Owen Power D | BUF
Sabres' Owen Power: Goal, assist in overtime loss
Power scored a goal, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Power snapped a three-game slump with this effort. He set up Alex Tuch's opening goal in the first period and scored to tie the game at 4-4 midway through the third. The 23-year-old Power has contributed decent offense in a top-four role this season, though he isn't currently in the power-play mix. The blueliner has a career-high eight goals but has added just 18 helpers with 105 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating over 70 appearances.

Zach Benson LW | BUF
Sabres' Zach Benson: Adds two more points Sunday
Benson scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Sunday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Benson played a big role in the third period, helping out on a Jack Quinn goal before eventually giving the Sabres a 5-4 lead with his own tally. This was Benson's second multi-point effort in a row, and he has two goals and four assists over his last five contests. The 20-year-old winger is currently in a bottom-six role, which could limit his output. He has nine goals, 34 points, 90 shots on net and a plus-24 rating over 54 appearances this season.

Nate Schmidt D | UTA
Mammoth's Nate Schmidt: Leaves game due to illness
Schmidt didn't finish Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kings because of an illness, per Brogan Houston of the Deseret News.
Schmidt did not play in the final frame of Sunday's win after logging one shot and one hit in 12:26 of ice time across the first two periods. The 34-year-old defenseman can be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's home matchup versus Edmonton.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Yields six goals in overtime loss
Lyon stopped 27 of 33 shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Lyon's six-game winning streak came to an end with one of his worst outings of the season. He had not given up more than three goals in any game during his streak. The 33-year-old is at a 20-8-4 record with a 2.64 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 34 contests this season. Lyon and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen have alternated starts lately, and one hiccup by Lyon shouldn't be enough to cause head coach Lindy Ruff to deviate from that pattern. If it holds, Luukkonen would face the Bruins on Wednesday while Lyon's next start would be against the Red Wings on Friday.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Dishes pair of helpers
Carlsson recorded two power-play assists and three shots on goal in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.
Carlsson set up Chris Kreider's first-period tally and also helped out on Mikael Granlund's equalizer late in the third. Carlsson has earned three goals and three assists over his last four games, and his effort Sunday gave him his first power-play points since Feb. 27 versus the Jets. The top-line center is up to 58 points (16 on the power play), 150 shots on net, 31 PIM and a plus-1 rating across 58 outings.

Mikael Granlund C | ANA
Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Nets equalizer Sunday
Granlund scored a power-play goal on two shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.
Granlund has scored in back-to-back contests since he shook off a six-game slump. The Ducks look to have a battle opening up for the second-line center job, with Granlund and Mason McTavish competing for those minutes. Granlund has 14 goals, 29 points (six on the power play), 90 shots on net and a minus-11 rating over 46 appearances this season, but his ability to handle all situations and his veteran leadership could help him keep the spot over McTavish as the Ducks look to keep their claim to the top spot in the Pacific Division.

Jackson LaCombe D | ANA
Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: One of each Sunday
LaCombe scored a power-play goal and added an assist in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.
LaCombe scored in the first period and set up Beckett Sennecke in the second. With three goals and seven assists over 12 outings in March, LaCombe is providing steady offense from the blue line as usual. He's earned nine goals, 49 points (15 on the power play), 133 shots on net, 117 blocked shots, 62 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 70 contests this season. His goal scoring is down from last year, but the 25-year-old has made modest improvements in nearly every other area to lead the Ducks' blue line.

Beckett Sennecke RW | ANA
Ducks' Beckett Sennecke: Pair of points in overtime win
Sennecke scored a goal on three shots, dished a power-play assist and added two PIM in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.
Sennecke snapped a seven-game point drought with a helper Friday versus the Mammoth. He followed it up with a multi-point effort Sunday, suggesting he may be getting back on track after the slump. The 20-year-old rookie has done pretty well to limit his dry spells, showing impressive consistency on a young team. Sennecke is up to 21 goals, 54 points (12 on the power play), 169 shots on net, 81 hits, 48 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 70 appearances.

Chris Kreider LW | ANA
Ducks' Chris Kreider: Goal, assist in win
Kreider scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres. Both points were on the power play.
Kreider had the Ducks' first goal and set up Mikael Granlund's equalizer in the third period. The winger snapped a seven-game goal drought with the tally and has four multi-point efforts over his last 10 outings. Kreider is up to 22 goals, 44 points (15 on the power play), 118 shots on net, 57 hits and a minus-2 rating through 64 contests this season.

Troy Terry RW | ANA
Ducks' Troy Terry: Scores twice Sunday
Terry scored two goals on three shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.
Terry's first goal put the Ducks ahead 4-2 in the second period. When that lead didn't last, he came through as the overtime hero 1:29 into the extra session. The 28-year-old has three goals and three assists over four outings since he returned from an upper-body injury. Terry is up to 16 goals, 51 points, 120 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 50 appearances this season, mainly in a top-six role. Two of his goals have been game-winners.
