  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Records three power-play points

Jarvis recorded a goal and two assists, all on the power play, in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Penguins.

The Hurricanes went 3-for-5 on the power play in this win, and every time they inflicted damage, Jarvis was involved. The 24-year-old forward seems to have left behind a slow start to March since he's notched six points (one goal, five assists) amid a three-game point streak. For the sake of comparison, he recorded just seven points (two goals, five assists) in his previous eight outings in March before this streak. Jarvis should continue to find ample ways to crack the scoresheet as long as he continues to play on the top line in both even-strength and power-play situations.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Beaten once in comfortable win

Andersen stopped 18 of 19 shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Penguins.

Andersen was coming off five straight outings in which he'd posted a save percentage below .900, so this was a nice bounce-back effort for the 36-year-old veteran. He should remain the Hurricanes' No. 2 option behind Brandon Bussi, though, meaning his upside for the fantasy playoffs will be limited and strictly matchup-based.

  • Stars' Justin Hryckowian: Finds twine in loss

Hryckowian scored a goal and put out four hits in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Hryckowian gave the Stars a lead late in the first period off feeds from his linemates Colin Blackwell and Sam Steel. With the tally, Hryckowian is up to 11 goals, 24 points, 71 shots on net, 106 hits and 33 blocked shots through 69 games this season. The 25-year-old center's first full season in the NHL has allowed him to showcase his strong all-around play style. He has five points over the last nine games to go along with 16 shots on net, 16 hits and eight blocked shots. He's emerging as a solid option in deep leagues that value category coverage.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Picks up power-play goal

Johnston tallied a power-play goal on two shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Vegas.

Johnston got back on the scoresheet in Sunday's game with his power-play goal midway through the first period. Overall, the 22-year-old center has 38 goals, 75 points, 181 shots on net, 41 hits and 49 blocked shots across 70 games this season. While he's already passed his career high in goals, points and blocked shots, Johnston is also on pace to set a new career high in assists. The young star has taken another step forward this season and remains an elite option for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

  • Golden Knights' Brayden McNabb: Deposits opening goal

McNabb scored a goal on two shots, recorded two blocked shots and dished out three hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over Dallas.

McNabb put the Golden Knights on the board just 4:01 into regulation. While the 35-year-old blueliner isn't known as a goal scorer, he has two tallies over his last six games and sits just one goal shy of tying his career high of five goals. Overall, he has eight points, 65 shots on net, 97 hits and 123 blocked shots across 52 contests this season. While his offensive numbers don't jump off the page, McNabb remains a strong option in category-based leagues and banger formats with his elite 2.37 blocks per game, which ranks third in the NHL.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Falls to Preds in OT

Knight made 30 saves on 33 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to Nashville.

Filip Forsberg was his nemesis in this one, having a hand in all three of the Predators' tallies, including the OT winner on a gritty solo effort. Knight still has just one regulation loss in March, going 2-1-3 in six starts with a 2.76 GAA and a .912 save percentage.

  • Filip Forsberg LW | NSH

Predators' Filip Forsberg: Carries Nashville to OT win

Forsberg scored two goals, including the overtime winner, and added an assist in Sunday's 3-2 victory over Chicago.

The veteran winger got Nashville on the board early in the second period before helping to set up Steven Stamkos for the tying tally midway through the third. Forsberg then picked Andre Burakovsky's pocket behind the Chicago net early in OT before beating Spencer Knight for the winner. Forsberg extended his point streak to four games with the performance, a surge that has seen him rack up four goals and nine points as the Predators try to secure a playoff spot.

  • Golden Knights' Ivan Barbashev: Lights lamp on power play

Barbashev tallied a power-play goal and put three shots on net in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Stars.

Barbashev scored the lone tally of Sunday's second period to tie the game at two goals apiece. It was his 20th goal of the season, a mark he's reached in three of the last five regular seasons. Overall, the 30-year-old winger has 49 points, 115 shots on net, 115 hits and 34 blocked shots through 71 games this season. With seven points over his last 11 contests, Barbashev is making good pace to set the second-highest point total of his career if he can surpass the 51 points he posted in 70 regular-season games a year ago.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Collects OT win in return

Saros turned aside 26 of 28 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over Chicago.

Nashville twice had to rally from one-goal deficits in regulation, before Filip Forsberg potted the OT winner. Saros looked fully healthy after a brief two-game absence due to a minor upper-body injury. Sunday's win was his 25th of the season, the fourth time in his career he's reached that mark. The veteran netminder hasn't allowed more than three goals in a start since the Olympic break, going 4-2-2 in his last eight outings with a 2.70 GAA and .909 save percentage.

  • Reilly Smith RW | LV

Golden Knights' Reilly Smith: Nets GWG on Sunday

Smith scored the game-winning goal and fired two shots on net in Sunday's 3-2 win over Dallas.

Smith played the hero for the Golden Knights in Sunday's battle when he tallied the game-winning goal at 16:22 of the third period. The goal was his third over his last eight games, to go with two assists and 15 shots, but he's been scratched six times in that span as well. Overall, he has 12 goals, 21 points and 76 shots on net over 61 games this season. He should continue to see a role in Vegas' middle six for the time being.
