  • Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Deposits empty-netter

Nichushkin scored an empty-net goal and added two hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild in Game 2.

Nichushkin ended a 10-game goal drought with the empty-netter at 19:55 of the third period. After getting held scoreless in the Avalanche's first-round sweep of the Kings, Nichushkin has three points over two outings against the Wild in the second round. The winger has added six shots on net, five hits and a plus-2 rating over six playoff contests.

  • Avalanche's Gabriel Landeskog: Earns two power-play points

Landeskog scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild in Game 2.

Landeskog extended his point streak to five games with this effort. He's up to three goals, four helpers, 10 shots on net, 21 hits, six blocked shots and a plus-4 rating across six playoff contests. Landeskog has moved around the lineup a bit but saw a postseason-best 19:54 of ice time Tuesday. He should be good for middle-six minutes at a minimum.

  • Martin Necas C | COL

Avalanche's Martin Necas: Goal, assist in Game 2 win

Necas scored a goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild in Game 2.

The tally, which came at 2:51 of the first period, was Necas' first goal this postseason. He's added six helpers, 18 shots on net, nine hits and a plus-7 rating over six appearances. While Necas isn't filling the net much on his own, he remains in a top-line role that should lead to plenty of offense.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Third straight three-point effort

MacKinnon scored a goal on five shots, dished two assists and added two hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild in Game 2.

MacKinnon's goal and one of his helpers came on the power play. The 30-year-old has rattled off three consecutive three-point games, which is more or less what's come to be expected of him in the playoffs. He's at four goals, six helpers, 21 shots on net, six hits and a plus-7 rating across six postseason contests.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Stays undefeated in playoffs

Wedgewood stopped 29 of 31 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild in Game 2.

This game started where the previous one left off, but the Avalanche were able to get control and keep the Wild at bay. Wedgewood came away with his 10th straight win overall, which includes all six playoff contests so far. He has added a 2.12 GAA and a .923 save percentage. With some time off before Game 3 on Saturday in Minnesota, Wedgewood should be rested and ready to go as he looks to keep his winning streak going.

  • Ryan Suzuki C | CAR

Hurricanes' Ryan Suzuki: Hat trick in AHL series-clincher

Suzuki scored three goals in AHL Chicago's 6-1 win over Texas in Game 5 on Tuesday.

Suzuki is up to four goals, two assists and 16 shots on net over five playoff games. The center had 48 points over 66 regular-season outings. With Tuesday's win, Suzuki and the Wolves are through to the Central Division Finals, so it'll be awhile before he's a potential call-up to the Hurricanes.

  • Calle Rosen D | STL

Blues' Calle Rosen: Scores twice for Springfield

Rosen scored two goals in AHL Springfield's 3-2 overtime win over Providence in Game 3 on Tuesday.

Rosen is up to three goals, one assist and a plus-4 rating over six playoff contests. The defenseman got back to his usual level of production this year, earning 38 points over 70 regular-season outings between Springfield and Hershey. He impressed enough to earn a two-year, two-way contract extension with the Blues back in March, so he'll at least be a part of their organizational depth moving forward.

  • Sammy Blais LW | MON

Canadiens' Sammy Blais: Nets pair of goals for Rocket

Blais scored twice in AHL Laval's 4-0 win over Toronto in Game 4 on Tuesday.

Blais now has three goals, 14 shots and 18 PIM across four playoff contests. The winger put up 38 points across 35 regular-season games for Laval in 2025-26. Barring injuries to Montreal's forwards, he's likely to stay in the AHL as long as the Rocket are alive in the postseason.

  • Canadiens' Kaapo Kahkonen: Posts shutout in AHL playoffs

Kahkonen posted an 18-save shutout in AHL Laval's 4-0 win over Toronto in Game 4 on Tuesday.

Kahkonen didn't have a shutout during the AHL regular season, but he went 21-9-7 with a 2.73 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 38 appearances. The Finnish goalie has operated as Laval's primary option between the pipes during the playoffs, as Jacob Fowler is with the Canadiens during their postseason run.

  • Tristan Broz C | PIT

Penguins' Tristan Broz: Three helpers in win

Broz notched three assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 4-3 overtime win over Hershey in Game 3 on Tuesday.

Broz got on the scoresheet for the first time this postseason with this performance. The forward logged 39 points over 47 regular-season appearances in the AHL and also made his NHL debut back in November. Broz will likely be in contention for more NHL minutes in 2026-27, but he'll probably need more time with the farm team as well.
