended his eight-game goal drought at 15:14 of the second period. The winger had four assists in that span, and this was his second straight multi-point effort, which suggests he's heating up again. For the season, the 25-year-old is at 26 goals, 63 points, 201 shots on net, 53 hits, 38 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 69 appearances.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Loses to Hurricanes

Greaves allowed four goals on 30 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Greaves hadn't allowed more than three goals in any of his previous seven outings. The results are starting to fade for the 25-year-old, who is 1-3-1 with 12 goals allowed on 137 shots over his last five contests. His performance is still steady, which has helped him earn a 24-15-9 record with a 2.59 GAA and a .909 save percentage through 49 appearances this season. Greaves is still a tough fantasy play for Thursday's rematch with the Hurricanes in Carolina.

  • Hurricanes' Jordan Martinook: Fills empty cage

Martinook scored a shorthanded empty-net goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Martinook's last two goals have been shorties, and he has three of them this season. The 33-year-old winger is up to 11 goals, 25 points, 103 shots on net, 111 hits, 33 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 71 outings. Martinook continues to handle third-line minutes at even strength, but it looks like he'll fall short of the 30-point mark for the first time since 2021-22, barring a late surge of offense.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: NHL's best power-play sniper

Johnston had a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to Boston.

Johnston's goal came on the power play at 19:02 of the third period to pull the Stars to within 5-3, but it was too little, too late. The goal was Johnston's 41st of the season, which moves him into sole possession of the team lead in that category. He has 80 points (75 games) for the first time in his career and sits second behind Jason Robertson on the Stars' scoring list. Perhaps most impressively, Johnston sits at the top of the NHL in power-play goals. He has 25, and the next closest player (Pavel Dorofeyev) has 18.

  • Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Nets power-play marker

Stankoven scored a power-play goal and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Stankoven ended a five-game goal drought with his tally at 16:12 of the first period. The 23-year-old was limited to one assist in that span, though he had three goals and an assist in the five contests before that. Stankoven is up to 15 goals, 34 points, 148 shots on net, 44 hits, 25 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 74 appearances. His production is just about the same as what he did last year between Carolina and Dallas, making him a decent fantasy depth forward with some upside still yet to materialize.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Opens scoring on power play

Gostisbehere scored a power-play goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Gostisbehere has three points over three games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old continues to be productive on the first power-play unit, which is where he's earned 16 of his 46 points this season. He's added 105 shots on net, 56 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 48 appearances despite numerous absences due to his recurring injury. He has yet to go two straight months without missing time this season, which could make him risky in playoff pools.

  • Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Second straight win

Korpisalo made 13 saves in a 6-3 win over the Stars on Tuesday.

The game was never in doubt for the Bruins -- they played a strong and smothering team game, and Korpisalo was solid when he needed to be. He has won two straight games and is 3-1-2 in six starts since the Olympic break. Korpisalo may get a few extra starts before season's end to ensure Jeremy Swayman is rested and ready for the postseason. Deploy Korpisalo if you need wins or overtime losses, but beware the goals against and save percentage traps. In his last nine starts, Korpisalo has allowed three or more goals in eight of those games and four or more in five.
