    Sharks' Ryan Reaves: Suffers hand injury

    Reaves sustained an injury to his left hand during Saturday's 4-1 loss to Philadelphia.

    Reaves suffered the injury during the first period. He didn't take another shift after getting hurt, but he did remain on the bench. Head coach Ryan Warsofsky didn't have an update on Reaves' status after the game. If Reaves can't play Tuesday in Nashville, then Pavol Regenda will probably draw back into the lineup.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Eight-game, 10-point streak

    Rakell scored a goal and added another in the shootout in a 5-4 win over the Jets on Saturday.

    The points extended Rakell's scoring streak to eight games and 10 points, including seven assists. Four of those helpers have come on the power play. Overall, Rakell has 14 goals, 21 assists and 127 shots in 48 games this season.

    Rust delivered two assists in a 5-4 shootout win over Winnipeg on Saturday.

He now has put up points in 11 of his last 12 games (seven goals, nine assists). Overall, Rust has 56 points (26 goals, 30 assists; 162 shots) in 62 games this season. He has put up at least 56 points in each of his last three seasons and in five of his last seven.

However, Silovs' save percentage in that span is just .884, courtesy of four games with at least four goals allowed.

    Wotherspoon had two assists in a 5-4 shootout win over Winnipeg on Saturday.

    Wotherspoon is on a four-game, six-assist scoring streak. He's been a bit of an offensive revelation this season. Wotherspoon has three goals and 23 assists in 69 games, which, when combined with 144 hits and 103 blocks, makes him a solid multi-category consideration for leagues that count those stats. He doesn't get power-play time, but those other stats will help regardless.

  • Red Wings' Michael Brandsegg-Nygard: Slated to miss Saturday's game

    Brandsegg-Nygard (undisclosed) is slated to miss Saturday's game against Boston, per Max Bultman of The Athletic.

    Brandsegg-Nygard also missed Detroit's previous three games. He has an assist in NHL 12 outings during the 2025-26 campaign. Brandsegg-Nygard participated in Saturday's morning skate and might serve in a bottom-six capacity once he's healthy.

    Chinakhov had a goal and an assist in a 5-4 shootout win over the Jets on Saturday.

    Chinakhov's goal, which opened the scoring, was his 100th career point in his 235th regular-season game. His assist in Saturday's contest gave him 30 points this campaign, setting a new career high. The winger has five points, four assists and 11 shots in his last four games.

Stolarz has an 8-9-3 record, 3.34 GAA and .894 save percentage in 22 outings in 2025-26.
